I cant begin to explain the completely unprofessional and judgemental experience I just had at this location. I arrived with 3 of my co-workers for dinner and drinks. We had 2 others arriving to our party a bit later. I ordered a pitcher of margaritas because quite honestly, its more cost effective than buying two separate glasses or more as I knew we planned to be there for at least a couple hours. When asked if I wanted 2 glasses, I responded that I would like 1. After staring at me with a scowl on her face she walked away. By this point my co-workers mentioned how rude the waitress had been and seemed to be judging me negatively for my purchase choice. We then begin to realize that one by one, all the staff are taking turns staring at my table. Then a man walks to our table who I can only assume is the manager and proceeds to tell me that they dont "normally sell pitchers with one glass to people" and asks me if someone is driving me when we leave. What terrible and unprofessional service! It is one thing to cut off a customer who is intoxicated. It is completely different to lecture a grown adult about choosing something off the menu you gave me. I will also point out that at no point during my visit did ANYONE ask for my ID to confirm I am of drinking age or to realize that they are lecturing a 31 year old adult. I did proceed to order a meal with my drinks when the rest of our party arrived, as well as requesting a second glass for my co-worker who shared the pitcher I ordered prior to her arrival. Our waitress continued to be rude for the rest of my partys visit as well as looking over to us multiple times after serving other tables but failing to stop at our table to see if we needed anything. I paid my full bill for my meal and that pitcher but quite honestly I feel like I should have had my bill comped for the ridiculous spectacle I was an unwilling participant in, but Ive never in my life felt the need to do that and for that reason I didnt this time. I regret the visit, but I regret the choice to pay this establishment for service like this even more.

This review is for the Carmel location only. The last time we tried this restaurant we had a poor experience with the food and service, but we though wed give them the benefit of the doubt and another try. We went in on 2/7/15. *Once again, the service was extremely slow...we watched others around us getting served while we continued to wait. *Our waitress had to be asked multiple times for the milder salsa rather than the spicy that they typically give to every table. We had asked for it because I was the only one at the table who could eat anything with any spicy heat to it. I ended up having to physically hand her the spicy salsa and tell her we didnt want anything else until we had the milder salsa. *Once the food did arrive both the dishes for my wife and myself were both bland and completely without any seasoning, and the burgers that the kids had ordered off of the kids menus were overcooked and almost burned. Overall we had another poor experience. Bad/slow/indifferent customer service. Bland Mexican food to the point where it seemed like the cook wasnt even trying. We will not be back

This is absolutely my all time favorite Mexican restaurant. It is cozy but not claustrophobic, it smells wonderful as soon as you walk in the door and the staff is all you could ever hope for. I cant make a recommendation off the menu, because everything I have ever had here is awesome. The portions are generously sized, but not overwhelming, and the the preparation is spot-on. We have a son with special dietary needs and they have always done whatever was necessary to meet those needs. You cannot go wrong at the Cancun.

I have eaten at several of the Cancun restaurants around Indianapolis for years...literally dozens of times. The food is always fresh and tasty. The menu prices are very reasonable, and the waitstaff is well-trained and attentive. Cancun is always very consistent. I believe that the negative review above from Gaba was an unusual experience. Ive never had a problem at this place. If you like basic Mexican food for a good price, you will love Cancun. They have the freshest salsa and great chips, too.

Least to say Im less than satisfied. We walked in an hour and a half before closing and they reluctantly let us inside. They forgot to give us menus and silverware. They were not very friendly from the beginning. I ordered the soup and a street taco. The soup was alright but the street taco was great. The waiter didnt check our salsa or our drinks till we had gotten our food and were nearly finished. Overall Texas Mexican food is 100% better.

Food is very good, however the staff is less than desirable. Our first time in to eat we had a young man who wasnt the best waiter, but the food was so delicious we decided to give it another try. The second time we went in for dinner our waitress could only say yes and no in English and could barely understand what we wanted to order, she was very rude and truthfully didnt leave a good taste in our mouths, we havent been back.

I have now tried the Carmel location 3 different times, hoping service would improve, but it did not. The food at each of the locations is awesome, and I think Cancun has the best margaritas in town. The service at the Carmel location, however, is very slow and simply not good. I used to live closer to the location at 86th and Ditch road, and I guess I will continue to drive back to that one.

Today wasnt my first visit here, I think Ive been twice before but today was the first time I chose to go here personally. Not familiar with the menu I just went with the first burrito I found on the menu, it was the wet burrito. I can not say enough about how delicious it was! Filled with chicken and shrimp all covered with melted cheese. #AbsolutelyDelicious

Had a great experience from the moment I walked in until leaving. Not one bad thing to say. I walked in 45 mins before closing and I was seated right away and had rinks and food sighing the next 15 mins. The food was beyond tasty! I will be coming back at least once a week! Great drinks, chips and salsa were perfect and the food impressed me. Very very good!

Careless preparation and I was served obviously OLD and near spoiled Special served by a waiter who clearly did not give a damn what he placed on the table, prepared by a cook who, if he had tasted it, should have thrown it out. I felt ill for days afte eating less than half a meal..NEVER Again will I go through the doors of this dump. NO STAR Rating

First off service was pretty bad. They were not friendly and acted as if we were a hassle to serve. The food tasted good and was more tex mex than "authentic" Mexican food. The sweet tea tasted like it had been made a week ago (coming from a Texan). Overall I might give it another chance to redeem themselves but I would be reluctant to do so.
