By The Way: ir is now called THE LOCAL. Dive bar with a Chef. Cozy, divey, clean, oval counter top with bartenders in center makes for great conversational bar when there arent excellent musicians performing. Menu is creative and most often delicious. Good selection of beers.

Great location, beautiful ride to get there. Unique place to go. However, no real drink specials, especially mixed drinks. Pricing themselves out of business drink wise.
