The Captain
Pros: Great flavors, food options, and service Cons: They do not clean the fat off their meat, and a bit pricey for this type of establishment. An average bowl with quac will run you about $11, which is a bit much all things considered. However they do have great recipes for their items. The main issue is that none of the Chipotle chains clean the fat off their meat... You end up spitting out a third of it, which beyond being gross, is a gigantic waste of money. I would bump this to a 4 star review if they fixed this; 5 stars if they charged a reasonable price around $8. They used to be somewhere around that price, but theyve steadily price gouged over the last few years.

Service was decent. Staff is quick with the orders and the upkeep of the dining area. There are 5 containers for utensils, but they all have forks in it so I have to ask for a spoon every time I order a rice bowl. The rice is a little on the hard side. Would enjoy the food more if the rice was a bit more soft. The salsa is not consistently flavored. One day the mild can be a bit more spicy than another day or a bit more sour than usual. Minus 1 star for food quality and minus 1 star for overall staff friendliness.

The one time I have gone here was a good experience. Loved the food, I have no complaints there at all. I had the burrito with steak and everything else to go with it. The service was fast and friendly, the dining room was very clean, mens restroom was super clean, and the only drawback for me was the air conditioning was blowing way too cold inside and it was even pretty warm outside that day. I was shivering while eating and just wanted to hurry up to get out of the cold restaurant.

Honestly, Im gonna give it the benefit of the doubt and assume the girl was new. Placed my online order at 6:42 pm for 8:45 pm, its now 9:08 pm at the time of writing and still waiting. Messed up my burritos by making them into bowls and then ran out of ingredients. What didnt make me mad was that, but the fact that yall didnt even work on it till I asked and you guys had 2 hours thats what kinda irritated me and I consider myself one of the nicer customers. At least a free drink?

Only giving this place two stars because there wasnt a problem with the food or the wait but the service. The girl who rang up our food was very rude and then didnt charge us for all of the items and practically yelled at my mother when she went to grab the unpaid item. My mom hadnt realized she hadnt been charged or she would have said something. This isnt the first time one of their employees was rude. Wont be returning.

Worse Chipotle Ive ever been to. Service in lax. Ive ordered online to go and every time I go to the front to pick up the cashier continues to ring people in line. Why bother having on order online option if I am going to be in line with everyone else? I am not sure who the manager is for this store but customer service needs serious help. The food isnt put together that great neither.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I took my eyes off of the one making my burrito for 2 seconds, while paying and dealing with the rude cashier. Got to my car, (good thing I looked before I drove off) and my burrito was thrown together, barely wrapped, insides coming out of the wrapping. I took it back in for a refund and the manager was unapologetic. DEFINITELY WILL NOT BE RETURNING!!

Went for the first time since theyve opened and the chicken bowl was a.b.s.o.l.u.t.e.l.y horrid. The brown rice had a burnt, overcooked taste to it. The chicken had bits of unchewable cartilage... Not at all the taste Im used to. Never had my order go bad at the Chipotles in downtown Riverside. Never going to this location again. Sorry!

It was very busy when I got here but everyone was on board. Line went by really quick. There was a little bit of a mess when I arrived however as soon as the line went down I saw staff cleaning up sweeping and picking up trays. Theres plenty of setting outdoor and some indoor.

We have been here twice, the first visit was great the second experience was the worst. The whole line of employees literally put the complete opposite of what we asked for on our order... Well be sticking to the downtown Riverside location from now on... Haha
