Another reviewer wrote that the prices are actually reasonable, which was so true. They could charge more just based on the quality of the fare...how cool that they dont. My family does not live in SoCal but we have roots there. Youre lucky if a resident cuz you can go there anytime. Not only is the food great at the Peacock Cafe, but the view is of a landscape that exists nowhere else. Thank you LA Arboretum.

I dine at the Peacock Cafe regularly and have developed a severe addiction to their simple but delicious menu. The food is fresh and prepared to order. The staff is always pleasant. I enjoy taking friends to lunch there and their consistent surprise is always gratifying. Perhaps we are not accustomed to dining in paradise? Try it, youll have the most relaxing meal of your life!

Had a nice bite to eat here today. Also nicely air conditioned inside to get out of the heat. I had a tuna melt and fries which were very tasty!!!!!

The food is okay, think cafeteria but reasonable. Best place in the gardens to sit under Cherry blossoms, have tea and enjoy the floors and fauna.
