DISAPPOINTED!! Food was okay with the exception of mashed potatoes that were more potato chunks that mashed potatoes. I was brought a drink without ice. My spouse received a drink with a little ice. The waitress came by later and brought a small amount of ice in a cup and did apologized later and brought a small amount of ice. With the building being recently renovated prior to opening 2-3 wks ago I would expect new machinery, carpet and ect. The reason ourselves and several others did not get ice in our beverage was a problem with the ice machine. I cant imagine that new machines would malfunction in this time period. Also, the carpet was disgusting! It either hasnt been cleaned properly or was never replaced (my guess the later) as it was black and looked gross. IF this wasnt enough to make me question the cleanliness of the restaurant, the drink station area looked messy and the floor was wet and appeared to be dirty. In addition, I witnessed a waitress wash a tabletop and never touch the seat of the booth which you could clearly see pieces of food across the bench. After she passed the table several times, she proceeded to sit another set of customers on the dirty seat. The overall appearance of cleanliness was obviously NOT IMPORTANT!!

The food is o.k. but they get two stars for the staff. Dont get me wrong the service was great with the exception of them not opening on time. Their were multiple issues with cleanliness and buffet checks. There was an open gallon jug of thousand island dressing turned upside down in the service container on the buffet for the entire thirty minutes I spent there. There were multiple items missing service utensils which led to people just picking it up with their hands. There were multiple cooks using their cell phones while preparing food in the open with no effort to even hide them. You can not be expected to feel your food is safe when you have staff wearing gloves, reaching into their pockets and playing with their phones then proceeding to touch your cooked ready to eat food. The overall cleanliness of the restaurant is not something I would expect from a buffet when you are literally the first person through the door. I shouldnt be able to see food and debris under the buffet from my table. Please in the future find a coconut pie that doesnt taste like tanning lotion smells. Your first clue that its a bad pie should always be when their is no coconut in the actual pie filling, but Instead replaced with way to much flavoring.

Food was horrid fried shrimp so hard it chipped my dentures at the too eye tooth all i got was an im sorry and are you seeking medical help well of course my tooth is chipped i paid a lot of money for them to take one bite chip my tooth so we leave he refunded my food but not the husbands whom left after 2 bites because i wasnt eating the food was old the building was nasty the bathroom just dont go in there floor was wet fall hazard the 1 star was for the server and had to give one to leave a review now if they do the right thing and replace my top plate i will revise this review and give another try if NOT i guess ill be seeing an attorney lord please let them do the right thing i will update either way !!!!

We visited for the first time and were well pleased. The menu was extensive and delicious. The service was outstanding. The server even let us know when fresh rolls were on the steam table. The restaurant was very clean, especially the bathrooms. Overall it was a very good experience. The only regret is that we live 150 miles away from the closest Golden Corral. When our server said she hoped we would return we explained that we lived a great distance away. She wished us a safe and blessed journey back home. All those local people should make sure to eat at your great restaurant. Wish we had one in Olive Branch, Ms.

For this location to be recently renovated it was not clean or updated. The carpet is nasty and all of the tables had crumbs all over the seats. Also, the silverware had food residue on every single piece (gross)!! The food was okay. Not what I expected for a Golden Corral and especially not one that was just opened. They dont have much of a selection and it just doesnt taste the same as any of the others I have visited. Two stars because the sweet tea was good and the staff was polite.

We got to Golden Corral about 4:30 everything was dry overcooked even the desserts all of them meets the carrots were horrible couldnt even try them if youre going to go to Golden Corral and Florence Alabama I suggest you go right before lunch or right as supper is being served which is at 5:30 because now they are changing the food out but we have already eaten very disappointed we have been here on several occasions but this was the worst and we wont be coming back!!!!!

This former Ryans restaurant has been remodeled to Golden Coral. They did a great job with fresh new paint and buffet islands. Quality of the food is much better than it used to be. Some vegetables are dried out and the buffet should be more maintained I guess. The grill with fresh steak and shrimp, smoked chicken and pulled pork is very tasty. Servers are helpful and friendly but they could use some guidance from management to keep the quality of service consistent.

I absolutely love this restaurant! The staff is always very welcoming as you enter the building and the waiters/waitresses are always very accommodating to all your needs. One of my pet peeves are to not be hovered over as Im eating,but to checked on occasionally for a drink refill or to be simply asked if Im enjoying my mean. I highly recommend this restaurant for family and anyone who loves great food and service.

This is the most nasty and disgusting food bar I have ever been to that would call themselves Golden corral. . Golden corral is always clean but not the one in Florence Alabama. .. Even the bathrooms were nasty.. We talked to District Manager Anthony from Mobile Alabama and all he could say was he was sorry.. No employee ever attempted to clean anything up.. This is not how Golden corral treats there customers. .

GREAT ATMOSPHERE, EXCELLENT TASTING SOUTHERN DISHES, GREAT FOOD ALL AROUND, EXTREMELY CLEAN PLACE TO DINE. FANTASTIC COOKS/CHEF!!! LUV THOSE JUICY PORK RIBS & DRESSING/STUFFING WHEN AVAILABLE!!!! BUT FEMALE EMPLOYEES SHOULDNT B ON THE FLOOR JUST WALKING AROUND OR SITTING AND GOSSIPING AROUND US CUSTOMERS LIKE THEY DO DAILY. OTHER THAN THAT NEGATIVE ASPECT. .......THE BEST PLACE TO EAT!!!!!

First time at the new Golden Corral in Florence, AL and it will probably be my last! The food was great, the service was great, BUT THE MUSIC was ridiculously LOUD!! No way in the world can you carry on a conversation. I dont know if management has a hearing problem or who might, but if you want to make this restaurant succeed, please turn the volume down! Thank you!

I have enjoyed the foods here at Golden Corral n so looked forward to its opening but was very disappointed as I was expecting a Golden Corral like Kenosha Wisconsin... Not at all like there... :-( You have a great Steak tho ... I believe the Dessert Bar needs more... This just reminds me of Ryans... That is Good n Bad... Love Kenosha Wisconsin Golden Corral... <3
