Upon walking in, my friend and I awkwardly stood at the front counter for about 2 minutes before anyone acknowledged us. The girl at the front counter took my friends order and then began working on his sandwich before even taking taking my order. A couple minutes later, with a few people now behind me in line, she asked another employee who hadnt taken orders before to work the register and got irritated when he asked questions about how to do process a sale. This staff has clearly not been trained in customer service etiquette. Both my friend and I got chicken sandwiches (the farmhouse and the garlic chicken) that seemed to be nothing more than microwave chicken strips with toppings. His sandwich was flavorless. Mine simply had a massive amount of garlic in the sauce, and while it wasnt as bad as my friends, it didnt really impress me. My friend even had a few bites of his sandwich that were difficult to eat because the chicken was fatty and tough. We chose this place because of its positive reviews. But after having the food and experiencing the customer service, I can only surmise that either they were solicited, or the place has declined in recent months. I hate to rag on a small business like this, but this place needs to improve if it wants to stay open.

Very Affordable, Variety, Fresh, Delicious! A small delightful cafe w/ espresso. Very affordable. The owner has put a lot of thought into making the atmosphere feel fresh and comfortable. They offer a wide selection of snacks, drinks, breakfast and lunch options all day. The staff are friendly. My favorite food is sandwiches and I can be pretty picky so it means something when I say this place makes excellent sandwiches! I recommend the Italian. The ingredients are very fresh, very good. I cant say enough how great this place is. I love it! Can be hard to find if you dont know where to look. Its on the ground floor of the Tacoma Mall Office Building across the parking lot from Nordstroms. Its easiest to reach from the back entrance to the building. It has green curtains in the windows

Friendly staff, and a good selection of flexible food options. It tastes fresh and flavourful. The owner is passionate about delivering a good experience, though you may feel off-put by the casual attitude if youre used to Starbucks. Theyre happy to offer samples so you know what youre ordering. Its tucked away next to the mall and a little hard to find, so its pretty empty. Theres also a constant buzzing of fans and refrigeration units inside, which doesnt help the atmosphere. Otherwise, the place looks and feels like a bright little cafe. Im glad I found a better option than the mall Starbucks, and Ill definitely be coming back for more.

This place is great, the best sandwiches I have had. It is not in the most easy to find location but it is worth it and I highly recommend visiting. The owner of the store has always been there when I go in and he has given me several samples that definitely have influenced my decision. I loved the Garlic Chicken Sandwich.

Ive eaten here twice now. They have byfar the best smoothies Ive ever tasted and their sandwiches put other cafe sandwiches to shame. The staff is friendly in the most genuine way. This cafe may well end up being my favorite place to eat.
