Bottom line "HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE" and PATHETIC SERVICE. I posted on Yelp but somehow they brought it down but now I am going to post on google and see. This place closes at 10 pm me and my girlfriend entered around 9:30 pm, at this time there were 6 to 7 families on different tables. Waiter who was too busy to cleanup tables than to take the order showed up around 9:42 pm and me and my girlfriend knew what we wanted so we immediately ordered the food. Food came on our table around 9:55 pm at this time there were still 2 families seated and having their food in the restaurant. We hurriedly tried to gulp our food thinking we should not be the last one to keep holding to close the restaurant and I could see couple of to go ordered piled up on reception desk to be picked up. I ordered to go boxes because I was almost done and my girl friend was having her last few bites, at this time 10:15 pm all families already left and were too were wrapping up, Suddenly one of the waiter came and stood near my table and without my permission he almost tried to pull away my plate and I did not stopped him because I was already done but this jerk pulled the plate away from my gf too while she was still eating her food. By this time we realize that we should leave before this waiters try more stunts so I reached to glass of water the waiter literally touched the glass with his dirty cleaning hands and took that away too. We simply left the restaurant to never visit again and decided to write this review that this place has somewhat average food but people go to restaurant not only for food but for experience of dinning and good service. Agreed that it was closing time they should have not allowed us to enter at 9:30 now since someone enters let them at least finish their food rather the servers were in too much hurry and do not care about the customer.

Went Friday, November 15th for dinner with a couple of friends. The food smell was amazing and the place was crowded. We though this was going to be a good experience. We got seated and left alone for 20 minutes without getting our drink orders taken. When we flagged someone down to get our drink orders they looked very confused. Our order was a mango smoothie, coffee and 2 chai teas. The waitress immediately walks back and says that they were out of mango as they are bringing a mango smoothie out to the table next to us. Our one friend got his coffee 15 minutes later. We never got our Chai tea after asking about it 3 times; we decided to let it go because we didnt think we were going to get it. My one friend asked to order a chicken dish and the waitress told her it would take 45 minutes so that was not a possibility. (Note: Weve already been there 40 minutes). The waitress argued with me because I just wanted to split a samosa with my boyfriend; we ended up having to order two separate orders. The food arrived and it was fantastic! (Cant knock a place when their food is great!) That is the only reason why im giving them a 3 star. The bill came and I argued about the missing chai tea in which they tried to give it to me in a stryofoam cup. I had, had enough and told yet another waiter (We had 4 different waiters) to take it off my bill ive had enough poor service. Im not sure if it was because this was a busy Friday but ive never been treated so poorly.

Tried ahaar with my family on a weekday night. Alacarte order. Simple stuff . Idly, Naans, some gravy. The wait staff could use a shower.. for someone to take an order was 15 minutes. Then came the utensils which were unclean and then the wait for the food was another 25 minutes. Like mentioned in previous reviews, too much oil and color. Idly was probably reheated from buffet left over or the batter was really bad because the idly was just too hard. The curries were average. My mom makes better dishes at home. After 45 minutes and spending about 40 dollars, we still ended up eating some food at home that mom made. The next table had ordered lamb biriyani before us and they were still waiting on it when we got out food. The guy was asking if the goat ran away seeing the butcher knife. Another guest even offered to get into the kitchen himself to cook. The owner should take note of this and have command over the place. he needs to be cognizant that the people coming in also need to eat and not just the take out is important. It will be a while before we go there.

This is the sickest restaurant I have ever been, food might be good but who cares when the employees offer you the worst service. The management should get one thing straight to their dumb head that we pay money for the food we eat so management should make their employees know how to talk with customers. I dont know the employee name who was standing at the counter, he was so rude he comes to us and says while we were serving our food he interrupts us and says you cant serve food with out asking me, who the hell is he to question us, Ive been a customer to your restaurant since a year.. Shame on u aahar management, if this is what u run just wait and see you ppl will be drowned very soon. For sure I would never suggest your sickest restaurant to anyone. Finally, I would suggest your employees to get some decency first and tell your employees to be neat and then you can run the bussiness.

I just came for the first time for Aahar and this place is amazing and food was good . By the time I enter it was Busy and finally got the table , I was attended by a waitress she was kind and helpful and explained almost every item I asked for. I got the food mean while I was looking at the restaurant I loved their painting inside and saw there were only 2 ppl working running and rushing . And I got my order as I saw the reviews saying butter ckn is bad I was scared to order that but the waitresses assured that I will not disappoint, so I did oh my god its so delicious and the ckn pieces are so small . I always see them huge and ugly. But its nice they used white meat in it and is delicious. Now I never relay on reviews for tasting food. I will defiantly come again. Finally I found Indian restaurant where we can sit and have delicious food.

Some standards never change whether it is good or bad. I had the same experience three years back. I ordered something on Phone got a response that it should be ready by 20 mins and after going there I was told "SORRY SIR, WE DONT HAVE WHAT YOU ORDERED. DO YOU NEED ANYTHING ELSE". I thought it might have changed after 3 years and ordered somasa for my kids. I went to the restaurant after 15 mins and I was asked to wait for more 5 mins as it will take 20 mins for the order to complete. Guess what after 5 min wait, the guy came and said "SORRY SIR, WE DONT HAVE WHAT YOU ORDERED. DO YOU NEED ANYTHING ELSE". Owner does not even want to see my face OR bother to apologize, think about my kids looking for Somasa....NOW ANYONE WANTS TO REFER SUCH PLACE ESPICIALLY SOMEONE HAS HUNGRY KIDS WAITING FOR THE ORDER WHICH MAY OR MAY NOT WORK???????????
