We went there for Thanksgiving. The first indication should have been that we got a reservation with no problems only 2 days before Thanksgving, not a good sign of a sought after place. The Thanksgiving menu was sad. For $30 per person there wasnt much of an option and the main course was not the Thanksgiving meal I was hoping for. The beans were crunchy, and they had brussel sprouts that were not well cooked either, but that didnt matter cause who likes brussel sprouts. The Turkey was dry and bland. The cranberry sauce tasted like soap, and the meal didnt even include rolls or bread. The dessert was a sad little piece of pumpkin pie, and that was the only option as well. We asked for a to go box for the pie and the server acted like they didnt want him to do that, but he said he would anyways. Why should it matter if we eat dessert there or at home, we paid for it. Our server was great. We should have walked in, paid him a nice tip and found better food someplace else and saved ourselves money and a gross Thanksgiving. Next year I will cook or we will find a buffet where we have lots of options, which is what Thanksgiving is all about.

Ive been here multiple times over the last 6-months and every time I go, I wonder why I went. The food is sort of meh, the portions are small and the prices are high. Im not sure why everyone loves this place so much, other than the ambience. Although aging, the Beach Cafe wins for being at the water in posh Carillon Point. My experiences have been for lunch and later in the evening dining. Service is mediocre, especially later in the evening at the bar. Happy hour is not very happy with the bartender who wishes she were somewhere else and seems annoyed that we sat at a table rather than the bar. After 3 or 4 experiences like this, Ive written the place off. Lunch is a bit better dining experience, but the menu seems limited in scope and the food is somewhat bland to me. I havent been there in 3-4 months, so perhaps things have changed. Definitely a great place for a date-night and they validate parking. Perhaps its better for breakfast?

The view instantly won my heart. Looking for a great relaxed date night? The Beach Cafe is your place! They have wonderful outdoor seating and if you prefer to sit inside, they have great huge bay windows to enjoy the view on a little bit chillier visits. The chef presented the Butternut Squash Soup first, one word, inspiring. It was a simply designed starter with the right amount of spice! The rest of the meal to follow was nothing but an inspiration of rapture. I am only hoping the service is a little more attentive to smaller groups! I was there at a tasting event so the servers seemed rather rushed with our group as a whole and not worried about us individually. I insist you give this place a try and you wont be disappointed! #GooglePlaces #BeachTasting

Food was overpriced. Over $10 for plain pancakes? And they were terrible. You can pay $5 for a bowl of cereal. That is absurd. The service was terrible too. They put us in the back of the cafe, next to the kitchen, when their whole restaurant was empty. We were constantly interrupted by staff asking us questions and we had no idea who our waiter even was. The bathrooms were a mess and while I was using one, I overheard several staff cursing and goofing around in the hall outside the restroom, joking about who would have to clean them. When our food finally came, items were missing from almost everyones dish. Starting the day off here was the biggest mistake of my trip. At all costs, avoid this place. There are plenty of other places to eat.

Dinner menu choices are reduced to light lunch fare. Burgers and fries mostly. Extremely overpriced. Clam chowder was good. Chopped salad was way over seasoned with pepper. Mahi Mahi was so over seasoned with pepper it was hard to tell that it was fish. The wild rice was a soggy soup. The $6 cup of tea came with multiple refills of hot water but you had to keep using the same tea bag. With every course they took away silverware and the waiter had to be chased down to get the forks back. The deserts were OK, but not outstanding. Total dinner price for 2 without drinks was $102. Did I mention that they drowned everything in pepper?

Great Great View! Lake and yachts! This thing only can be the reason to visit the place. Me personally expected more dishes based on fish and seafood due to the location and name but there were only two or so options. Food is tasty but not sofisticated. We were there for lunch and the place rather crowded so we had to wait for food to come for a while. But the view and a good company of friends compensated this drawback. Three deserts we tried to share occured to be plain. Prices are reasonable.

Great location Good food Ok service Parking attendant was rude, accused me of cheating with parking (WTF), and charged me additional parking fee. I didnt fight it because it wasnt worth my time, but I couldnt believe that such high end and beautiful place as Beach Cafe would have such unprofessional parking service. This is not acceptable, especially in Kirkland. Please do whatever is needed to fix it to provide great end-to-end customer experience.

The food and water view is amazing. Unfortunately, we had poor service. We ordered drinks and watched them sit at the bar as no one brought them to us. We couldnt find or server and didnt see him until 20 minutes later. Other servers started taking care is us and it was great. Then back to no service. The place was pretty much empty which made it more frustrating. Had to goto the bar to ask for a check.

Service was terrible, I had to get up twice to ask for service in a not-too-busy bar area. I also watched the (admittedly cute) front greeter person drop a knife on the floor while packing silverware bundles and pick it up and throw it back in the bin. Food was decent, but overpriced for the size of the portions. Definitely a place that thinks too much of itself.

How about happy hour ALL DAY?!!! Yes, its true, The Beach Cafe on the shores of Lake Washington in Kirkland has Happy Hour ALL DAY on Mondays!! And on Sundays youve got to check out their Bloody Mary Bar - its awesome! The view is GREAT and the food and service is good too! I like this place a lot as its cozy and comfortable, just right with super value!

Will always recommend this restaurant! Great location by the water and view amazing food. I reccomend the butternut squash soup, the Blackened Salmon Tacos (absolutely amazing!) and the Lazy Mans Cippiono (delicious) I dont think you could order wrong. For me the drinks were a little strong, for some this might be great to here :)

This once terrific destination has become barely better than a fast-food joint. The food and service are definately sub-standard. Not worth your time anymore. I hope that they can get it back in shape. It is a shame that this formerly wonderful restaurant has gone down-hill so far. Dont waste your time or money on this place.
