Generally poor experience which is strange because we really liked their other location. When we walked in there was no one to seat us, instead the staff stood about 10 feet away talking amongst themselves. We waved when we made eye contact but they did not a knowledge us and instead just kept talking. Once we were seated the hostess told us our server would be out "later." Once our server came out he was polite and helpful even making recommendations. My wife ordered one of her favorites from another location and I ordered what the waiter recommended. When the food came out mine was fine if bland and slightly more acrid than an enchilada should be. My wifes plate looked nothing like the other place and instead of her light cream sauce and a healthy dose of shredded cheese as described in the menu there was no shredded cheese and instead there was a huge amount of white cheese sauce. My wife cant eat large amounts of cream based sauces so we called the waiter over. His attitude changed immediately he was obviously upset, took the plate contemptuously and mumbled something rude about us in Spanish about us under his breath (surprise for him, we speak spanish). He than went a couple of steps away to a co-worker and in Spanish again (beautiful language Spanish which is why my wife and I both spent years studying it) insulted us loudly saying to his friend that our complaints were "sh !t." His freind replied with a vulgar support for his position. Thankfully they comped the bad plate without us asking, which was nice. Later, when we were leaving the server tried very hard to be civil but it was a thin show and having heard what they said earlier we were not buying it. Pros: they took the plate of incorrectly prepared food back and did not charge us for it without us asking. Cons: Food was not as described, the server made it clear he resented us rejecting the plate and mumbled rude things under his breath, staff talked rudely about us and used vulgar language about us within ear shot, no one made an effort to seat us when we walked in. Even the plate that looked like it was what I ordered was not very good at all.

As someone originally from Arizona with strong opinions about what Mexican food should taste like I came here with low expectations. Im happy to report that this place surprisingly impressed me. Great salsa - good enough to eat by itself honestly. Im also very picky with chili rellanos, but again I was impressed with the flavor and quality of the one I ordered. Ive been here a few times and have yet to be disappointed. They also offer a wide selection of margaritas, which are just as good as their food. Ill definitely keep coming back here.

5-19-2015 my wife and I hhad dinner at this restaurant and it was not anywhere up to the asteca standard of excellence. I have, for years bragged about their arros con pollo but tonight that dish was really bad. The chicken which has always been very good and fresh tasted old The sauce was almost like soup and the rice looked like oatmeal. This was not at all like the meal that I used to get.

If you are with a young family might look a bit sketchy as the bar area is to he left, but it is completely separate from the dining room on the right. Excellent service, clean atmosphere, the portions are big! i had the dos amigos for $13 and could barely finish it! I am not a connoisseur of mexican food but i know what i like and i loved this. Also note the iced tea here is unsweetened.

Gone here for years because its pretty consistent. My husband always has carne asada. We like the soups, kids like the kids menu & burgers as well as desserts of course. Its not really big, I think its a smaller Aztecs, still our go-to place. We have a favorite server- the other reason we pretty much dont eat out anywhere else except drive thru...this place is basically it

Avoid on a Friday night. Clearly more busy than they can handle. Last time, a supposed 15 minute wait was almost 40 for a carry out pickup. This time, order with bean and cheese burrito was literally nothing but cheese, and sides were missing. Food tastes fine, assuming you get what you ordered.

Very good food, good price. Service is horrible, took order and that was the end of the service, cleaned off the table and 15 minutes later we demanded for the check. I will never go back to this place. I will spend my money elsewhere where the service is better .

Not the prettiest place but good Mexican food at a decent price. Staff doesnt speak English very well, but the basic communication gets across just fine. Nothing to jump up and down about but its good food for a quick bite.

The food had no flavor, but when I looked up at the ceiling, I wished I hadnt tasted it at all. The vents were covered in dirty dust, which made me wonder what the kitchen looks like. We love the Azteca in Mukilteo.

Love going to Aztec in Mill Creek for lunch.. It is almost half the price as dinner AND my favourite dish is wonderful.. Arroz con Polo and still is good for another meal when I bring leftovers home...

Great food and even better staff! We frequent this Azteca and the food is very consistent. The staff is friendly and the food comes quickly. There is typically not even a wait for a table.

Hair in food and brought/charged for a dinner item when I ordered off the lunch menu. The meal with the hair was quickly replaced but the $$ dispute not resolved.

Massive servings and great environment. Found the food a bit bland and they didnt have hot salsa. I find that strange for a place the serves hispanic food.

Service @ the bar was whack. Overcharged me fir drinks after the bartender messed up our drink order. Never comin back----stick to Lynnwood Azteca.
