We were there for lunch - Food was Ok - Papa Rellena was not heated all the way through (meat in center was cold). - Service, not so much either. I was mostly disappointed with the lack of care of food handling. First off, the food goes from the kitchen to the store counter where other customers are buying beer and sodas, etc. The retail clerk then delivers the food to the table. Meanwhile, he handles money, stocks shelves, helps retail customers, etc, without washing his hands at all. After we finished lunch, we decided to get a tub of ice cream to take home. He directed us to the frozen case, we got the tub, and while walking to the register, we realized the tub was half eaten. It turns out that the fridge that has retail items, also has the restaurant ice cream (which you cant tell when you are shopping). This, in my book, is disgusting. If i have the ice cream at the restaurant, I wonder how many other store customers have opened the tub, smelled it, or touched it, or breathed on it...or ???? Restaurant food should not be available for everyone to touch. I am Peruvian...and I do not approve of these restaurant practices of food service. I do not want my food to be delivered to the front register, and I do not want retail customers to view, touch or tamper with food that is going to be served to me. I like food, but unlike my health more.

I had the ceviche the first time I went and went back for the jalea. Both dishes were delicious with generous portion sizes. The chicha morada was really good as well. Amongst all that goodness the sauces stood out to leave the biggest impression on me. Green, yellow and red (all homemade) were each so delicious and Ive been talking about them to anyone that will listen. They are what inspired me to write this (my first on here) review. I swear, I really think the restaurant ought to sell the sauces on their own on the side. Id eat them with all sorts of things. One thing to note is that they have some spiciness to them (if you are sensitive to that).

Hands down the best peruvian chicken Ive ever tasted. This is definitely a hidden gem. Ive tried multiple peruvian chicken restaurants from DC to San Diego and this spot has them all beat. The flavors are throughout the entire meat of the chicken with a nice amount of spice. The owner let us know that their old oven in just to get the flavor right and I can tell you they are doing it right! If youre looking for peruvian chicken, you need to stop here!

I came in and was pleasantly surprised by Los Pollos Hermanos! My mother is from Peru and has 11 brothers and sisters so Peruvian food has always been part of my life. I ordered the Seco De Res and Papa La Huancaina. Both were amazing and delicious and reminded me of my abuelitas and mothers cooking. Brian was an amazing host and great to talk to. If youre looking for some REAL and AUTHENTIC Peruvian food, give it a try...you wont be disappointed!!!

The food was great, portion sizes large, great owner. Being from just south of Miami, FL , I have had my fair share of central and south American food. Im also a chef and a food snob. This place is legit in every way. Make it a point to come here and try everything. I promise you will not be disappointed (unless the only things you know about Hispanic food are Taco bell or Tex Mex style cantinas).

Totally surprised and delighted. The causas appetizer (mashed potatoes with chicken salad) is amazing, the fried rice was excellent (we went chicken). And the tres leches cake was better than any Ive had in Seattle. Well be back again and again now that we know. Best Peruvian food Ive had outside of Peru.

Wow, what a great meal! We had several appetizers and the chicken and it was all great. I especially looooooved the Rellenos(?) thing that was like filled mashed potatoes that was fried. Also, the sauces were great - especially the green one.

The market was closed during its posted hours, which was frustrating, as the place looked promising. Ill give them another try the next time Im in the area. It is near a large restaurant supply shop, so good for a combined visit.

The best "Pollo a la Brasa" Ive had in the Seattle area, no contest. The owner was friendly and the service was great. If you are looking for Peruvian food you definitely have to stop by (and this is coming from a Peruvian).

Great roast chicken, beans, and fair Peruvian tamale (dont expect a Mexican tamale; theyre different. The menu is limited until the chef returns from Peru - will return when he does to try other options
