Staying in Marshfield Wisconsin tonight. Spent a good amount of time checking out restaurant reviews and decided on Lumberyard. When we arrived I was disappointed to find it a hotel restaurant, which is usually not a good sign. Could not have been more wrong. Trip Advisor has it ranked as the number 2 restaurant in Marshfield for a good reason. Our service was excellent from Kendal who made recommendations and answered all our questions. Diane had the Shrimp plate grilled and was very pleased with the results. Myself, I had the Texas burger with added brisket, cheddar and red onion. The brisket was chopped and had good flavor and the sauce was just enough to taste but the real winner was the burger itself. Very flavorful beef patty handmade with that great Wisconsin cheddar made this one of the best Ive had, and I do love my burgers. Highly recommended!

We found this place after searching for food in Marshfield after our first choice restaurant was too busy, and we didnt want to wait. Im very glad that the other establishment was so busy, as we had a fantastic time at the Lumberyard. Waitstaff was extremely friendly, with great suggestions. Food was fantastic, and priced well also. Only detracted one star, as the "ambiance" was a bit odd. It felt like an old family cafe was converted into a sports bar, I havent been to too many bar and grills with whiteish floors and walls and large windows - However, thats just a small detraction from the overall experience. We definitely will go back the next time we go to Marshfield.

Great service, food and prices. I eat here at least once to twice a week if not more and I love it, the food is excellent and you get what you pay for. They have a great selection for food options for everyone including gluten free, best options in town. The portions are worth the price which prices are great for the amount you get. Staff is very friendly and the owner is awesome. An amazing place and I always recommend it!

The worst dining experience in a long time! Our food took 40 minutes to come out and then my food was cold. There was nothing in our order that should have taken that long. The bar prices are way overpriced for central WI. I come to the adjacent motel often and will never again eat at this place

The food is good and if you like sports they have alot of TVs. If you need a room for the night they also have them. My husband stayed two different times, he must have liked it or he wouldnt have stayed the second time. ILL like to go again to the bar with my friend. Thats it. Kathy

Great service and a delicious creative menu! I had breakfast and really enjoyed their version of a breakfast Monte Cristo. My companion had their loaded hash browns and they were different and equally wonderful.

Hailey, our waitress, was beyond awesome! Can she be cloned! The chicken dumpling soup was as good as grandmas, the bloody Marys were spicy and the best Ive ever had and the yard boss burger was very good.

Yep, you need to have the pretzel and jalapeno cheese dip. Excellent! Place was very busy but the servers seemed to be keeping up. If you sit at the bar, ask Taylor for his "key lime pie" drink. Yummy!

Meat skillet would have been great if the cheese was real. Scrambled eggs were a high quality powder. My wife had French Toast, and it was amazing. Good service. Comfortable place. Decent prices.
