A couple weeks ago we went to a lake in the Belfair area and on our way home we were hungry so we decided to stop at the Airport Diner because I havent eaten there since I was a kid and I remembered that they had good food. Well we got there, we followed a couple in, we took our seats, because apparently you dont have to wait to be seated, well our waitress came over to give us our menus and I always ask how are you? she goes *good* and kinda throws our menus on the table and walks off. At first I didnt think anything of it maybe she was having a bad day. Well then I realized the people that we had followed in were already served water and I watched our waitress happily bring them their sodas that they ordered as we were sitting at our table still waterless and not asked what we would like to drink yet at all 10 minutes into sitting there. So finally the busboy brings us our water about 15 minutes of sitting at our table, not our waitress,and it took about 5 minutes after that for her to come and ask what we would like to drink, by that time we were already ready to order our food. The food is still very good, but never once was I asked if I needed anything, never once was I asked if I needed a refill, nothing I had to ask another waitress passing by. Honestly I feel like we were discriminated against because yes we have a lot of tattoos and we were more dressed for the lake than a restaurant but the fact of the matter is no matter how someone is dressed or how many tattoos they have you treat them the same as if they were the most professional dressed up businesslike person. Would I eat there again? yes I would but I will definitely have a discussion with the manager about this last experience we had before I go back. Also when we were brought our reciept, she didnt bother to leave a pen at all so I had to hunt down another waitress and ask for a pen so I can sign the receipt.

Dear Airport Diner: I adored the theme you have from the planes hanging from your ceiling to the planes that land outside of the windows. The service at your establishment however, could be significantly better. It took around fifteen minutes for someone to get our drinks because we were forgotten and we were only noticed by one employee. This employee put in extra time and effort to ensure us a good time. I regretfully do not remember her name but I look forward to going again on a Sunday morning so that I can enjoy her company once again. Your food is absolutely wonderful and left me full but not greasy. The cleanliness of your restaurant however, is another story. The floors were messy and looking at some of the walls made me feel queasy. Though the tables were visibly cleaned, it made me question how it was where the food was made ,considering that the dirtiest part of the restaurant ,that I could see, was outside of the kitchen doors. Thanks to your wonderful employee and delicious food, I will more than eagerly come to eat again.

Really wanted to give them five stars but.... Food was very good. Had the fish and chips fish was fantastic! Fries awesome. Serving size, ordered the three piece Alaskan cod. So much I could not finish it! Service... wow. Huge let down here. Sat at a dirty table for aprox 20! Min before table cleared and wiped down. Still had food particles on table after wipe down. It was so bad seeing all the service walking by and no one would even look our way. I actually set a timer on my phone and we were going to walk out in five more min. Yes it was busy but we seemed to be sitting at an invisible table in the middle of the restaurant! Not sure I can convince my girl friend to return but I will give them another chance. I hope we just caught them on a bad day.

This place is at the Bremerton airport, and it looks like a dive! Years ago, some friends were with us on our way to Hood Canal. We were tired and hungry. We decided to ignore our fears and stop in for a quick meal. Inside, the place is just as shady as the outside. We were worried, but we decided to stay the course; we were hungry! It turned that the food was excellent! Everything was great! After dinner, we had a fabulous dessert! Eating there has been a tradition for us for at least fifteen years. We ate there a week ago. Nothing has changed. The place still looks like a bad greasy spoon, and the food and people are still excellent!

I have been going to the Airport Diner since they opened. Maybe every couple months I go. Occasionally for breakfast, but usually for their fish and chips which is the best Ive ever had. This restaurant is filthy as the previous review said. Today is my last time of going, I almost walked out when I noticed the food and crud under the vent where my chair leg was. It was disgusting. Under the glass on the tables is dirty. The carpet is dirty. Everything about the place is outdated and really needs to be refurbished. Sadly, it has been like this for at least 5 years or more. Im done with over looking it.

Ive been going to the Airport Diner for years, pretty much just for the fish and chips and occasionally their brunch. Last couple times I have been there, the food has been as good, but it looked dirty. It could really use an update in appearance. There was food on the floor, very visible at the table we were seated at (bacon to be specific). The tables felt sticky, like that old sticky that wood gets when its old. I really hope the owners will take notice and just get things cleaned up abit. The food is very good.

The place to go for cod and chips. Batter is seasoned extremely well, which enhances the flavor of the cod. For this is I give it a 5, however, the place itself is filthy. Carpet old, worn, and blackened. Windows grossly filthy as are the tables and chairs. The glass covering the tables is only cleaned on the surface and table under glass is disgusting! Owners could easily close down for a couple of their slow days and get the place cleaned up and recarpeted. Would love to see this in the future!

This place has the small town feel, dont expect flash, sleek, or upscale dinning. This is an airport diner where you can watch ultra light planes land and take off, my twin daughter love it. The prices are about what you will would expect, the waiters wont ask you every 10 seconds how your food is or try to sell you junk, though of you do want to buy junk you can. It could use a little maintenance, but its not dirty, just a small dining experience.

went to have a nice anniversary dinner with two other couples, have been there before, fish and chips WERE good, NO MORE!!! fish was over done frys cold, new frys were not done, steak was OVER done, steak in noodles, sauce, NO STEAK to be found!!! took for ever to get meal, waitress did not clear table after salad, at least had good friends to visit with!! Will never be back, nor will any one I tell about the crappy meal
