Had to change my rating. Initially I gave this vendor 5 stars because their cupcakes are out of this world. I read reviews elsewhere that complained about the poor customer service and rude owner. I went there once, there were 2 men there, both polite, ordered a cupcake, and was thrilled. My husband ordered half a dozen cupcakes for my birthday a few weeks ago, dealt with a gentleman, had no issues and again we were pleased. Today he ordered 2 dozen cupcakes for my nieces 16th birthday this weekend, spoke with a woman and she was incredibly rude. My husband is very laid back, so for him to call me after and tell me how poorly he was treated, and that she told him what he was getting rather than letting him choose is HUGE. He asked for pink cupcakes, she said wed get pink and yellow because, "thats what Easter is and theyll have bunnies and eggs on them." He told her it was for my nieces birthday, not Easter and she told him to ask for a sign when he picked them up. She told him what times he could get them. He agreed between 8-12 and she warned not to come before 8 (totally unnecessary, and condescending.) In the end I called back, spoke with a man and was able to fix the order to be all pink (which is what we asked for in the first place) and get roses on them instead of bunnies. This should not have been so difficult, and should not have taken 2 calls. There was no reason to be so rude. Im not sure well go back again. Its too bad too. The cupcakes really are spectacular.

I dont write reviews unless Im completely floored good or bad by an establishment. This bakery, unfortunately, has the worst product Ive ever had in my life. Perhaps Im picky because I myself am a baker, but their breads, pies, and cupcakes are not ready for prime time. Not at all. The folks who think this product is good must have never been to any other bakery before in their lives. I was astounded by the high prices and the terrible quality/taste of everything I purchased from the pies to the baguette which didnt have any salt and was improperly leavened. $35 got me very little in the way of product and a lot in the way of disgust. Shame too, its a cute place. Ovens of France is so much better and just down the road. Youll find baked goods made by a professional there for the same price and youll actually be able to eat it.

i had to call this bakery today, so google i did, and had to laugh at the reviews... not one negative reviewer said, "when i called/went back to complain they told me too bad (or whatever)so ill never go there again!!" ...twice in the past 5 years my husband did just that (after having been countless times)... they were genuinely apologetic and well compensated the mishap with a fresher product. i am baffled when someone who has something nasty to say doesnt go to the source. & why in the world would a reviewer go repeatedly if they were so displeased. id go there more often myself, but i am on a budget (in finance and in calories)& am much MUCH more of a donut girl! but i got my husband a cake... he can write a review once he samples it!

This bakery is the finest in the area. And Ive been to bakery pastry shops all over the country and Europe and was even in a relationship with a top notch baker who ran her own place. Flour Gardens pies cakes breads and cookies are all top shelf as is the personnel. I dont write many reviews but when I read a few negative reviews ( to my disbelief) I had to write something because of how superior I feel this bakery is. The negative reviewers mustve been hired by some competing bakery in the area. Keep up the good work Flour Garden. Youre the best!!

Was there with an old lady that I take care of just few weeks ago. The lady was very very rude and gave us an impression that were waisting her time. Ill never ever come in here, not in the million years!

very rude owner The store was out of banana tea breads and when I asked for one the owner went downstairs and came up with one that she said was from the freezer! It was solid cold and stale.

I have never been disappointed with anything from the Flour Garden bakery, I come all the way from New York to have their DELICIOUS cupcakes, and the frosting is just the best!

I LOVE the pies at Flour Garden! And so do my foodie freinds! Strawberry Rhubarb is divine! Pecan pie makes me go"Oh my god!" at each bite.
