Order from here if you want to get hustled. Apparently this place is masquerading as a vegetarian restaurant, but no one told us... We ordered three dishes for delivery: steamed dumplings, mongolian beef and sesame chicken. The filling for the dumplings was mostly cabbage, and the mongolian beef should have been called mongolian onions, but the biggest travesty was the sesame chicken. The sesame "chicken" consisted of half a container of fried balls of batter, we dissected them looking for chicken- but there wasnt ANY. To add to it, the bottom half of the container was nothing but sauce covered crispy noodles. I wouldnt order from here if I was starving to death and it was the last place in norfolk with edible food. Youre better off just flushing whatever money you were going to spend on dinner down the toilet.

I had to jot this down before I forgot but the lady was pretty rude and fast talking me over the phone. I didnt like that all... well see how long it takes my food to get here and how it tastes...updates. .. the food came in a sufficient time. But boy was the food nasty. We ordered fried chicken wings and fries/ fried rice. I think this chicken is old, its flavorless, its dry, the skin was dark, and doughy. The rice had absolutely no flavor and the fries were skinny and hard! Not even the dew from the box could help these fries moistened up...

My husband and family have eaten here for years. Recently he and I went to eat in. Old school for sure, but clean and quiet. Friendly waitress and they bring your courses out individually. Its just a nice date night, very relaxing. The egg drop soup is delicious, the egg rolls are crispy each time and I like they arent filled with red marinated meats, and the dishes are all fair size servings with really great prices. We drive from Virginia Beach, but its so much better than the fast food, burnt wok tastes that we get close to home.

I was visiting from out of town, however, Im from this area and this was the first time I ever ate there. I read the reviews, which were good, so I gave it a try. We were very pleasantly surprised to find a welcoming staff, really good food and a pleasant atmosphere. I highly recommend the Dragon Phoenix Lobster and chicken. The lobster was in a red sauce that I have never tasted before, but it was the best Chinese food sauce Ive ever eaten. The orange chicken is very good as well and the egg drop soup was tasty. I highly recommend it.

absolutely THE BEST HANDS DOWN NO COMPETITION Chinese delivery Ive had in years Im a Chinese food fanatic and have it often,most of the time is mediocre and OK but this was delicious even as cold leftovers the orange chicken was perfect with a tangy spice not mouth burning or bitter orange peel flavor like you encounter a lot of times, this is my go-to restaurant from here on out, fast delivery friendly service AMAZING food quality and quantity 5 stars is almost an insult

My husband and I order delivery from Royal Garden quite often and have yet to be disappointed. The food is fresh, delivered hot, and fairly authentic. I am a big fan of their Beef and Scallops. Their wonton soup is also a big hit in this house. I couldnt say they are "the best ever", but they offer a good menu at fair prices. We will continue to order from Royal Garden.

We live 0.1 miles away from this place and we place an order and 45 mins later we called to see if it was coming soon, and they said that it was on its way. Once it had hit an hour since the order time, we called them to cancel the order. It was ridiculous that it took that long and had to cancel it due to them not coming. We wont order from them again.

The waitress is always friendly when my girl friend and I eat in. When I get food delivered its always fast and correct. Ive tried the geral saos the lo mein and the hot and sour soup amung a bunch of other things on their menu and its always grwat. No where else can beat the lunch prices dining in. Awesome restaurant!

Good chinese food Ive only ordered delivery but so far theyve been quick, food quantity is good and quality. It tasted like they just cooked it not like its been sitting on a heat lamp. I also ordered sweet tea and the cup they give you for it is huge!
