Very easy to miss this underground bar as youll need to walk down an outdoor staircase towards a nondescript door but once you go inside, youll find a bunch of nook and crannies that would likely meet the needs of any type of crowd. The space is large and broken up into individual areas that each have their own charm, whether it be a gaming room with a pool table and tvs or a small nook with a bunch of books for a more intimate setting. Came here after work during a weekday where the crowd was more manageable but I know it can get a bit crowded during the weekends so get there early.

I really like 675 bar. It is totally quirky and set up to feel like you are in a trippy version of someones basement. there are tons of quirky nooks and crannies with different decor. Horse statue anyone? Many of the smaller rooms have board games to play as well- just in case you cant keep the convo going with your companions. They have many cocktails to choose from with rather fun names like The Moustache or April Affair. To pair with your drinks they offer a menu of dips and sliders for the average eater to chocolate covered bacon for the more adventurous.

This basement space has a chill look and feel. But - as with any bar/lounge the crowd, management and music make a big difference. In the case of this place its unfortunately a bit Velveeta - yes cheesy...They have the standard meat packing district self-important bouncers, they play loud dance music when no one is dancing and trying to mingle and talk, and their prices seem to be ever increasing. Ive been to several friends birthdays here and generally dont last long because of cheese level...Its a shame because the space has so much potential.

AVOID FOR EVENTS, they will promise you the world but once youre there they will turn down your requests because they dont want to mess with the vibe. Just one of the things they messed up on, they promised a microphone and to turn down the music, and then decided they didnt want to do that once our party had arrived. The bartenders tend to be aware of their heavy pour, had a few complaints that they would purposely pour doubles and charge you for it and then refuse to take it back when you never requested a double.

An unfailingly solid option amid a sea of douchebaggery in the Meatpacking District. The sexy, subterranean space has some cool nooks where you can camp out, though the service staff seemingly forgot about our party on a recent visit. The cocktails arent mind blowing but the do a fine job and the bar snacks also do the job. The only unpleasant time to come is when the room is packed - but if thats the case just walk out and head to one of the other bazillion watering holes on these cobblestone streets.

This is a great after work bar. Unless theres a huge line of people outside (which tends to happen on weekend nights), you wouldnt notice this place. Inside is full of exposed brick, candle light, and many rooms with whimsical furnishings, including a foosball table, party Jenga, and a library room. The cocktails are artisanal and change each season, yet usually cost no more than $12 apiece. My recent favorite was the brown sugar margarita! So sad its been discontinued for now!

I had my birthday party here a couple of years ago and had a blast but it was really stressful. A line forms early at 675 bar on a Saturday night and it can take forever to get into the bar. However, if you can get your party in here, its a lot of fun. There are a lot of different kinds of rooms and the decor is really homey. Drinks are good. The best way to secure a good spot is probably to get here early and eat a small meal here before/while getting drinks.

675 Bar is in a cool cave-like space that I knew in its previous life as V Bar. Seating is scattered and eclectic, like you might find in someones basement. The beer selection is quite unimaginative and limited, which surprised me. There are games available to play, if youre into that sort of thing. Service is friendly and attuned to your needs. We were there for after work drinks after they just opened; I imagine it gets quite busy at night.

Visted this bar on Saturday evening. The drinks were overpriced and the bouncer acted like there was a major demand for entry when a queue didnt exist. When attempting a conversation about the size of our group, the line manager started to throw his hands up and ran away from our group trying to explain that he was attempting to do us a huge favor and help us. I wouldnt recommend this bar. There are much better places to spend your money.

Nice little ambiance in this basement bar. Difficult to find, but once you do this hidden bar is packed with some great tunes and relaxing atmosphere. Very spacious, you have access to many different nooks (couch areas) in which to sit and enjoy a few drinks and appetizers with friends. The drinks are expensive but then again you get something worth it. I would def come back and get a couple of drinks.

I would have to say the 3 times Ive been to Troy have been on Fridays or Saturdays and have always had a blast. The music is perfect because the DJs have a lot of range where people can dance to. It may get crowded at times for an individuals liking and drinks may be a bit pricey but other than that they have arcade games in the corner and cozy dim lit party rooms for birthday RSVPs.

Great spot to come if youre hanging around Chelsea. The entrance looks sketchy at first but its much better once you get in. Dont be fooled by promoters trying to get you in. No cover and dont believe the "drinks on me thing" after midnight. Music was pretty good and played mostly hip-hop with a good number of dance-able pop songs as well. Will come back when Im out in the area again.

I have been going to this bar since 2009 when it was called 675. The music used to be great and as far as i remember, it would be packed on weekends. It has been 2 consecutive Fridays when it is completely dead at 2am. The new decor is great, but the music and the uniforms suck. Please bring back what it used to be. Sexy cocktail waitresses, great pop and hip hop music, PLEASE...

DO NOT GO TO THIS BAR IF YOU HAVE ANYTHING OTHER THAN A US DRIVING LICENCE ID!!! I had organised birthday drinks here but am not American and was refused because I only had my countrys driving licence and not my passport. Who carries their passport around on a Friday night out??? Ridiculous rule that it totally offensive to non-Americans. Rude staff. Waste of time.

The environment is a combination of bar, hole in the wall and your parents basement. If you get to 675 bar early enough to occupy one of their rooms, it is reminiscent of your parents basement including the shag carpet and wood paneling. The drinks are decently priced there is always a good sized crowd. A nice place with no cover. Thats all you can ask for.

I really like this place. They have different rooms with different video games foosball boardgames pool table, etc. And all of those are free. Its a cool place to chill out relax have a few drinks with friends and listen to good music. The djay was excellent. The ambience is very dark and basementy. If you will. But, it IS in a basement. And it works. 4 stars.
