Since I live nearby I come here pretty regularly. Its a great Mom and Pop type place and you cant go wrong with anything on the menu. You order at the register and then grab a table if you want to eat there. They will bring your food to you when its ready. My favorites from the menu are the Kalbi and Soondubu. The seafood pancake is very good and a large portion so I recommend it as a meal by itself or for sharing. Same for the kimchi fries. The potstickers are pretty standard, nothing to fuss about. If you want a little extra snack with your dinner Id say get a small order but my guess is those might be the only thing they dont make in-house from scratch. Take-out is what I usually go for but if you eat there they have a small beer and wine selection in the fridge near the front, or they have free tea that you can serve for yourself along the wall between the kitchen and dining area. Very relaxed atmosphere, no frills kind of place that you cant really go wrong at.

We got the kimchi fries and the kimchi ramen (the two most unhealthy options but whatever :P) First of all the parking was very difficult, but then again we went to a road side shop at 6:30 so I guess we were putting it upon ourselves. Now lets talk food. The Kimchi Fries were to DIE for, we actually ended up ordering it two times. First because since we thought we wouldnt find a parking spot we thought we would just get some finger food to go but when we did find a parking spot we decided to order it again when we dined in. The fries were deliciously crunchy and you could tell it came right out of the fryer. Definitely deserves 5 stars. Now the ramen was a different story, it was very... weird. The soup and noodles were fine but they had a weird sweet pork with it, and they put a coleslaw thing on top? But as a nice cozy family run business, I think it was nice. Will come back for the fries :D

Exceptional Korean food restaurant in Ballard with a solid selection of dishes. Some favorites: the pajeun (seafood pancake), the hot stone bibimbap (rice dish only available for dine in - the hot plate browns the rice and makes it crunchy as you eat) and last but not least the soondubu (tofu stew - rich, slightly spicy, really exceptional). Also appreciate the complimentary hot green tea, kimchi side dish, and traditional kimchi available for sale in plastic containers. Finally, dont let Google fool you: they are no longer cash only and take cards.

Love this place. As a Korean American, I look forward to seeing how Korean flavors are presented, but am still a bit apprehensive of Korean fusion-type restaurants. That being said, I absolutely love this place. Their Korean tacos are made with some sort of rot bread (reminds me of the one from flat top grill), and it is really great. I personally love the spicy pork taco. They also have bitmap, which they make pretty traditionally, and it is also very good.

Cute little restaurant. Order at the counter and they bring it out for you. The complimentary tea is nice, and they have alcoholic options, including soju, as you would expect. Food is plentiful and outstanding. Ive had kimchi ramen as well as both stone pot and non-hot pot bibimbap, and enjoyed all of them. There are only six tables, so get there early, or get it to go.

Yeah. Its legit. Their bim bap bop or whatever its called is a good authentic mixture and the Kim chi ramen is super good. Good place for two to four people. Free green tea, serves beer too. Nice family owned atmosphere. Also sells Kim chi to go in big containers for a reasonable price.

Happy foodie knowing there is yummy Korean food in Ballard! The Kimchi pork pancake is my favorite! Small restaurant that seats 15-20 people. The Google description says cash only, but they also take credit cards.

Bibimbap was sub-par and did not come with any side dish of kim chi, bean sprouts, or anything at all. Sorry, but we with such excellent other options for Korean food at the same price, we wont be coming back.

Best Korean in Ballard. Probably the only Korean in Ballard. But still delish. Nice employees, typical Korean beer selection, but homemade (OMG) Kim Chee. Get some. Share.

Ive been here twice now. I had the bibimbop both times and it is delicious. I plan on going back for some of the other items. Certainly a good offering of Korean food.
