How does this place have anything over a 1 star? AWFUL food, the buffet was not tended to for the entire time we were there. They had 1 chicken dish that was incredibly spicy, fish sticks labeled as "sea scallops". We asked why there werent more dishes and they asked what wed like- when asked if they could put out sesame chicken we were charged 15+ instead of it being set out on the buffet like it was offered. We asked for a manager and rcvd nothing but attitude and told they werent there and nothing they could do. We had to pay or we couldnt leave- have called for now 2 days and they are refusing to answer. Weve disputed the charges with the bank, they charged our card again! Now filing a claim because of poor service during a family dinner. Ridiculous!

This is my favorite Chinese restaurant! I go for the Dim Sum menu almost exclusively, or I order from the regular menu. I dont do the buffet. I love the Dim Sum, those lovely tasty dumplings and small offerings. Plus there are soups and main dishes on the Dim Sum menu as well. The dumpling soup is wonderful with a rich flavorful broth, and the Cantonese shrimp has a light garlic sauce with shrimp and veggies topping a bed of crispy noodles. Totally yummy. Ive also had the Mongolian beef, moo shoo pork, Hong sue gai and the sizzling rice soup, all of which I recommend. And if you are a lover of potstickers, you cant go wrong here. They have the best in town. Order from the menu, dont get the buffet. Youll be glad you did!

Are you people serious? This is one of the only places in Louisville to get real Chinese food!!! Yeah it has changed over the years, I miss the Chinese round arch that you used to walk through before you entered and maybe the food used to be a little better but its still great. Ive been coming here for as long as I can remember and I appreciate the fact that they are not just some Chinese take out place and they still serve real Chinese food. Stop disrespecting them by coming in and getting General Tsos chicken and being disappointed then post a negative review about how you prefer Double Dragon. Order some dIm sum or other real Chinese then form your opinion.

The food was excellent! I have a love for Chinese food and I am here to say I will be back and hesitate to try other Chinese restaurants. The ONLY thing that stops me from giving this place 5 stars is the service was slow. The Buffet was maintained but our drinks were not refilled without a long gap between refills. We had water, it wasnt like we were drinking the profit. Lol! Jokes aside, the food is excellent.

Best place for dim sum in Louisville. If you want "Americanized" Chinese food then this isnt the place for you. Go here if you want to order the real deal Chinese food. Try something other than the standard tasteless sweet and sour chicken or bourbon chicken from chinese restaurants and ask for the dim sum menu when you show up at this place. You wont be sorry.

This was, in all seriousness, the worst food I have ever eaten. The fried wontons were so hard, there was no ability to eat them. There was almost no filling inside as well. The General Tsos was so soggy that the "coating" was falling off. It had the texture of raw squid. Save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere.

The buffet didnt seem to have many options, especially not healthy ones, so we ordered off the menu. The food was actually quite good! They sure can make plain vegetables delicious. We were surprised because of how unappetizing the buffet looked. So delicious, but not a lot of healthy options.

Absolutely the worst Chinese food Ive ever eaten. The crab ragoons are more like onion ragoons! We got it to go and the chicken was NOT edible. The bourbon and orange chicken tasted nothing like it was supposed to. This is our FIRST and LAST time ever eating at ANY JADES PALACE

I was asked to meet here for a lunch meeting. Overall it is I suppose what I expected. Others will be pleased but the food just isnt what I would choose. Given that we had the buffet, I am curious whether they have better traditional non-American-Chinese food offerings.

Great dim sum! You cannot go to Jade Palace for the buffet you need to go for their dim sum, by far the best dim sum in Louisville. We go there at least a couple times per month. If you like Americanized Chinese food you will probably not like this place.

Some clown runs this place after they messed up our carryout order which we brought back. They did not have the new order ready, they made sure to charge us $3 for the difference in pricing. I would be embarassed for the mess up not trying to collect $3

I read the reviews so thought I would give it a try. I was extremely disappointed. The buffet was so small with very little choices. The food was so so. The people were friendly but that cant overcome mediocre food and little of it for the price.

Came in Easter Sunday at 1 pm. Promptly placed our order and then our food arrived over the course of 1.5 hours. Service was extremely slow. Waitress was also rude. Hopefully this was an isolated case. Not likely to return.

Really? Supposed to be a lunch and dinner buffet? ONE its incredibly empty, and the buffet table looks small. Please dont advertise to be lunch buffet when you were closed at lunch time

I ordered the general tso chicken and crab rangoon, and it was amazing. I like chinese and love trying new places, and this is the best I have had thus far. I would highly recommend it.

The food is great off of the menus (they have 3). The buffet isnt bad, but is a buffet, after all. By far, our favorite Chinese restaurant in Louisville.
