OUT OF DATE FOOD MADE MY CHILD SICK. Recently bought a box of crackers that contained nuts and dairy. The box was out of date and my toddler unknowingly ate a decent amount. He then woke up in the middle of the night vomiting and continued to be ill several more times that night. The next day I went back to the store and talked to a manager about the incident. He apologized but I honestly didnt feel like he took the issue seriously enough. Having worked in the grocery business before I know that it is the stocking staff and grocery managers job to assure that the food I pick off the shelf if within its sell by dates and not the job of the customer to check every box or bag of food they purchase. As much as I like the northern location in Kingman and travel from the south side of town to shop, I will take my shopping elsewhere and warn my friends and neighbors to be Leary of what they purchase at this store.

Just moved to a location Near by. Mind you I have been here For 3 days and pharmacist refused to fill my scripts because my ID is from Wa state . So as far as I no that is not ok I would need ID in every state because my husband drives a truck and the pharmacist Said you need to get one in 10 days AGAIN YOU DUMB PHARMACIST ARE YOU KIDDING ME !!!!! Ps my ID isnt expired! !!! You rude bag of regurgitated food . ITS FOR SEIZURES assclown!! Go back to school !!!

Always clean and well stocked. Both locations on same street are the only 2 markets in town that are clean and have great delis. The location that is north of the highway 40 has a great butcher and seafood counter as well. The location south of the 40 has a decent meat selection but no butcher and a useless seafood selection. Both have good bakeries as well.

I use to like Safeway and knowingly paid their high prices but one day, I bought $10 worth of sliced cheese because I thought it was buy one get one free when it was actually buy two get one free. That was it for me, $10 for two packs of sliced cheese (I didnt want the third one, it would have just gone bad). I am done shopping there, it was that easy.

This is a clean, safe, well stocked grocery store. The produce is normally very fresh. They stock bison in the meat section. Wonderful bakery. There is a Starbucks located in the store, gas pumps at the entrance, as well as recycle bins. It is a pretty inclusive location, making it easy to get multiple things done in the least amount of time.

Nice place to shop for groceries. Disappointed that at the deli, they keep condiment packets for samiches behind the counter and customers have to ask for them. The other Safeway in town (Old Safeway) keeps the condiments packets ON the deli counter for customer access. Its the little things.. Just sayin.

Considered the "new" safeway, this is my go to store (and not just because its closer to me), for the vast majority of my grocery shopping. Plenty of good deals, great coupons, and of course gas discounts at their fuel station. The store is always clean and the staff are friendly and helpful.

We stopped here on the way east. We went to the gas station to fill up and were treated very rudely. We spent half an hour trying to purchase $100 worth of gas and finally just gave up because the lady running the station was rude and mean spiritted.

Had a terrible experience at check out. Waited in line forever while they went looking for an item for the person checking out, which never could be found! Why they did not complete the transaction and let the next person check out is beyond me.

No self checkout so you have to stand in line even if youve only got one thing and ive never seen them with more than two check stands open at a time. Even if there are long lines.
