Wife and I wanted some curry so decided to try Marigold Maison. Its a bit difficult to find. It is behind the In & Out but is not at the corner as the map indicated but on the south side. We sort that out quickly enough. We walk in an empty restaurant see pics, the patio was empty. We took a minute to look at the menu and waited to be seated. A man walked up and asked how many. We said just the two of us. With a bit of an attitude he says were full and walks away. It was Friday evening before 6pm. We were perplexed but left without incident and went across the street to Outback Steak House which was completely full but had us at a table in a couple of minutes. Maybe it was a bad employee, or maybe just having issues in the back. Whatever the reason it is inexcusable to treat guests that way. There are a number of good Indian Cuisine establishments in the valley. Such as India Palace, Indian Delhi Palace, and many others. I suggest going to one of them. I have never been refused service before at any establishment. I am simply appalled by their conduct.

This is a small but packed with people Indian restaurant. Both with indoor and outdoor seats, I like the vibe of it. They have lunch menus that has some limited dishes but they have some platters (called Thali) which includes combo of some dishes as taster. I tried Chicken Curry and my girlfriend tried Lamb Thali, both very well made except the salad and lentil soup were tasteless. It was like salad didnt have any dressing and there was no salt in lentil soup. The waiter was very friendly. Gotta try their dinner menu too but so far my experience was positive. Also if you like iced tea, you may be surprised with their version of ice tea. It is made in house by the chef, has clove and coriander in it which is very refreshing and different. Another surprise was that they charge for soda water which was unusual but waiter took it out of my bill.

I called 30 mins to order food here before arriving to pick it up. They kept telling me how busy they were on Saturdays on the phone. When I showed up, there was no one in the building inside or outside it was completely empty on an afternoon on Saturday. When I came I thought the food was ready because it was pre-ordered for over a half an hour, but when I came there, I had to stand there and wait for another hour and it there was no one there! How are they so busy as they were saying?! There was only one rude waiter they just kept walking around acting busy and talking. After all that wait, I finally got the orders for two adults and the food was just plan nasty, bland, cold and old. It doesnt taste anything like Indian food! This is the worst dining in Paradise Valley!

Food was top notch. The service wasnt that great. Our waiter whos name starts with the letter A was very nice but his lack attentiveness ruined the first time experience. After handing out menus he didnt come back and we had to actually call him over to take our order. After our food was served he never came back to see if we needed anything. Finally after we were finished eating our meal and waiting 15 min for the check while he was engaged in conversation with other employees we had to call him over to get the check. His lack of attentiveness was reflected in his tip. the food was great. Nice clean and plain veiw of the whole kitchen.

So I really like this place but it changes habds/style/menu so often its hard to tell what Im going to get (hence the 4). In its current incarnation its an exceptionally delicious Indian restaurant with very polite staff (and Im not just laying it on thick- every time Ive come in they go above and beyond). Its a little pricy but you get what you pay for. Their ice tea is an herbal tea and very good. I know its kinda generic to say but their paneer / chicken tikka masala is awesome and they do great vindaloos.

Great food. The taste and food are 5 stars, as the dishes explode with flavor in your mouth. The waiter Abraham, /bar tender/ and everything else was good and attentive. He was waiting all the tables.,, which was the only downfall of this establishment. The service took a little while but that was not the waiters fault. There look to be a manager there but he was only helping with cursory glances. If theres just one more waiter I would have given this place five stars. Call me picky, but honest.

Very accommodating... My husband and I received a gift card here and chose to go on New Years Eve. Not only are there plenty of vegan options but they are very accommodating. The chef even made us his own vegan dessert because the rest of the restaurant got a free dessert for the holiday. Has an authentic feel with the sharing platters and open kitchen. You do have to still be on your veggie game and ask before ordering so the kitchen is aware of your preferences, they dont mind at all.

We really enjoyed the food at Marigold. As a complete newbie to Indian cuisine, this was a safe bet for me. I tried the Vegetable Tikka Masala - it was completely stocked with a myriad of veggies in a delectable and savory sauce, served over fragrant, pillowy rice. My mother, who is less likely to go out of her food comfort zone, ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala and was thrilled with her meal. The service was great; very informative and attentive. All in all, a lovely night out.

Marigold Maison is my favorite Indian restaurant in the Valley. This is not your standard average restaurants. The food is very tasty and lovingly prepared. This is not fast-food style food... this is an upscale restaurant experience. They recently expanded because they have a loyal following. They put in an American Style bar by the front of the restaurant which is half on the outside. They have a TV which often has the sports game.

This is our favorite Indian restaurant in the valley so far. The food is exceptionally good and very well spiced. We come here as often as we can. Ive had the opportunity to do both take out and dine in and the service while eating there is very good as well. Its a small place, but I understand they are expanding which is good! As with all Indian, the food is expensive, but oh-so-worth-it.

This place maybe constructed well on the inside and out, but please avoid being a customer here. If you like Indian food dont come here! This doesnt taste anything like Indian food, its been Americanized (no flavor). All the containers were half empty, and the portion of food wasnt enough to feed an adult, perhaps a child for such a high cost!! Very disappointing!

I eat a mostly vegetarian diet, and there are so many options here! If youre not vegetarian, dont worry, they have options to make everyone happy. The staff is very friendly, not to mention everything has lots of unique flavor and tastes amazing! Hands down my new favorite restaurant (and Im picky)! If you like spicy, I recommend the Goan Vindaloo.
