Ive ordered delivery from Palermo dozens of times over the past three years. I know what menu items to get, and what to stay away from. Their all day breakfast (great for hangovers!), pizza, calzones, salads and sandwiches are generally very good. Their salad dressings are bad - they either taste like straight oil or mayo - so I use my own. The pasta dishes are a miss as often as they are a hit; many that Ive tried are over sauced, under or over cooked, and poorly seasoned. These are the dishes that I DO recommend: House special breakfast (the bacon is crazy good), meatball parmigiana sandwich on white bread (wheat is too chewy) with extra marinara (a must), beets and goat cheese salad, chocolate cannoli (amazing), any pizza, and any calzone. Prices are great, delivery is quick and FREE, and their customer service is excellent. I will no doubt keep ordering from Palermo as long as I live in Ballard!

My family has been going to Palermo since we moved here in 2012, we loved the warmth the serviced offered and fast delivery. Last night I was extrememly disappointed in Palermo. We order and over an hour later the delivery had still not arrived, we live 3 blocks away. My husband called and they had no even left yet. 15 mins. later they called to get into the building and they were at the wrong side (I had left instructions on which side to enter) so we had to go to the other building to get our order. My husband talked to the delivery man and he said that it was his fault that he went to the wrong side, we asked why the pizzas were completly cold and he explained it was cold outside. I am very upset with Palermo, we will not be returning.

Have you ever been in love?...with a sandwich? Palermos,in Ballard, meatball sub is what other meatball subs aspire to be.While there are many enjoyable dishes here, a cozy atmosphere for a cold night, warm and friendly staff, it is this glorious sandwich that shines. Soft, fresh bread cradles the perfect amount of meatballs, wonderful sauce, and a plush blanket of mozzarella. It has performed magic for hangovers, sadness, or just plain hunger. And WHAAA?? They deliver??? Holy s#$%- you can experience this magnificence on your couch, half way in a pajama coma, while watching your exs HBO-go account. This is just awesome.Thank you, Palermo.Until next time.

My husband and I ate here on vacation. It was amazing! We had the Napolitana, it was soooo good!! Even though it was awhile ago, we still talk about the pizza, and cant wait till we visit them again. The owner actually sat down and talked to us while we waited for our food, his success story is amazing, and just added to the enjoyment of the whole experience. I definitely recommend Palermo, it isnt overpriced for the quality and taste, and makes it easy to support smaller businesses. :)

This place is TASTY! They have an odd but awesome mix of Italian food mingled with other ethnic varieties. I ordered the tortellacci stuffed with shrimp/lobster and it was superb. Also tried some of my girlfriends Gorgonzola/prosciutto pasta and was also superb. Couldnt figure out why this place wasnt busier on a Friday night but I heard they do a lot of delivery. Will be back for sure next time in Seattle!

I have tried almost every dish at this place and love them all. Its homemade Italian at its best. The location is small and cozy plus the staff is very friendly. Its definitely where we take any friends and family visiting from out of state. The pollo al cosentina is my favorite! Update: They just started carrying a gluten-free pizza crust as well as some pasta dishes as well!

I had no idea I even LIKED Caesar salad, much less would fall in love with one. They use heaps of quality chicken breast piled high with crunchy spicy croutons. Their dressing is so nice and mild that I can really enjoy the salads savory goodness. One of my guilty pleasures is to order one of these things to-go and tear it up in front of the TV. Thanks Palermo!

The breakfast menu is a mixture of Mediterranean and American favorites and there are plenty of special touches to set it apart from most other places. The pancakes are served with real maple syrup and the coffee comes with fresh cream. (They also have wifi, BTW.) The only thing that stops us from coming here more often is the late opening time: 9am on weekends.

This place is great and I havent been disappointed with anything Ive had here. The pesto linguine dish is excellent and my girlfriend thinks their veggie hoagie is also really good! Only spent around $20 after tip, so I was happy with the prices. I recommend this to anyone interested in eating italian in Ballard.

Ive eaten here or had delivery several times since I moved to Ballard. Great service. I particularly love the calzones. Fantastic! But the pizza and other pasta dishes are always delicious and filling. Whenever I call for delivery they have it at my door in less time than they say it will take. Love Palermo.

Ordered garlic crust pizza, first order was wrong so it got sent back. The second one was the same but COVERED in grease. There was a pool of grease underneath the entire pizza and they would not let me speak to the manager or who was cooking the food. As a PIZZA joint that is really unacceptable.

Great Food. Fresh Salads. LOVE the lamb on Friday and Saturday nights. Best pizzas in my opinion. They even have Gluten Free pizza, best GF pizza we have had in the city. 1/2 price glasses of wine on Tuesday and Thursday too. Love this place and the staff are very nice as well.

The food is good, but the service is horrible, unless you like to be ignored. Each time I come here the server will seat you, get you drinks ten go off and chat until the food is up. Once the food is served back to chatting. I will not be back, the food is not that good.

The 4-cheese pizza was poor quality. It looked, tasted and felt like a cheap frozen pizza that was badly reheated. The base was undercooked, soft and flavourless. The topping was over cooked. Close to inedible. Ive had worse, but rarely. Never going back.

Fresh food. Great service. Wonderfully priced. Family feel. Great food variety. Amazing mediterranean appetizer platter. Dont forget to check out the breakfast. It is now our family "go-to" spot in Ballard for celebrations and nights on the town.

Had the Lamb Gyro here. Was pretty good, the Lamb stood on its own but felt it could have used a little more distinction. The service was excellent, the prices are decent, and the food is great! This will become a go to location for us!

Best pizza in Ballard! Best service in Ballard, including delivery. We order from them all the time and the food is always delicious and fast. I also order delivery breakfast from them from time to time and this is also incredible.

This is good pizza in a cozy sit down place. I love the "Soprano" pizza. It has a number of different meats - a small pizza is a full meal for me. Tax and tip included this place is about 16 dollars - although I just drink water.

Both pizza and pasta are terrific. I tried the pollo alla cosentina tonight based on another review and it is amazing! I rarely write reviews but this really is special and deserves the promotion. I might have a new addiction
