Had dinner there last night. Great place, curry gravy was off the chain. Poppa-doms served as we sat down with two types of light chutney Chicken pakoras cooked to order. They were yummy, nice chicken breast, crunchy exterior with a nice tender piece of chicken in the middle. Naan, and Roti cooked to order, no re-done or pre-made bread (When you think of it, unleavened bread doesnt need to be pre-made) I had a treat inspired from Goa, a vindaloo chicken curry. It was great, havent had one like that in Arizona since Ive lived here. What really blew my socks off though, was as I was finishing a nice piece of garlic naan, the server asked if Id like to try some fish curry. I havent had good fish curry outside of the West Indies or the UK, but this was an east Indian treat. I almost wish I had that instead of the vindaloo. My wife had lamb, which they tandour prior to adding gravy.. I.. stole some from her, it was very good too. Service was great, prices were really reasonable and the food was fresh. A lot of Indian places around town seem to use buffet items as substitutions for a la carte items. Not here, all the curry gravies we had were different, and were not from the buffet, nor meats. Oh yeah, they have a buffet too, if Indian food is new to you, you can try a bunch of things all at once. Hands down, best Indian Ive had in the Valley.

Such a worst restaurant i have never been to We ordered veg biryani and shrimp biryani.-- What he gave is a partially boiled white rice mixed with salt and pepper mixed with some half cooked mixed vegetables. The owner came by asking how is food and without thinking twice i told him that it was absolute disaster. Then waiter came by and i told him 3 times that the food is very badly prepared. They didnt show any courtesy or taken any action to provide better food. When we have left 3/4th of the ordered food, we were asked if we need a to go box and i said no and said that the food was worst, even after that they just made me pay the bill and leave. For the hotel management---If you people dont know how to prepare a biryani, take it off from the menu but dont spoil the name of indian food by serving such disastrously cooked food. The food and the management both are absolutely worst here.

Whether your tastes run hot or mild, these guys will hook you up. They can and do prepare any Indian / Nepalese food you want, any combination you prefer and spice it just the way you like. The menu is all encompassing but it doesnt over power one as you peruse. I decided on their shrimp vindaloo, spicy. Moments later, out come the most wonderful aromas, fresh, clean, simply delightful. The combination of their himalayan basmati rice, wonderful garlic naan, and the supremely blended dish with potatoes and prawns all went together just as the waiter suggested. Perfect! Im already looking forward to their lunch buffet. I dont write many favorable reviews, so when I find a place, in this part of town, that out and out hands down, hits it out of the park, I want everyone to know about it and go try it. TKG

My wife and I ate here on a Friday night. It was fairly busy, but we were seated right away. My wife comes here often and learned that they actually offer goat meat, even though it isnt on the menu. So she ordered Goat Curry and I ordered the Lamb Vindaloo. Both were excellent! I found my dish to be pretty spicy and took a while for my mouth to cool down. All the meals are a la carte, so we ordered a side of rice and two orders of naan. We also shared a tasty Indian beer. We were surprised when our server came out and gave us a complimentary order of their honey balls. A nice unexpected touch! Overall, we were happy with the service, the food, the portion sizes, and the value. If you like Indian food, you should try this restaurant!

There is no option to give zero stars. This restaurant deserves zero stars. I went there for a carryout at 9:30 in the night. They told me it will take 15 minutes, and I cant eat there as they close at 10. Fair I said. I ordered a chicken dish, a dal and naans. When I came home and opened the box, I could clearly tell that everything I ordered were left overs (probably from the lunch buffet). The naans were burnt and hard and clearly left overs. The chicken was bland and was definitely not what I ordered. So I am presuming they just packed one chicken dish thinking whats the difference. And yes I have had much better dals, It was like eating a day old dhaba food, and yet it was so costly. Would never ever go back again.

Always enjoy coming to this place. Im no food critic, so if its authenticity you crave who knows, maybe this place isnt for you, or maybe it is! All I know is that I love India Garden. The hostess knows me by name, the Nepali guy greets me every time I enter. Such a friendly place. Food is always great, the samosas are amazing. Lamb Curry is bomb. Paneer Masala is my absolute favorite. One night I went there to pick up a take out order, and the bartender made me and another guest a free Milk Rose drink! How nice! Theres only a few places where I tip more than I should and this place gets it. Mainly because of how the staff is. Plus they had cool Indian pop music playing on their little tv! THANKS INDIA GARDEN!!!!

I have read a lot of reviews about this place and all of them have been good. So I decided to try it myself. I went to the Saturday lunch buffet and it was very good. We arrived to a very quite and nicely decorated restaurant. We were greeted and immediately seated. We went up and started trying everything they had in the buffet. I was definitely surprised with the quality and freshness of all of the food. I literally tried every item even the ones I could not pronounce or even say, All of the food was great and the service was incredible. The bread they bring to the table really makes the whole meal. If you havent tried this place you definitely should and I will definitely be going back,

This place has amazingly good food and the buffet is impressively fresh!!! I found the naan to be excellent, piping hot and soft which is unlike my experiences from other places in the PHX basin. Their menu items are also superb with great emphasis on spice which I fully welcome and appreciate but the prices are steep for my budget. Because of this, I will refrain to eating from their buffet and is sadly where I have to rate it only 4 stars since there are no dinner buffets :( For all other measures, this is the flagship place to eat for quality, service, and location.

It may just be my craving for exotic food, but this place never disappoints. You need to order several dishes, so people can try as much as they want of each. The most recent time I ordered the seekh kabob, shrimp bhuna, lamb madras, naan and rice. Their naan is full of flavor, their rice is perfect and everything tastes great. Indian food doesnt overload you with spice (unless you ask) but there isnt much out there that has more flavor. The drinks they have are great too. The milk rose I had was excellent, and they have a full bar as well.
