boo stone waterbury is more like it. stopped in on sunday afternoon and was told thered be a wait for a table or we could sit at bar. 3 people working the entire joint. we sat at bar and that was our first mistake. tender ignored us for a good 10-15 mins. by the time he came over we had chosen our drinks and food so we ordered everything. drinks came ok. then the fries, which i think were from mcdonalds, but that was the last we saw of our food order. after waiting for well over 40 mins we told the tender we wanted to pay. he said, "didnt you order food?". why yes, yes we did but tired of waiting. that was the first we were informed that the kitchen was busy. he then proceeded to tell us he wasnt going to charge us for the food---the food we didnt get. gee thanks, how benevolent of you. it would have gone a very long way had the bartender acknowledged that our food was going to be late/delayed but not once did he do that. NOT impressed.

I called the Blue Stone on Tuesday night, December 23rd to inquire about the following evenings schedule being that it was Christmas Eve. The first time I called they did not answer the phone. The second time I called which was an hour later; the young man explained that yes, indeed they would be open and that it would be best to come earlier than later. I explained that we would be a party of nine so could they take a reservation. He explained that they didnt take reservations and that it would be fine if we arrived at 5:00. We did arrive at 5:00 on Christmas and the place was closed! Today, I called and asked to speak to the manager and was told that she stepped out for a while. When I asked if I could speak to the owner, I was told they werent around and was asked why I was calling. when I replied that I wanted to talk to someone about a phone call that I had had, the response was a hang up.

Ive been here 3 times. Tonight we had: Drinks: Fiddlehead IPA Allagash White Sixpoint Bengali Tiger Food: Farmstead Flatbread Pitchfork - full Barnyard Burger (bean burger) w/fries The beers were good and the best of them was the Fiddlehead IPA. The Farmstead Flatbread was a lot of bread but altogether still excellent. I get the Pitchfork salad every time because its great. Finally, the Barnyard (bean) Burger was not as good as the bean burger by MorningStar that you can get at the grocery store but everything that came with it made it good as did the fries. Next time I would skip the Barnyard (bean burger) and stick to the Fiddlehead IPA. Great experience overall and the staff was helpful and nice.

Me and my boyfriend came into the restaurant, it is cozy and the food is delicious, it was not overwhelmingly busy. Our waitress took about ten minutes to seat us and left immediately after us sitting in our seets.we waited for fifteen minutes to be waited on when she came to our table she asked us what we wanted and after my boyfriend orderd his food she turned around and started to walk away. Needless to say the waitress was the only issue here and you would most likely enjoy your experience as long as you didnt have this waitress.

We come here a lot when were here on vacation. Just know that this place is busy - not just at dinner time but 2:30 pm on a Tuesday afternoon. And theres a reason for it - the pizza is really tasty. There are specialty pizzas on the board - but you can design your own and just have what you want on it. The staff and management are laid back (this is Vermont) but weve always had good to excellent service. We bring all our guests to Blue Stone because its always been a good experience.

Ive been to Blue Stone multiple times and have never had a bad experience. They have pizza by the slice available in the back for lunch, and fantastic seasonal pizzas for dinner. These are flatbread style pizzas - and the toppings will surprise you. Some of my favorite pizzas have been: *Brussel sprouts, onions, and sweet potato *Corn, black beans, chicken, jalapenos, and hot sauce *Chicken, pepperoni, banana peppers, and hot sauce They do run a bit pricey, but are well worth it.

This is a revised review based on recent visits. We gave this restaurant 5 stars in the past. The food is still as delicious, service was perfect, but how can a restaurant remove their desserts from the menu? We liked to finish our meals there with a nice strawberry short. Maybe its our fault because we have not been there often enough, but a lack of air conditioning made us skip the very hot summer season...

Great selection of local VT craft beer. Diverse menu with some very good flatbreads. Three Pigs Flatbread was great!... my son took a bite, stopped frozen pointing at pizza, and just said "that is some good pizza!"... while still chewing with mouth half full..... I guess he could not wait to tell me!.

35-40minutes to get 2 burgers which were not blackened, they were burned. I could see what they were going for but just way too charred, fries were very, very salty and it also took 10 additional minutes to get the change from our bill. But the atmosphere is pleasant and clean. Servers were friendly.

On my first I was really impressed by the quality of the pie and service. I visited a second time with a friend and look like they changed the kitchen. Sadly the pie wasnt has good on that visit. Looks like I would need to visit a third time to sort things out. Nice craft beer selection.

Maybe I should have had the pizza.. I had the fish and chips, the fish was ok but the "tartar sauce* Im pretty sure was ranch dressing. Also no air conditioning in mid-July? Service was good but not noteworthy, decent beer selection, mostly local on draft.

We were there last week for dinner and the food and service was top notch. Our server was Shannon and she was so helpful, attentive and friendly. Just a wonderful experience. We had never been to Waterbury before but had a great time.

Had a great meal here last year, but our lunch last Thursday left me thinking otherwise. Soggy fries and undercooked pizza dough was not what I was expecting. Will definitely try again when I pass through however.

Thumbs down to the one in Waitsfield. At least tell us that your air conditioning is BROKEN before you seat us inside on a warm summer day. Let us know the wait time for outdoor seating and give us another option.

Very slow service. I sat for about 20min without getting a refill and at times we never saw an employee. The food was a little over priced. Nice place but bad service. I do not plan on eating there again!

Picked up two slices of pesto with andouille sausage and fire roasted red and green peppers. May well have been the best slice of pizza. Ever. And some phenomenal local and regional craft beers on tap!
