Ethan youve done it again. Youve taken something simple and found a way to make it delicious! Couple friends and I came across this place looking for a new spot to eat some pizza and drink so beer and boy were we glad we did! The atmosphere had a rustic warm feel yet modern feel. I love the quaint home town feel. Barn yard style lighting just made it feel welcoming. I love the sounds of people chattering and pizza being made in the background. Service was awesome! I cant remember her name but she was very personable and took her time out to joke around with us too which is always nice. The pizza - Id say top 5 Ive ever had. Clean hand tossed pizza - fresh ingredients. Not dripping with grease. Perfect crispy texture with just the right amount of chewy to the bread. We had the "Staple and Fancy" which consisted of pepperoni and pineapple and jalapenos. Each slice had each ingredient meticulously set to ensure every slice had the same amount of toppings, creating the perfect balance of flavor in every bite. Guilty pleasures of eating too much pizza is a problem I enjoy having! Ill be back for more sooner than later!!!

First we waited an hour after ordering, watched several pizzas go in and out of oven, never ours. During this time were wondering where our pizza is. No waitress ever stops by. Finally a pizza brought over, wrong kind. Instead of an apology which we should have had for the wait just said she would make another one. We were ok and started eating the one brought, waitress comes over and says were being rude about it and that because we are shes not gonna comp our pizza, that she messed up, which we never asked her to do. We got up and left, no matter what customers should not be treated like this. Im middle aged and have never been treated horrible by a waitress. Will never go to this place again.

Primo pizza w/prosciutto instead of salami was pretty good, but the experience was a nightmare. They differentiate self-serve seating and "table service seating" which wasnt clear until a server told us we couldnt sit down in the "table service" section after ordering. (There were no other open seats, and there is an easy-to-miss empty chalkboard waitlist for table service where they expect you to write your own name on) Make it simple by either making everything table service or everything self serve. They have sharp bolts sticking out of the table facing the best stools which I accidentally sliced my hand on. They also want your email address before letting you use WiFi.

If you have a craving for NY style pizza, this is the place to go. The crust is crispy, the toppings are original, and the slices are big. The moment you walk to the door, you can smell the pizza from outside and the scent already reminded me of NY, which was a good sign. Inside, its somewhat dimly lit and you can watch them prepare the dough and bake pizzas in the oven. My friends and I tried four different toppings split between two different sized pizzas. They put two toppings on each half with no problem. The pizzas themselves were delicious. If I lived closer to this area, I would stop by more often.

Pros: * Open late * Friendly staff * Spacious area to sit * Good value per price Cons: * Pizza isnt great I really wanted to rate this higher. Giving it three stars causes a slight pang of distress. I did list four positive statements and only one negative one. So how can I justify three stars? Well, sadly the one negative is a critical one. The pizza is edible, but just not delicious. If youre in Ballard, and hungry late on a weekday night, you may run into me here. Ill be the guy hoping the employees dont read Google reviews and take them personally.

My girlfriend and I are in from Seattle, WA and were looking for a good bite our first night in town. Although skeptical, we decided on Little Star, even though we eat enough pizza in the Windy City. Holy cow are we happy we took the plunge. The hour wait on a Tuesday at 7 were well worth it when we had our pizza.Ordered a little star with sausage and it was incredible.I cant think of a better slice of pizza Ive ever had - Lou Nationalism and Giordano are great but should take a few notes from these west coast geniuses.

I ordered a slice with jalapeño and pineapple as toppings...LITTLE DID I KNOW that they "dont do toppings on slices" and brought me two cups, one with jalapeños and one with pineapple that I had to put on myself.. Would have been SUPER nice to know that when I ordered but the girl couldnt work the register so I guess what do you expect. After I expressed my distaste I was treated very rudely and made the rest of my visit very uncomfortable all because Im a girl that just wants some toppings on her pizza.

Great fat pizza, get their sausage Salume and all the ingredients are top notch. Space is limited, but you can always grab a cheap huge slice to go. Love the chop salad too, BTW. Oh, and they have my new favorite beer. Mongoose Super Goose, if you like IPA, its fabu. Not rating service as Im going to leave that up to you for pizza you order at the register... Do not get the Moses without checking whats in it. Youll be really surprised.

The pizza is not always good and never great. If you go here in the early afternoon, theyll sell you pizza left over from the day before. Dominos is better. Really. I mean Dominos is decent these days and its always freshly made. Still, Ethan Stowell should do better. But I keep going here because nobody else in Ballard sells pizza by the slice. Also, their salads are good and the beer selection is always on point.

The pizza here is some of the worst Ive had. Bland Bland Bland. Ive had gas station pizza that was tastier than the cardboard they serve here. But I get it, they cater to yuppies & hipsters (same thing), so as long as its a "cool & trendy" place to be seen, well, thats all that matters. If youre just wanting to be in a trendy spot, then yeah, def do it. If youre actually wanting good pizza, uhm, dont do it.

Fantastic and caring staff, wonderful customer service and great pizza. This unique restaurant fits right in on the Ballard streets and is a gorgeous setting to enjoy a great priced, hot, yummy pizza. The employees were kind, and offered running advice to us tourists. When they missed the basil request on our pizza, they made up for it with a delicious cheesecake and sincere apologies. Check them out!

The decor is casual yet cool, and its great on a breezy warm night when they keep the front open. They play great music and the staff are very friendly. Oh....and the pizza is DELICIOUS. Friends and I got the funghi, carbonara, and margherita pizzas, all of which were great. Fairly priced for the quality and quantity of the product. I will definitely be coming back here.

Decent pizza. Not the best. The music is routinely too loud to talk. I like their pepperoni, but its not enough to bring me back. Beer selection. Meh. I tell ya what really sucks - their new policy of charging $3 to split a pizza. Wtf? No one does this. Literally no one. Guess this place wont be getting any more of my money.
