Good location, decent food but lacking in some areas.. There have been 3 maybe 4 restaurants in this same unit, businesses fail because things arent being done correctly. Wanted to give some constructive criticism... #1 if you are going to make a breakfast stew, copy maggies recipe... You will get more customers time and time again. The current stew just doesnt taste all that great with the thin sliced potatoes. I ate there with my girl friend and she ordered a half order of the stew, i ordered a full portion...they broguth me the same size as her though. oh well.. #2 Include a spoon in your silverware wraps... I ordered coffee and I didnt even get a spoon. #3 Be more friendly. I walked in, wasnt greeted with a hello or welcome to our restaurant, just a blank stare... Greet your customers with a smile and a hello and they would love to come back. Just my 2 cents, food was ok, not great. Work on it, try and make it work!

We went on a Sunday morning, 930am. It was packed but the wait time wasnt horribly long. The interior is adequately decorated but looks very basic and...not extremely fancy. It definitely feels "local" and could use some updated furniture and an updated look. The servers were very nice, mostly really young kids. I had scrambled egg whites, pancake, and HBs + a coffee. They charge extra for using egg whites ($0.50) but the food was good. My husband had scrambled eggs, sausage, and a pancake. The eggs were perfectly salted (usually most places barely salt them) and the pancakes were basic, but fluffy and yummy. The portion sizes were good for us - very filling without being over the top! The coffee was the BEST! It was warm, not too bitter/strong, but very yummy. Really made my day. This totaled about $11 which was reasonable for a good basic meal. The overall experience was positive and we would consider visiting again.

We showed up and were seated right away, then the experience turned south. The table next to us left, was cleared, reseated, ordered drinks, received drinks, and ordered food before we even got our drinks. When our drinks were brought we were ready to order, however our server said she would be back to take our order. 5 minutes later she returned and took our order. It took about an hour to get our food. My eggs were undercooked, my bacon was burnt to black, my sons scrambled eggs were overcooked, my wifes pancakes were crumbling dry, and her grits had no flavor. While there for almost 2 hours I had 3 cups of coffee, not because that was all I wanted, but because that was all I was given. I watched other tables that did not have young children get faster and more frequent service than we did. We were very discouraged by this experience and do not plan on revisiting this establishment.

I had high hopes for this place. It was located in a cute spot. When you walk in, the place looks really cute and like a mom/pops brunch place that would have great food. I was completely mistaken. The eggs are not edible. They were a brown and pale yellow - evidence that it was cooked on a very greasy grill. They had no fluff or taste. The home fries were gross. They were like boiled potato flakes. My husband and I ordered crepes and they gave us very think pancakes (I swear!) with syrup! Even so, they had no taste. I wouldnt waste my time. For a better breakfast and better expectations just go to Dennys or iHop.

Had hoped a place that specialized in "eggs" would have a good breakfast, but that was possibly the worst basic breakfast Ive found. The "House Potatoes" were like shaved potato chips soaked in water and tossed on the grill just long enough to warm them; they were disgusting (and inedible). Sausage only available as a patty and it was delivered pretty much raw (making it inedible). The pancakes were almost flavorless. if you are looking for breakfast, go up a couple blocks to IHOP.

Place was great, crowded so we sat at bar and service was good. Best corn beef (mixed with my hash and a runny egg!) Ive had in the Kalamazoo area! You could tell the owners are there all the time, their attention shows. Going back next Sunday

The food is good enough, but food to table can be slow leaving you with warm to cool eggs. Fun fact: the chairs have tennis balls on their feet to keep the dining environment quite for an open space. Good for brunch before hitting the mall.

I eat at the one in Mattawan frequently with a buddy. Always great service, great staff and great food for a reasonable price. I hate breakfasts from national chains, so its great to have a local group I can count on for good morning meals.

Solid place, nothing too fancy. Service was a tad slow but it was a busy Saturday morning. GF ordered a huge breakfast burrito and I had a standard Bacon & Cheese omelette, both of us were happy. Gonna go back.

Legit food. They do it right! Breakfast or lunch, at the best price! We came on labor day weekend so it was very busy, but the food did take a little bit longer than expected, but WORTH the wait!

Simple dining, nothing too special and atmosphere is rather elementary but good service and consistant food. Will always be one of my favorites for a cheap and super low key morning bite.

A very nice and casual place to have breakfast or lunch. Friendly and decently fast even on a busy day, so of course it deserves 5 stars
