Looking for a decent place to eat on a Wed night at 10:30pm in Midtown can be difficult task. Luckly, Pazza Notte was open and we were hungry! The casual interior had several other patrons eating a late night meal. The cordial host led us to our choice of tables at this time of the day. The friendly server took our drink order and then for the meal. We started with the fried calamari and decided to share the Pizza di Enzo (Prosciutto and Arugula) on the famous flat bread. The first came out very quickly. The calamari was pretty good. It was crispy and not overly oily. The pizza took a bit more time. It came out brimming with the greens and topped with thinly sliced prosciutto. Underneath the layer of Arugula was a semi-sweet tomato base and cheese. The flat bread was good with a nice crispy edge. As pizza goes, it is okay. I guess anything can be considered a pizza if you slather tomato sauce and cheese on top. It was an enjoyable meal and glad they were open late. If we happen to be in the area again, Pazza Notte will certain be given another try if not for the rest of the menu.

Went in here last night for some dinner after a long day. The host was very nice and we were able to be seated right away. The food was decent but our waiter ruined the experience for us. He was pleasant at first but rude from then on out. The lasagna was cold in the center as if it had just come out of the refrigerator and the waiter acted put out when asked to have it heated. He didnt offer any apologies that it wasnt to our liking but instead acted as if the cold lasagna was our own fault. The spaghetti was not exceptionally warm either but was edible. The tomato basil soup was good, very rich. After we declined dessert our waiter did not even bring us our bill though we were clearly done eating and drinking. They had already taken all of our dishes! We sat there for 10-15 minutes with an empty table before we were able to flag him down. Overall, we left frustrated. Not the best ending to our day. I wouldnt recommend this place if you appreciate good service.

Dirty Martinis for Everyone! The 2 for 1 martini special is really quite the deal and definitely a crowd-pleaser because they pack one hell of a punch. After my two drinks I found myself speaking a little louder and loosening up my tie - thankfully the environment allows itself to that nature. The location has a lot of light and you can easily speak loudly with your friends without interrupting other peoples conversations. You almost feel like youre in the middle of an Italian Piazza - one full of loud chattering and endless laughing. Also, as a bread-fiend, I have to admit that not only do they have some of the best bread Ive had in a while, but the herb-full butter that comes with it is unbelievable; Im pretty sure my eyes watered as I took my last bite. Tip: I suggest getting the Grigliata di Pollo Pizza, its big enough to share, but good enough to order on your own and then pretend like you didnt know it was as big as it was.

We were in the area on business and had just enough time to stop in Manhattan to look at the Christmas displays. We did one of those quick, take the train into Penn Station and walk around for a few hours sorts of visits. We arrived starving, but wanted to stay away from the Times Square tourist meccas. Walking back down toward Rockefeller Center, we happened to spot Pazza Notte and decided to stop in. The place is warm and crowded. We were greeted warmly and seated promptly. The crowd seemed to veer towards families. The restaurant is dominated by a big brick oven off to the side, which keeps the place quite warm. We had basics. Calamari, bolognese and the pappardelle special. Everything was really tasty and well cooked. Living on the West Coast, I just dont get pasta with that texture anywhere close to home. Pazza Notte was a very pleasant surprise. Ill seek it out on purpose next time Im there.

I ate at this restaurant last week Thursday and ended up with food poisoning (we had a really good waiter). I contacted the manager, Harvey, and he was extremely rude! My hotel called an ambulance and I spent one night at Lennox Hill Hospital and a second night drugged up. I used to live in NYC and worked at Rockefeller Center for 5 years and never had an issue with any restaurant in the NY area. I returned last week to celebrate my birthday and ended up wasting 2 days being ill from this establishment. The owner refunded me for the meal yesterday (one week later) and of course no return calls from their insurance company regarding my medical bills. NYC has lots of options for food, and this one is not one Id recommend!

I waited like 20 minutes and I asked the lady who is in charge to distribute the tables to give me a buzzer and she just ignored me repeatedly...2 groups of clients who arrived after me got theirs! I dont understand, and while I asked her a third time, she got a buzzer in her hand and the moment she is going to give me me she got "distracted" by her colleague and put the buzzer back into the drawer, if your restaurant do not accept solo client please specify it clearly on your door, or she could have just told me from the beginning, it is a total waste of time. Even if your pizza is good, I dont think it interest me any more!

First, I was the a few months ago and they had seafood pizza on the menue. Didnt sound good but once we saw and smelt it at our neighbors table, we had to come back for it. And it was salivating to say the least. Next time we came, we ate it, we couldnt wish for anything more. This time, it wasnt on the menue and we ordered a different pizza. After having gobbled the yummy gluten with prosciutto, we still complained to the servant that what we wanted wasnt on the menue. He told us we shouldve asked before and the restaurant wouldve taken care of OUR REQUEST. Cozy, Italian, welcoming, yummy, with happy hours.

ok...i NEVER write reviews...I really dont care for the whole social media phenomenon....that being said..the food here is unbelieveable...my aunt has a condo a couple of blocks away and a friend of mine and I said that we were in the mood for "really good food" so she brought us here...the waiter casually mentioned that they have the best pizza in NYC (he kind of sighed, like he knew he wouldnt be believed), so we tried it and it was like an animal instinct took over! We ate 3 of them! Then we had lasagna...it was so good, it has to be illegal or something...my birthday is sunday and I am going back! Whew!
