A total disappointment! We went to PNW Best Fish House to buy fresh seafood for dinner. We thought we would have lunch while we were there. When we ordered our food we were told it would be a 20-30 minute wait. We went next door to buy our fresh seafood. It was high quality, but REALLY high priced. We got some nice halibut and scallops in spite of the borderline ridiculous prices. Then we WAITED and WAITED and WAITED some more for our food order. After 55 minutes, we went to check on it and were told that "we had a lot of orders and had to cook for the pub next door also." WE REALLY DONT CARE. There were only two of us in our party and we ordered a scallop basket and a coconut prawn basket. The kitchen is TINY. I can understand why they get so far behind, even though its basic quickly made fried food. 1. Give people a REALISTIC estimate of how long it will take to receive their food. 2. Dont say youre too busy to give good service. 3. Offer SOME sort of compensation, (a partial refund, a full refund, or a coupon) when you KNOW how awful your service is. 4. Add on to your kitchen and make it the appropriate size for the number of tables you serve. We had to wait so long for our lunch that we will not be able to cook the expensive fresh seafood we purchased for dinner because we wont be hungry enough to have dinner tonight. To top it off, the prepared food that we waited an hour for wasnt that good. The fries were cold and it was expensive. The tab was $25 for our 2 baskets. Absolutely ridiculous, and a shame because we really wanted to fall in love with this place.

Love coming to 3 peaks often(5stars). Came in for lunch hour though, was 1 of 5 people in here, took 45 minutes to get my food and was late back to work for a lunch I got to go. Ladies behind me (group of 4 got food first) but 3 peaks gave me a free beer while waiting for nwbfc(northwest best fish co). Btw I only ordered clan strips to go. EDIT I had to down this to 1 Star. I got the clam strips again during a lunch break at work. I called in the order at 2:24, they said "10 minutes on your order" I got there and was in line to pay after a group of 5. They got their food before I did at 2:59. THE FOOD WAS GOOD, but they started making my order WHEN I arrived. They said they were busy, but 3 peaks had no one in it next door and there were only 9 people including myself in the seating area and 4 employees on staff there. This is a drop in the fryer food, I worked in a restaurant, Im not a fool, and I didnt even ask for fries.

I recently moved from the Seattle area and I was fortunate to live near Gemini Seafood, which is a very good fish market in the area. I was concerned when I moved down here to the Vancouver area that I would not be able to match the quality without having to drive into Portland. I have shopped around a lot, hit every seafood market in the area, including those in Portland and Chucks, and I would say that Pacific NW Best is, by far, the best. It matches what I was used to getting in Seattle. If you want a nice piece of fish, or some other treat from the sea, I would suggest that you pay them a visit. They are a little out of the way but they are worth the trip.

We stop in often for lunch or dinner, or just to buy some seafood. They have a nice simple menu with great selection. Love the clam chowder, and the calamari sandwich and have them frequently. This time we also tried the scallop and chips and fish and chips. Everything was great and love to sit on the patio and eat. We also purchased some oysters to take away and put on the BBQ. Everything was awesome and fairly priced. Love this place, recommend it and will come back.

I buy fish here because they have the freshest fish in Clark County and a large selection. I dont understand people who expect an independent shop, such as this providing a top-of-the-line product, to compete with "Walmart prices"! Besides having the best clam chowder I have ever eaten (and I have been to Boston many times) the staff is always friendly and they take especially good care of regular customers.

Dont order Halibut fish tacos. you might get one of the two tacos that come with the order with some fish and the other taco will have a bacon strip size fish with over filled cold slaw and a cold soft tortilla that come soggy as heck. Waited 45 minutes for the order. Had a bad experience with there food on my 1 of 3 trips I made there. Clam chowder was awesome but the skimping of food trumps the taste.

My husband and I always enjoy our meals at the PNWBFC. There is no comparison between farmed fish and this fresh fish! You get what you pay for- it is always delicious. I like to try something different each time and I am not disappointed. We take home halibut and salmon from the market for the freezer at home-you cant beat it. Tastes so wonderful grilled on the EGG!!

Love, love, love this place! I get the Fish Tacos made with Mahi, wife gets halibut fish and chips, and kids get coconut shrimp and chips. Tartar sauce is fantastic and their french fries are phenomenal! We usually sit in 3 Peaks Tap Room and they place your order and bring it over! Great service, great food, and great prices!

The best place in Clark county for amazing fish dishes. From the blackened salmon salad to the fish or shrimp tacos you will be full and happy. Indoor and outdoor seating make it comfortable year round. The wine cellar next door shares the menu, kitchen, and parking lot so dont be surprised if its hard to get a parking spot.

I bought fresh fish.... We will see.... Specifically drove out to get CRAB CAKES. In the past I have split them and fried them for an appetizer.... Well.... The recipe has been changed! TOO many veggies. They fall apart and WE could NOT taste the crab! $ 14.99 a lb. for peppers & celery.....

What a pleasant surprise to find better fish here than in Portland! Everything is very fresh. Nice atmosphere for a meal. However they have not fixed their espresso machine since 2012, so they need to do that to get the 5th star from me.

Fantastic seafood restaurant. Dont go expecting a dining experience, it is a step above a food cart. The food is why you go. Everything is made when you order, no frozen stuff here. The clam strips were huge and excellent.

The clam chowder here is by far the best I have had in Clark County and Portland. Although it is served blistering hot, the bread bowl is amazing and I highly recommend eating here. Also, the clam strips are excellent.

Waited over 30 minutes for food. Tasted good, but a bit too expensive. If I had known it would take so long to get the food, I would have gone somewhere else to eat. Not worth the wait.
