Not only is service slow, but the employees have no sense of urgency. The lady that puts the meat on your plate is ride. If you have a modification they roll their eyes or huff and puff. When they run out of an item they scoot you to the side indefinitely with no continuong reassurance that what youre waiting for is being prepared as quickly as possible. The manager is rude not only to customers but to her staff as well. They have two cash registers its rate that they are both open. Your approximate wait time is typically goiñto be your entire lunch break. Ive been going here for a year now and nothings changed since. The three stars are simply for the good good they have. I suggest treating customers like customers and not like figures. True youre gonna make the money regardless. But I hate to come in and feel like this. Also found a piece of steak wool in my cabbages.

Eat here! We are so happy we found it. Showed up on a Saturday night without a reservation and the owner generously accommodated us. I cannot eat dairy and the owner very nicely went through the whole menu with me and said if items were safe or not. Most of us ordered the fried chicken and it was delicious! Crispy, moist, and flavorful. The cornbread and sides were great too. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Ate here routinely until I saw an employee preparing the plates without gloves. I politely asked that she don gloves before handling my food. She became indignant and refused to serve me. The apparant manager prepared the food and directed everyone to don gloves. On a subsequent visit the same woman is gloveless again handling food. Shes brazenly unsanitary and shouldnt be anywhere near food. I wont be back.

Boy somebody Grandmother deem got off the Her rocking chair and she cooking up a storm. This food is the damn truth. Yes its a long line so you need to try and get there early and be prepared to wait in line for a few mins. Also just take it to go, cause the place is a hole in the wall type diner. But, the food is so damn good.

Way too slow with service. That line barely moves and then you all ran out of food. Well it was close to closing time, but the service needs to improve. The food is ok,nut the yams are too sweet. (Diabetics beware) please add another hot bar ton improve service.
