It was pretty bad. I anticipated it being amazing due to what friends told me, but the quality and flavor fell far short. The food was very bland. I had soft corn (street) tacos and the beef literally had no seasoning, plus a weird flavor! The chicken taco...some of the meat was burnt and all the meat was extremely DRY. The tacos just had lettuce and I think cheese but that was it. VERY cheaply made but this meal was expensive! The rice was terrible, but the beans were decent. Ive made mexican food at home way better than this. I was pretty shocked actually at how bad it was because when you choose an authentic mexican food restaurant, you expect the best. This day I wish I chose Taco Bell instead, cheaper, and more flavor. Ill skip this place at my next visit to Holland.

This food is pretty bad, being from AZ and making trips to Mexico weekly I can say this place is terrible, utterly disgusting waiters, they act like youre an inconvenience and then decide to sit there and make racial slurs and homophobic remarks in Spanish assuming the white guy sitting there cant speak Spanish. Avoid this disgusting dirty pit. Food out everywhere, rancid oil used to fry food, and staff was sitting at the back table by the bathroom eating while working with two large piles of food to sell later. Ive already gone ahead and taken the liberty of contacting the health department, clean up because the law is coming. I wish they could clean up your wretched racist and homophobic staff.

Ate Quessedilla supremo and veggie Fajitas , liked both!! Their side of guacomole with nachos was good too!! Their service was timely and good. Overall a good experience!!(2014) Came back in 2016 and ate. Their quality of food and taste remained consistently good. We tried chicken, shrimp combo(combination 3) chicken fajitas, veggie fajitas and chicken quessedilla. Every one at our table enjoyed their meal. FYI: they make their own salsa and hot sauce, which are authentic. Deserts: Both sopapilla and mexican fried ice cream were very good.

The place was packed which my wife and I found interesting because the food was below average (my wife is of Mexican heritage so shes a pretty good judge) and there was no ambiance. Unlike another reviewer, we thought the portions were huge and perhaps pricier than what you might expect. If youve not been here before youll find it to be more like a brightly lit luncheonette than a restaurant. In fairness, the staff was very nice. And, as I said, it was packed so apparently the people of Holland like it.

Real Mexicans will not like this place. We ordered some tacos de barbacoa (steamed beef) and the meat had no seasoning flavor at all. They tasted like the aluminum pots they were cooked in plain water. The cilantro and onion were thrown in there all messy with questionable items we picked out. The limes looked old like they were recycled for days. The place is ghetto, they need to invest in nicer looking tables & chairs. Employees are nice but unorganized & unprofessional.

I just dont get it -- I had a lunch there, and really was underwhelmed. Yes, ambiance zero, and the food was really very average. Ive eaten at other Mexican restaurants all over the U.S., and this just wasnt that remarkable. The salsa was salty but not especially fresh-tasting (add some cilantro, folks), the beans and rice were underseasoned, and their red sauce for chimichangas was a disappointment. Sorry I couldnt give it more stars.

Let me start by saying this place was closed twice for health code violations and customers getting ill. If this restaurant is meant to give us a sense of Mexican cuisine, then Mexico is a horrible, hellish place. The food tastes and looks disgusting. The staff is rude if youre not Hispanic, and the overall feel of the place is constricted and horrid. I dont want to imagine what their kitchen must look like.

Best Mexican food! If you love quesadillas this is the place to get them! My family loves the burritos. the chips are great and the rice is incredible! They are a family ran and owned restaurant. the waitress there has my order memorized, even when I havent been there for 6 months and come back she still knows what I want. I love this place so much... I had them cater my wedding reception.

We have been going to Margaritas since the week it opened many yrs ago. We have had incredible food there. Prices are great for the amount of food you get! Its not out of a can...beans and rice are all homemade too. The chips are the best you will find. It is not a fancy place, so dont wear your mink, however if great authentic Mexican food is what you are looking for...go here.

There are two places in Holland I go for Mexican food - my Grandmas and Margaritas. Ive been going to Margaritas since it opened and it has never disappointed. Even though I now live a thousand miles away I still consistently crave Margaritas enchiladas mexicanas. Every time Im home I make sure to schedule at least one meal here - so delicious!

I AM THE HOTTEST TOUNG IN THE AREA AND THEY ARE ONE OF THE FEW THAT CAN SATISFY ME! I have even eaten Ghost Peppers. Great chips and the food is authentic. Used to make a smoky chipotle hot sauce, but not just a tomato salsa. Tamales are the best and even people from Arizona have loved them. THIS IS AUTHENTIC NOT TOURIST!

A staff that treats you like family and consistently great food. I recommend you try something new each time you visit. My family and I have been going to Margaritas for years and missed it so much when we moved away for a few years. So glad to be back in town and to see Margaritas going strong.

Terrible. Avoid this place at all cost. Bad service and pretty sketchy looking food. Tried to branch out, but going to stick to eating at the Baja Grill right down the road. Freshest ingredients and they make the food right in front of you.
