My partner and I thought we had found our new neighborhood go to place. We stopped in two or three times and sat in the patio bar area. Shawna was our server and she was great. We typically had lunch or stopped for a beer in the evening. One Saturday night about a month ago, we had just arrived and shortly after so did a number of Loose Canyon motorcycle club members. Drunk, obnoxious, aggressive, loud. We asked Shawna "do they come here often?". She said "every Saturday night." That was it. We walked out leaving half a pitcher of beer. I felt unsafe and you cant enjoy yourself when you feel you have to be continuously looking over your shoulder to see of the disruption the next table over is soon. going to include you. Too bad. They need more of a security presence with that type of clientele or management who is not afraid to step in fighting is going on. We wont be back.

Been going here for 15 years, well before the name was the Trough. Tonight (01/22/17) they had a newish crew and it was a dissappointment, even for this dive bar. New waitress ignored us for first 15 minutes. We finally went to the bar. Then she got all pissy. Claimed bar needed to hold my card. What!?! Thats a first for me there ever. Anyway, I guess that meant we were on our own. After giving her the card, she full-on ignored us. Made a point to make us go to the bar, so we did. On my final trip to the bar, my tab seemed too high, and was not itemized, but at that point I was too mad to care. I just wanted to leave. So Troy and/or Rob, you may want to straighten this s!hit out. I always drop $30-40 on a trip up there. A few times, having a good time with friends, Ive dropped well over $100. And thats somewhat hard to do at the Trough because it is so cheap.

For all the money spent on advertising this was not a pleasant experience. The bar and grill is very nice inside. That being said the service was slow. Getting our food took forever and was awful. The waitress told us the cook was intimated and breakfast wasnt his strong point. She was right. There were no more than 12 patrons probably 7 having food including the 4of us.Took over an hour. My suggestion---spend more money on staff and hiring a good cook.

Guess we had our invisibility cloaks on. The sign says Kitchen open til 10...Hey, I know it was raining and a Tuesday, but we were just wanting a place to dry off and eat. We stood for a few minutes, then picked a booth. Both the bartender and the waitress were talking behind the bar. After about 10 minutes we gave up and left.

Fun staff great bar fare food in fact some of the best in the area!!! Rob the manager is always on hand to you select a drink if your not sure what youre in the mood for. A nice outdoor seating area with views of the Superstition Mountains! !! Great happy hour specials!!

Liked the place. It was darker than a restaurant (definitely bar atmosphere) but there were tables and service like a restaurant. Food was really good and decently proceed. We will be back for sure

I thought The Trough was a wonderful place to sit and have a beer. The waitresses had a lot of enthusiasm and were quite nice and easy on the eyes. Ill go back for more beer, and waitress watching.

Very big place, many TV, pool tables, dart boards and out door seating. Small parking in front, much larger parking lot in back. Food is really good and friendly staff.
