I have been to 3 Golden Corrals before. They had plenty of food and were pretty clean. This Golden Corral is not up to standards. They did not have the food advertised in commercials-like wings, cotton candy, cooked steak, or cookies. I had to walk up to the counter 3 times for steak. The first time I walked up there, one cook tried to get me to get prime rib instead. I had to ask a cook to bake cookies for the dessert bar. I never saw any of the chicken wings they advertise on the commercial. My 1st glass was dirty. I read the reviews before I went, and I know people say its a buffet-What more can you expect? This Golden Corral made me not want to go to another Golden Corral and I have loved the Golden Corrals in Chattanooga, Sevierville, and Panama City Beach.

Dirty! I had a family member who worked there tell me how bad the sanitation is and the health of the food, in addition: The battered meat (I was told, it was lamb) was labeled "yams". I can only guess someone misheard since the words sound similar. Since the food was battered it was impossible to tell, until I ate part of it. It is against my religious and ethical beliefs to eat meat. I threw up until it was all up, ruining my meal and day. I felt so bad for eating it. When I told the employees they shrugged and offered NO apology or refund or anything. I have NEVER gone back. I used to eat there a couple times a week with family, but never since. I wrote management and never heard back.

Food safety is non-existent saw a manager wipe his face and nose with his gloves then continue to make food. I asked him to change his gloves as we all had to eat what he cooked and then he told me I was wrong and he didnt touch food. Next time lie to someone who is not watching you. Asked to speak to another manager and my impression he did not care or seem surprised by the issues. As for the food 6 oclock on a Wednesday and the bars were empty and with very little business. As we left i could hear one manager talking about our table to other employees. Will not be returning...

Worst customer service ever!! Will never return. Our cashier was extremely rude and when I asked for a receipt she exclaimed I dont need a receipt so I approached a manager and all the manager told me was she would have to talk to the cashier and get back with me well neither of them returned with the receipt or an explanation the food was cold and I never saw our server again after she introduced herself to us... Very displeased.....

This is a good place to go If you want plenty of vegetables with a meal. Generally the food is good. This, by any stretch of the imagination, is not fine dining. It is a buffet so you can pick and choose. You can eat fairly healthfully here by making smart choices. You can also eat very unhealthy, your choice. My opinion is that it is a bit pricey for what you get.

We have always enjoyed eating at Golden Corral but this night was a big disappointment. Catfish was scorched, sautéed onions and peppers were old and scorched too. The cal-amore was like a rock, the cook at the grill was too busy to serve customers. After standing there a while we gave up on getting steak....... The lady working the desert bar was very sweet.

One of the lower golden corrals in the birmingham area, normally has a lot of people and little food. When theirs not a rush of people normally the food dries out from sitting under the heat lamp. Normally the waitresses come around to refill your drinks and take your plates, but we have been here where our group has had a table full of plates and no drink.

The quality of the food was definitely better than the average buffet but the price was high. $18 and change for 1 meal and a Sprite was a bit high for the meal. If you like your steak medium rare you are more likely to get your monies worth than if you prefer medium well as the cut/grade of steak that they use does not fare well when cooked beyond medium.

This use to be one of the best Golden Corrals to eat at now it isnt worth walking into!! The cant keep the bars full of food, the womens restroom was nasty, husband got some blackeyed peas and the were spoiled!! This place has totally went to hell in a hand basket!!! Waste of time and money definitely will not be back to this location!!!!!!

This place really has went to the dump!! They had a roach crawl off the wall onto a piece of bread roll. I moved the roll off to the side and told the waitresses about it. She NEVER went to remove the roll. The Bourbon Chicken is my favorite at Golden Corral and theirs tasted burnt. I dont think I will be going back ever...

Paid $35 to eat here.... Food was disgusting, some werent even completely done... This place made me sick... Literally sick! Bathrooms were not clean.... There was an employee who went in the same time I did but did NOT stop to wash her hands... I almost puked!! Do NOT eat here!!

The worst buffet ever, the wait staff was nice very polite. The guy named Nathaniel that cooked the steaks should never be allowed to cook in a resturant again, he dug in his ears counted his money and never gave anyone of us in our party of five or any other peoples order

horrible staff was taking home food right in front of us. tables were dirty. did not refill any of the buffet. and the manager had a bottle of windex on the buffet right next to the shrimp scraping off a sticker into the food and spraying all the glass. Gross.

First visit to this Golden Corral, Steak where realy good tender good flavor had to wait for second round put it was worth it. Ran out of garlic shrimp did not get any of them. Waitresses was very friendly. Would recommend this golden corral to everyone

Our server was okay but the food wasnt that good. Everything was either cold or rubbery like it had been up there all day. The mashed potatoes, fries, and fish wer e the only things that were actually good. We dont live here but I will never go back.

We got here around 5:15. There was a pretty long line but it moved very quickly. The staff is really friendly. Great service and above par food for the price. Ive always liked Golden Corral but Im pretty impressed with this location. Two thumbs up!

Very large buffet style restaurant. Cheap in every sense. Very ordinary, simple and unattractive interior. Youre welcomed by an uninterested staff member behind a counter asking which non-alcoholic beverage you wish served in a matte plastic cup.

Went for lunch, under $9 per person, plus $2.29 per drink. Good selection, although selection for dinner is probably bigger/better. Most items looked fresh and place was well attended by waitresses. Our waitress was very friendly.
