So being that Ive never been in that particular Pappadeaux I wasnt sure where to pick up my togo order. For some reason, the hostess tells me to go talk to the bartender. I dont think much of it because at the Pappadeaux where I work, the togo station in right beside the bar and when the togo server is away, the bartenders usually step in. So I go over and the bartender is just like okay, initially with an attitude. At this point I realize that I left my debit card in my car so I go grab it. I come back, go back to the bar cause I know no differently. She goes "oh our togo server is still here. shes over there *points to togo statio on other side of the restaurant * but Ill make sure she comes over here just for you" and she like screams it. trying to make me look like Im bring unreasonable coming to her. Instead of letting her know that the hostess should have just told me to go to the togo station I just went over to the proper place. I write this because I too work at a pappadeaux in Houston and I know the struggle of customer service. You never know who youre talking to. If I hadnt of just gotten off a flight and wasnot the most tired Ive everbeen I would have snapped because you dont talk to customers that way. I dont care how annoyed you are or how ridiculous they are being. If I wanted her to make the togo server come all the way over to the bar just to handle my transaction, they both should have done so with a smile. Because thats the pappadeaux way. Maybe cause my eyes were red and Im black they assumed I was high and was prone to make ridiculous requests but Nah sweetie youre just rude.

The food was excellent. Our initial service at the bar was prompt. We decided not to wait for our table we could eat right at the bar. No one spoke to us agin for over ten minutes so we decided to go to the table when it was ready so back to the hostess to get back on the list. As we were getting ready to go to our table 25 minutes later they said oh you could have eaten here. When we got to our table the service continued to be mediocre. Our server had no idea if there were specials or what they would be. I have had the flounder as a special before so I said I was hoping they had that. he said I think they might have mentioned it. When he came to the table I asked agin he said yes I could have it but he didnt know what came with it. I had the scallops. My friend asked for butter for her mashed potatoes and never got it. As we were done with the meal the server came by with extra sauce for her steak. Not what she asked for and we were done eating. Not our best visit but the first time we have been disappointed. Also we were a party of 4 we got to our table it only had 3chairs and the hostess only had 2 menus with her

This was the third time I came there.They were very busy on weekend.Our meals finally came out after waiting about 45 minutes.But it seemed someone came after us got their meals earlier than us.I loved their food.But today they gave me wrong meal.I pointed on the menu to tell the waiter what i wanted.But he did not check it with me and finally ordered the wrong meal for me.The food he ordered for me is above the meal that i wanted on the menu.Because of my poor English,usually I would like pointing it on menu instead of reading.But he did not check with me.My three years old girl needed to go potty .We got restroom in a hurry and I did not notice a women in restaurant uniform waiting there.She told me in a very rude way that I had to stay in line.I will not return because of their rude worker.The service in red lobster is much better .Their seafood and price are also better.

Worst pappadeaux experience ive had. Ive been to the one in Richardson, Arlington, and Fort Worth many times with no complaints and excellent service, but this one in grapevine was very disappointing. Bread was cold when brought to the table (not normal), we only got one loaf the whole time even asking for an extra loaf, the smoke salmon was the worst ive ever had, my red fish and shrimp was dry and over cooked, the waitress was hard to find, and the tables were so close that it was hard to maneuver through the restaurant. It made me pretty mad cause i was taking a friend there who had never been to any Pappadeaux before and it was a big let down for both of us. I honestly probably wont go back to the grapevine location. Id rather drive all the way to Richardson, Arlington, or Fort Worth.

I came to the restaurant on a Saturday night with a group of six people and no reservation. We were told to expect a 35 minute wait but we were seated within 20 minutes. There was comfortable seating available outside while waiting. We were notified by text which was very convenient. I wanted to try something out of my comfort zone so I asked our waitress to bring me whatever she recommended without telling me about it. I ended up with the Chilean sea bass. Everyone at the table tried it and thought it was the best plate ordered. I finished my meal with the seven layer chocolate mousse cake that isnt on the menu but was another recommendation from our server. We were all extremely pleased with our food and service. We will definitely be back and recommend it to others.

Good afternoon! I walked into the grapevine location and from the time me and my sons walked in it was a horrible experience. I asked for gumbo without shrimp and chicken and sausage only they told me they didnt have it. I asked them about the location in Richardson and they tried to tell me all the locations were the same which is not true. I came to the Richardson location August 12 and ordered the same thing with no problem but when I come here they gave me a hard time. Me and my sons left and went to the Richardson location instead. Manager was very rude and to top it off it was my sons 14 birthday and my first time coming to that location was horrible. I would say visit another location because customer service they dont know what that actually is.

We waited an hour after being told 40 mins. Never got a text message saying our table was ready. Asked the hostess. They couldnt find our reservation, there were 2 groups with same last name. The other group decided to sit in the bar. And they cancelled our reservation instead of theirs. The hostesses were not apologetic, nor friendly, said we would be the next table. After witnessing 5 more groups being shown to their table I asked why. The reason was we had to have table because we needed a highchair. When we checked in we asked for a booth with a booster seat. We ordered Oysters for appetizers they were so dirty and soooo sandy it was horrible. Otherwise our food was good. Our Waiter sucked.

This is for a November 10th order that I made on the phone with their To Go department. Poor customer service. The first person who attempted to take my order clearly didnt have a menu in front of him because he was quoting ridiculous prices. The second person was too lazy to even look up the prices. Why are you taking phone orders if you dont have a menu??? The third person took my order and quoted the prices that I normally pay. I went to pick up my order and there were waiters around. But, I left after about five minutes after not one person greeted me or even told me that it would be a while. They normally call if youre late picking up your order. They didnt even call. I wonder why.
