Im at my friends house and he wanted me to order a pizza from south lake. He also wanted it to have topping I do not like at all. When I went to order online I got an idea. "What if I told them to make a dinosaur out of the mushrooms."30 short minutes after the order was placed, the delivery man arrived and gave us the pizza. I quickly brought it to the kitchen to open it and see what was on it. A massive dinosaur made of mushrooms right across the middle. A note was put in sharpie on the box saying, "Dear Dinosaur guys, I tried. He looked better before the oven :( Love, The Artist" I cant image what the dinosaur looked like before the oven as it was done very well, especially for being ordered at 8pm on a Saturday night. After we finished marveling at the masterpiece, we served up the pizza. The first thing I noticed was the crust, which was slightly buttered but not too little. Then the sauce. Oh man the sauce. It was wonderful, it looked like it was made in store that evening. They couldve dipped that pizza in a toilet and it would still taste good. Would recommend any day of the week. Open later on weekends and Friday.

Their food is awesome! Unfortunately they are extremely sketchy with their prices. The 2 medium 2 topping pizzas for $16 plus tax come out to $26 if you get the toppings. They charge you for each topping! The deal that I got today was a large pizza with 2 toppings, bbq wings and a 2 liter soda for $20. They charged me $25 because I chose not to get the 2 liter soda, then charged me $1.50 for the topping! I LOVE your food guys, but I wont be ordering any more from you. Your just way to sketchy with your prices. I feel like your just making each price up as you go along. Particularly when I have ordered your Tuesday Special several weeks in a row and gotten different prices each week. As I said before, your food is awesome. But I am going to stick with a place where I can get a consistent price. No amount of awesome food can offset knowing what your actually going to pay for it.

What a JOKE!! Called to order pizza but the message said they were busy and to go online to order. Ordered $50 worth of pizzas at 6:50 and got the confirmation code email. Called an hour later to see what was up. Surfer dude answered with "Pizza, hold" and put me on hold. 5 minutes later he answered "Pizza". I explained we hadnt got our pies, reviewed the confirmation number and order and was assured the order was on its way. "They driver will be there any minute..." Now its 9 and we had to call again. Same "Pizza, hold!" and wait. Surfer dude WAS the manager. He couldnt find our order (even though he was the same guy that reviewed it from the last call!) No explanations. No apologies. No caring whatsoever. This place sucks. NEVER ordering here again... Headed to Contos Pizza. Better Pizza and I know they wont use my order as rolling papers...

First off we have been customers of South lake pizza for years. With that being said, I completely agree with "Todd C" about the decline in quality and service mostly quality. South Lake Pizza is the most expensive pizza in the area but I didnt mind knowing that my family and I were getting what we paid for. I am sad to say that these days Papa Johns, Saharas or even Alfys is more consistent and less expensive. I hate to compare chain restaurants to South Lake but it is what it is. Within the last year our order has been either wrong, burnt or cold. I spoke with the manager Miguel of one month tonight about yet another messed up order. He was apologetic and I felt like he was sincere. I believe that tonights order will in fact be the last. I will look at these reviews in one years time to see if things have changed.

Ordered $65 worth of pizza had to call multiple times because of late delivery (ordered at 6 didnt get the pie till past 8, was re assured the pizza was on its way and that they were short drivers. Finally pizza arrives and the owner is delivering and I asked him what the deal was with being over an hour late and he gives me the response they are short drivers again. So I ask why they couldnt call to at least let us know it would be late and he puts the pizza on the hood of my car and says we wont charge you for the pizza and we wont deliver here again and proceeds to burnout in my drive way.. this is also the third time we have ordered and received considerably late orders.. the pizza is good but the service is a joke along with the owner and his childish attitude.

We order from South Lake Pizza about once a month and are usually satisfied. We ordered a 3 topping large pizza with extra sauce and thin crust. When I opened the box and look at the pizza I though "am I on candid camera?" This crust was so thin and floppy it could not support the pizza and we had to use forks. I would compare the crust to the texture and density of a crepe and I not joking. Dont ever order the thin crust. It was a big disappointment, and if i wanted this i would have just ordered toppings with cheese and no crust. Whats the point?

If I could zero stars. Last time our order (1 medium pizza) took 55 minutes and we decided to give them a second chance. Sitting here as I write this waiting on my order. We ordered at 6:17. (Again 1 medium pizza) we were told our order would be delivered at 7:20. (Annoying for a Thursday evening but ok......) called just now at 7:55 and was told "its out for delivery, will be there in 10-15 minutes." Almost TWO hours to make and deliver one medium pizza? On a Thursday night? Not a Friday or Saturday or Seahawks Sunday. Wont be ordering from here again.

Went here 1 time cuz reviews looked good. We ordered 2 pizzas and loved them both. We went back 2nd time just to be sure and what do you know, Great pizza. So Service was Great they make there own dough and price is fare. I give 5 stars since its a local Pizza shop with great service and great Food. Price could go down a little but thats it. It was over all a (Im Loving it experience) I will be going back for more and im done with PAPA Johns, Pizza hut Dominos etc.... Hands down best Pizza north of seattle.

One of the best pizzas around. Its not bland chain store pizza like Papa Murphys, Dominos, and Pizza Hut, its not the "crackers and cheese" wood fired stuff thats all the craze, and its definitely not the bizarre pizza with all the toppings under the cheese that Seattle people seem to think is okiley donkey. This is flavorful, savory, hearty, fresh and unique pizza that will take you back to the days when the local pizza place was not a boring carbon copy or franchise. Worth the wait, worth the price.

My wife and I ate here last night. We dont eat pizza often, and so when we do were extra critical of it. We decided to try this place out because wed had less-than-stellar experiences at some of the other local places in Lake Stevens. We are super happy we did and we feel like we found our new go-to pizza spot. We had half and half Pizza, cheese pockets, and garlic bread. All were outstanding and super reasonably priced. The dining room is nice and comfortable too. Totally recommend South Lake Pizza.
