So I did not want to return here after my experience a year and half ago, but my mom got out of the St. Johns Hospital and they said she should eat some soup and so at 3pm on a Monday, this was one of the only options in Longview. We 3 different people wait on us (I hate the term "wait on", but they certainly werent helping us) and had the worst services I have ever had and my mom said she has never had such bad service either. No one said hello or greeted us. The first thing anyone said to us was "what do you want to drink" and then it was "what do you want to eat" Not what can we get you today, not hello. Just an unfriendly whaddya want. I asked the waitress if the turkey on the sandwiches was deli turkey or not and she told me it was not - It was lie, it was totally deli turkey. I also asked if their bread was homemade, it may have been cooked there but it tasted like frozen dough from the grocery store and was burnt. My mom ordered the vegetable soup. It was cold and could not be called soup or vegetable- it was pasta ringlets with a little broth and a couple carrots and green beans. I would have sent it back to have it heated, but the waitress never returned to ask if we needed anything or if everything was okay (maybe because she lied about the turkey). We were also never offered refills on our drinks - which means they are charging $2.50 for a half glass of pepsi topped off with ice. Save you money, time and respect of Longview and go somewhere else. If it is the last place in Longview to go out and eat at, I will not go there.

Country Folks Deli used to be our FAVORITE plasce to do lunch, but I have become increasingly disappointed in the SERVICE! The last 3 times we went there, the food was great, but wrong order (ie: asked for no tomatoes, got them, asked for grilled sandwich, came back ungrilled, ordered full sandwich, got half.) Last time we went we sat for 45 mins before we got our plain turkey sandwiches when I counted 2 other couples eating there, and the table next to us showed up 20 mins after us and were eating pasta before we got our sandwiches...That might be our last visit.....

The food is good and decently priced. I go there about twice a month and I always have good service except for this one waitress who has longer brown curly hair who looks to be in her late 20s or early 30s. She takes your order and brings your food but thats about all you see of her until you leave out the back door and see her smoking in the alley. This happens yhe dozen or times I have had her as my waitress. Ive seen her in there for years and it really surprises me she still has a job there. I cant be the only one who feels this way

While the deli is down stairs, known as the country folks deli. Upstairs (Bistro) is where some culinary night time magic takes place. Perfect blend of seasoning, flavors, and freshness. Wild salmon Rangoon, blacken chicken mac & cheese, hearts of romain Cesar salad, and pepper and salt calamari, all had destinctive flavors. Waitress (Trina) was awesome and extremly knowledgeable of operations. Chance encounter, I am sure to result in many return visits. Entrees for sure next time.

Terrible service, waitress walked by us 3 times, waited on her friends right beside us, left came back waitd on another couple that arrived after us and then another another couple that just came in. I flagged her down waiving my menu and she finally came over. She said she was sorry to keep us waiting. I said that she waited on others before us that came in later. She then coped an attitude. And ignored us the rest of the time. We wont be back when shes working.

Just sat down to try this nice looking place for the first time tonight. After being ignored for 15 min and have the server take orders from two couples that came in after me I complained to her. I told her she had seated two people before me and before I could say more she said, "Sorry but Im going to refuse service to you!" Then walks off!! Wth?? Never going back here again, rudest service ever! I have never been treated this bad and Ive been in some real dives

Travelling from out of state and our friends who live in Kelso brought us here for lunch. The simple, country decor was perfect. As was the food. I ordered the turkey & cranberry sandwich (#6 on the menu) with regular fries and my daughter ordered the american cheeseburger. The turkey & cranberry sandwich is the best I have ever tasted. They are huge so ordered the half portion. Service was great! Overall great food and service.

The food is always good. I like to try different items whenever possible. The service is hit and miss depending on your server and how busy they are, but usually we get good service. Only once was there an issue with a coupon that was worded badly. The waitress did not handle it well. But overall I would recommend CFD as one of the best sit-down places in town where you get a lot for the price. Their food is excellent.

This place is pretty good. Im a fan of the chicken pesto sandwich, super yummy! The club sandwich is pretty good too, you can never eat the whole thing. Try the homestyle fries too, yum! It is always surprisingly busy compared to other restaurants in the area, but you never seem to have to wait for a seat.

From the cow in the window to the country/hearty fare, this place is a gem. Im in crazy love with the Reuben sandwiches here, and the side pasta salad is almost good enough to lunch on by itself. Great staff, reasonable pricing -- this is where I bring my out of town guests. (To meet the cow, natch.) :D

I love all the food I have gotten at this deli. The STORE is open late,,however, the DELI section is only open until 3pm or something. This webpage is a little misleading and disappointing to drive 14 miles and find the deli is actually closed.

We love eating here for lunch or a dinner. I like the french dip and home made fries, the wife loves the veggie sandwich and the pasta salad. Great service. We like to pick up food to go and they take care of us everytime.

Burgers from frozen pre-formed patties. Like the ones you can buy at the grocery store. Ive been to enough cheapskate company picnics to recognize that hard pressed shap, texture, and taste. Absolutely shameful!

Great place for lunch. They have a turkey sandwich thats like eating Thanksgiving between two slices of homemade bread. So good! Chicken salad is also great along with pretty much every soup on the menu.

Country folks is one of my favorite places. Upstairs they often have live music and a wine club which is super cool. Great location with lots of parking in back.
