Choosing Anodyne as our wedding venue was the best decision that we made throughout this entire wedding process. After having a hiccup with another venue being unresponsive, we literally just took a chance and walked into Anodyne requesting information. Lindsay (event coordinator) was available for us to talk to and went through what Anodyne offers and ideas to fit our needs. After leaving my now husband and I literally thought to ourselves "should we just go in and give the payment now?" They had us sold! Lindsay really knows what she is talking about and its very clear that she loves her job. Throughout my planning process she would check in with me, give advice, help me find vendors, and gave words of encouragement while we were stressed. I felt like I got a wedding planner with the cost of the venue and it was totally worth it. During the actual wedding Lindsay and the rest of the Anodyne staff did everything they possibly could to make sure our day went PERFECT. The building really speaks for itself but the service, coffee, drinks, and the amount of things we could customize really makes this a cost effective venue. I have already suggested Anodyne to other couples looking for venues. Thank you, Anodyne, for making our wedding day exactly what we wanted!

Good little hangout for a cup of coffee or a tasty pastry. The coffee is often made well, not too watered down, not burnt; however, the portions may be a little pricey. The environment is amazing, with a wide range of people doing a wide range of activities at any given moment. Various different shows and events take place throughout the week, making it more than just a coffee place. The music can sometimes get a little loud, and it is sometimes too crowded for convince.

Great coffee and I like the chill, rustic, ambiance. I enjoy visiting coffee shops primarily for the atmosphere and Anodyne has a relaxing atmosphere fit for both stopping by to do work and events. The one significant drawback is the seating - the seats are terribly uncomfortable, so events become less enjoyable and if I ever plan to do more than 30 minutes of work I chose any place but Anodyne.

The location is great, the coffee is even better. The staff is very helpful, should you want to know about the beans they have for sale. Their pour over coffee is top notch. I often grab the old coffee bags at the bottom of the stairs. After checking out the Third Ward shops, its worth the short drive over to Anodyne, for a glass of wine or late cup of coffee.

My favorite coffee in Milwaukee. Excellent roasts for drip brew coffee and espresso drinks. They now serve a variety of small plate foods. I dont think they serve full meals. They have a variety of beers on tap. Live music almost every weekend, with a usual cover charge. Otherwise, a quiet meeting place during the week with large tables for large work-groups.

I visited from Chicago, and heard about the place from friends in the area. The atmosphere was very calming, the service was top notch, the employees were quite friendly, and the coffee was INCREDIBLE. I highly recommend this place if you are ever in Milwaukee. If youre FROM Milwaukee, then I suggest you find time to have a great cup of coffee there.

The space is huge and the coffee is absolutely solid. The best espresso in MKE, for my money. The soup is better than the sandwiches, tho both make a good light lunch. The baked goods are the weak point, but the slices of cake are generous and probably shouldnt be consumed in one sitting (though that has never stopped me).

Best coffee shop in the Milwaukee Area. Offering specialty coffee drinks seasonally and year round along with daily brewed coffee. Friendly staff, but not over the top. Also very resourceful about coffee and brewing. Anodyne provides a nice ambiance for a study session, catching up with friends, or a first semi-date.

I love Anodyne. I spend quite a bit of time here and am always extremely productive on whatever I am working on. In addition, they have great teas and, from what my sister tells me, great coffee. Try also have a nice selection of craft beers and wine as well as two ciders (McKenzies is my favorite!)

A great place to get some work done or just hang out. Plenty of space, tables and outlets. The coffee, tea, and baked pastries are great too! The wi-fi is better than most coffee shops Ive been to. The music isnt too loud, but if you need total silence to work, you might want to bring headphones.

My favorite place to sit down and have coffee and do some work. When you buy something there, they give you a code for 2 hours of Wi-Fi access, which is normally plenty for me. If you are looking to camp out all day, it may not be the place for you, but I would recommend their coffee any day.

Love this place. Anodyne has the best coffee in Milwaukee, and this new space is perfect for them. This facility is much larger than the shop on KK, it also has a stage and tasting room. You can rent the facility for events as well. It is an awesome place to chill on a Sunday morning.

My favorite coffee shop EVER. The baristas are so kind and personable, the space is excellent for spreading out to get work done, but still feels cozy, and the coffee/food tastes good. Great natural light. Ive never felt more comfortable somewhere outside of home.

My first time visiting this location. Its so big! A charming Mattie greeted me at the register, and she helped me select an amazing muffin from Honeypie. This place is full of surprises! Nice schedule of live music on Friday and Saturday nights, too!

Awesome, unique coffee shop with full bar service and amazing bakery! Live events (most recent was an astrophysics presentation) are a fairly regular occurrence here. Great prices and quality of everything. Staff is super friendly and efficient.

Wonderful studying atmosphere. They also have a lot of cool event that are worth checking out. Also, they usually have vegan baked goods! Just ask them to point them out.
