Not sure what the big deal with Colectivo is. The coffee is good but not the best in town, the food is mediocre and overpriced and the baked goods and breads look nice but have a commercial mass production quality to them. The sandwiches have nothing in them, the Burritos almost seem like theyre just heated up Amys burritos. I think this place survives off of a reputation they built 15 years ago, the problem is theyve used city money and indoctrinated locals to push out vastly superior artisan quality bakeries and cafes. Colectivo is a cancer on any neighborhood they exist in. This is no longer a local small business, this the corporate monster theyve always tried to avoid becoming. Its very sad to see, its like Star Wars if Darth Vader killed Luke

I really like this coffee shop. It is big, has good coffee and a great bakery. My only complaint is the music they play. Im not a fan of their music choice, nor do I agree with how loud it is played. When I go there and look around, most people are studying, reading quietly, or enjoying conversation. When I need to raise my voice to talk over music, I no longer feel like it is an intimate coffee shop environment. If the music choice was a calmer, quieter sound, I would have given five stars. I love everything from the bakery, and their coffee is a Milwaukean must.

Good coffee, very good food, the atmosphere of this place is like none other. Inside youll find a typical high end coffee shop with a good selection of food. However, theres an attached bakery where you can watch the bakers work. My daughters love it. Outdoors is even better. They have swinging picnic tables, yes swinging. A waterfall rubber ducky run that kids can play with on warm days. Also a partially indoor patio if you dont want to be totally outside. I dont hand out 5-star ratings like candy, but this place really is a 5-star cafe.

Not the best service, arrogance runs rampant at night....10/17, a young man with glasses working refused to greet, then attempted to tell the group I was with that he knows exactly what coffee we will like, after trying it, we stated it wasnt the best...his response was simply that the Honduras coffee is the staple for everyone to like....then said that we can leave if we dont like....will definitely follow up with a manager regarding this guy

Nice urban cafe location. Located at an intersection heavy with restaurants, this Colectivo is my 2nd favorite thus far (I really like their lakefront location, which is #1). Excellent espresso, decent baked goods, and the space is shared with an extensive Troubadour bakery operation. Friendly staff, and a roomy interior round things out.

One of the coolest places in MKE. Its an icon. I love the passion they put into the design of their new buildings. Its not a normal coffee shop. Its an experience. I love the outdoor booth/swings. It is my go-to place for a casual date with my wife. Bring a little card game, get a delicious coffee and a snack.

If its busy, get drip coffee only. The barista bar moves at a glacial speed. Or else your food will be ready before your drink, youll have time to get in line again to buy coffee beans, eat your food, and then pick up your drink on your way out. My experience only. Food was good, service friendly.

The great coffee is only the beginning. They serve a lovely selection of delicious foods, you can dine, chat, or just hang out on two floors, or outside on a huge bricked patio. They also have an artisan bakery! They also have their own parking lot, and I love the neighborhood.

Pretty good! Coffee was good more of a bitter aftertaste (Not my favorite but if you life that!) Peanut butter muffin was so good!!!!!! Best part is the atmosphere! Great seating options indoor and out. Good vibes and the place smells so great between the coffee and bakery :)

Trendy coffee shop in the Bay View area. They have a cool duck race water stream on the outside of the building complete with rubber ducks to race. Also the outside area has cool swinging tables and seats connected. The coffee is awesome but the prices are a little high.

My girlfriend and I are from out of town, and we were visiting to find a place in the area to eventually move. Beautiful interior and every barista we encountered (after ordering a couple times lol) was very friendly and inviting! We will definitely be returning.

We absolutely love Colectivo Coffee! We tried a few different dishes and each one was better than the last. Theres also a lake next to it so its the perfect place for a date, having lunch and then walking around the lake. We also really loved their coffee !

Had a cinnamon roll. Probably ask my calories fit the day, but it was worth it. Met with another person for business reasons, which was great. We were able to conduct business without interruption. I saw people on laptops, so I assume they have wi-fi.

This location has their fresh bakery items. Ive noticed that their smoothies are slightly different from location to location and they use way too much juice as the base in this one, however their espresso shakes are usually more coffee-y for sure

A really cool Collectivo location with lots of cool outdoor seating and some kind of water saving roof. The best part about this particular location: Fridays and Saturdays they have donuts. Awesome risen donuts, the maple glaze is to die for.

Our favorite coffee shop and our favorite Collectivo store. We love the breakfast food, but the coffee is great! At this particular Collectivo you can sit and watch the bakers working on all of the tasty goods (the kids love this too)

Beautiful and spacious space, great place to work, and also kid friendly. My Americano was pretty good but not amazing. The food was stellar - fresh, inventive, flavorful. This Chicagoan will be back next time Im in town.

Awesome place to hang out. Warm and cozy in the winter with big comfy chairs upstairs. In the summer they open the windows upstairs and you can feel the breeze as you look out over KK while sipping your coffee.

Good stuff. Just like any other collectivo in town, but with a much cooler exterior design. Sometimes youll run across a batista who knows their tea well enough to make me a London fog (my personal favorite).

Coffee is good to go. Tables are usually occupied by one student so if you want to sit and eat you have to take the secondary seating in high chairs. I stopped getting the sandwiches as they have bacon on them.

I love Colectivo. The baked oatmeal is my favorite. Also they always have a great selection on bakery. Bay View location has a bakery inside where you can get fresh made bread and watch it being made.

A true Milwaukee establishment. Love the building, the coffee, the staff, the atmosphere, the neighborhood and everything else! Their small business markets in the parking lot are a cant miss event!

Nice building, great coffee, friendly staff. Its definitely my favorite place to study in Bay View. Their wifi can be a little undependable, so consider brining a hotspot with you if you have one.
