Completely authentic. A lot of heart. The food has slipped a tiny bit since my first review a year ago, but its still worth a visit. Like eating dinner at my Aunts house although no pierogi will ever match hers. Good polish beer is very cheap and the portions are very big so the beer helps. Prepare to buy some genuine Polish meats, kebasy, or something from a huge array of packages that are all in Polish. These people are the real thing and this place is the real thing. Its surely worth a visit.

I love this place, they have a great selection of Polish food. I live in the area and is very convenient for me to buy all the Polish food I like and used to get when I went to Greenpoint, NYC. They are under a new management, which brought in a bigger and fresher selection of produce. I just wish they were open on Sundays during the winter.

Not so sure about the new owners. I was there with a friend and we sat ourselves down and waited. We waited and played Crazy Eights. We left since the owners were not interested in serving us. My friend goes there all the time and brings others with her but the new are not very friendly.
