This used to be a really good Chinese buffet. This time around- not so great. We were seated and served beverages promptly. The buffet looked and smelled appetizing. The main reason we come here is for the seafood. For around $20 bucks a person its not usually a bad deal with snow crab and clams, lobster, abalone, shrimp dishes and oysters to choose from. Also, fresh cooked steak, for those of you that like that. I took snow crab clusters and steamed little neck clams for my main dish. The crab legs were a struggle to eat as they seemed to be overcooked. The long part of the leg shell wanted to bend in half without breaking. Its supposed to snap cleanly in order to pull the whole piece of crab out. This did not happen with any of the subsequent batches either. Also, I took a good look at the crab legs and they did not look very healthy. They looked like they were seconds and not prime crab. There were barnacles, stains and spots on them. You know, the ones they throw away on the Deadliest Catch or use for other purposes other than steaming. The clams did not seem to be cooked all the way and some of them appeared to have been forced open. They were not hot and steamy like they should have been but lukewarm. Ive definitely had better from this place . I did find some spicy shrimp that was pretty good in order to fill up since I had such a hard time getting any crab out of the crab legs and not trusting the clams to be the best. I had a couple of pretty good Chinese donuts for dessert. The rest of the desserts left a lot to be desired with hard as a rock macaroons , little tiny pieces of different flavored cakes, which were not very good and Jell-O and pudding. Out of the fresh fruit, the pineapple and the Kiwi were not ripe and the grapes had seeds in them. You would think for a $20 buffet they could afford seedless. Also, the grapes were loose but the little tiny stems were still in the grape. They didnt even bother to remove those. In order for me to ever come back here they need to fix the seafood problems. In my opinion they need to revamp the buffet and try some different desserts and other dishes. They serve the same thing all the time .

BEWARE FAKE REVIEWS FROM STAFF!!!! If you like customer service avoid this place, the food isnt good, wife rushed to the bathroom after 2 bites of the sushi. It made her very sick. When I went to speak with the managent they were very rude. What made the experience bad was the treatment from management. Note: I dont leave bad reviews, especially if the management makes an effort to make things right. ++++++++++++++++++++UPDATE++++++++++++++++++++ UPDATE: Thats great, blame my wife for over eating, very classy. She had 2 bites when she fell ill, I took 1 bite and spit the food out in a napkin, I have class unlike the people who run your business. You wanted to charge me 2 dinner price($50 plus), I requested to be charged at a minimum 1 dinner, after spending 10 mins speaking with management they finally agreed. Final price for a terribly time $26 something I handed $30 and walked away, when my wife finally left the bathroom. My wife was in the bathroom vomiting, the entire time I spent talking to management, which is the only reason why I even wasted 10 mins with management. Avoid this place, go to hooters, located across from this place, they have better customer service. Which in a lot of time makes up for the food!!!

I for years with my family enjoyed the dining at Crazy Buffet. My mother loved the place prior to her death. I took my new wife last night and was extremely let down. Are they under new ownership? Were was the "Zagats Award" winning food or service? Last night we arrived shortly after nine just to see that they had already closed the Hibachi Grill, which is like the main reason for me since I dont care for Sushi. The food, that was available was awful. To tell you the truth I find better food at a much better price at Golden Coral. And no Golden Coral does not have the ambiance that Crazy Buffet attempts to display, but it does not have me running back and forth to the restroom all night like Crazy Buffet did. Guys What the hell Happened?

I had only been here once several years ago on my birthday and thought it was great so when a friend came in from out of town I thought what a great place to go on his birthday. So I took him last week. I was so disappointed. They did not have half the variety as last time.. What they did have was undercooked, cold and they did not fill up low to empty trays... Very unappetizing. There were hardly any desserts and the chef was not cooking to order as previously mentioned. They did however have a nice sushi bar if that is what you are into. For the high price they charge there much better places to go for far less a price and much better food. I will never go back.Thought it was awful.

Food ok, shusi is fresh but staff is horrible and THIS IS THE RACIST RESTAURANT I BEEN TOO IN MY ENTIRE LIFE! Just because u lood hispanic even tho you speak english and basically born here, they put you in a separate room with all hispanic and african american people while all the rest of the american (white) and their own ethnic are sitting in a complete different room away from us i felt very uncomfortable not because i was around my people but for them to even categorized us like that like if we were some kind of animals but guess what we are all humans, I DONT RECOMMEND THEM AT ALL IM DISGUSTED waste of my money and time thank you for nothing!!!!

This place is a little dirty, but the nigiri is surprisingly fresh and they offer a large range of sushi rolls. The oysters are okay, they tasted a little not-fresh to me, but the lobster looked well cooked and flavored. The miso soup is excellent, as is the bacon-wrapped shrimp. Bathrooms are pretty clean, and the furnishings in the buffet line region of the restaurant are stylish. The servers can be a little irritable, and the green tea ice cream tastes more like vanilla with green coloring and a tiny splash of tea flavor, but still good. Everyone will be able to find something they like here, if theyre not turned off by the slight dirtiness.

Ive been dining here for years. Never really had a problem until Aug 4. I was already there for 15 minutes when I went for another round. I noticed a young women(Rn) who was very upset. She yelled "hello" just enough to gets the workers attention. I took noticed and looked at where she was pointing. There was a adult roach on the roll sushi! I was disgusted. Ive never seen anything like that. She left immediately and I left soon after. I didnt draw attention to myself because I didnt need more stress in my day. Im sorry to say, I will never return. Be warned! Eat at your own caution. I dont Ill be eating sushi in general for a long time now.

3-7-2014. Went today and found food delicious, fresh and a great variety well prepared. For a Chinese Buffet they had the largest shrimp to peel and eat. The variety of the sushi was better than most. They pace what they put out so it does not stand too long in the warmers and also the sushi they pace what is offer. Not a problem at all. Very lovely walking into restaurant with the Coye(sp) fish in a pond outside the door. Crazy Buffet is kept clean and recommend it and would go back again. Did not give it five stars as feel that tea should be included in price and also little cups available for the sauce for the shrimp and mussels.
