Superior service and food..David, the shift mgr mid afternoon was helpful with suggestions and great service. Had the Poblano Enchiladas...the creamy sauce to die for. Husband had Puffy Tacos...great! You will not leave hungry...the enchiladas and tacos stuffed full with the beef or chicken. Extensive menu selections and bar looks well stocked...will go back later in the day and try a Margarita..full bar..beer, liquor. David kept us supplied with the extremely good salsaS..yes, 3 different kinds..regular, charred and an extremely hot green one he cautioned us about. Nice ambience, outdoor patio for evening...we will be returning for lunch after HEB or meeting friends for later in the day. David will take good care of you....

When it first opened, we visited there several times the first two weeks. It was great. Now, when we order to-go, our orders have been plagued with errors... missing food, wrong food, burnt food. Last time we went, I asked for borracho beans instead of refried. The refried beans were scraped from the to-go container (remnants were still there) and replaced with a small salad. No borracho beans were in the bag. Because this was the 3rd time our order had been wrong on a to go order, I called the manager. He apologized, and said theyll TRY to work on it. Love having new restaurants coming into our area, but want them to meet the needs of their customers, too.

This is my second time there and to be honest, my last time. First time there I had greasy tasteless fish tacos. Had a free gift card so I thought Id give them a second chance after hopefully getting their act together. Had the steak tampenqueno, one of their "signature" dishes..downright awful. Steak was like a thick chewy piece of fatty, grisly leather.. whatever red sauce they had on the cheese enchilada was equally nasty..best thing on my plate was the lettuce and chopped tomatoes..hard to mess that up. Please close and open up a shoe store and sell your steak there.

My husband and I ate here the other day for lunch. The queso was white, thick with nothing else. I have never had queso that was just cheese? The chips were cooked perfectly, but were so salty that we had to brush off the salt before eating them. We order the senior cheese enchilada plate and the refried beans and rice had very little flavor. I give them one star for the cheese enchilada. It was pretty good, but small. We have no plans to return. I will drive a little further to Stone Oak and eat at Taco Cabanna or Taco Bell

Just got the wawa burrito. Chicken fajitas were juice and tender with a crisp outside. Flavor overall was excellent. Ordered to go. I hear they have service problems but all new service businesss usually do for the first couple months give or take a month. I put 4 stars only because i feel the sauce and cilantro topping ratio could have been a little better. But i would def. Recommend this place. (I was) Greeted with smiles and food was excellent

Nice atmosphere, good service (especially Sergio.. He always takes care of us and always offers to give us our drinks to go) the food is always great. Just ordered the pirata taco (chicken, bean, avocado, and cheese on a toasted flour tortilla) it was awesome. The only issue Ive ever had with this restaurant is there bathroom. The soap dispensers are usually empty theres never any paper towels to dry your hands at least in the mens restroom.

This restaurant has great customer service and fabulous food! I received my food within ten minutes and nothing was missing. I didnt have to ask for anything additional. My waitress anticipated everything I could have desired before I asked. My food has always been delicious whenever ive eaten at Ay Chiwaws. The atmosphere is relaxing, and every so often I bump into friends. Evidently, Im not the only one who loves Ay Chiwawas!

The chips and hot sauce were pretty good and the prices were reasonable. However, I thought the place was very loud and almost impossible to carry on a conversation with a person setting across the table.. The place was half empty and it still took over an hour to get our food, which was not very good. In general, the service was very poor and I will not be back for a second time.

Tried here 5 times now; impressed every time. Fantastic friendly service, great food at reasonable to low prices. Never have a problem getting service. Just went back; still best overall place around: Kristin was fantastic, and enjoyed our clowning around with her and mockingly giving her a hard time. Everyone there was pleasant. Will definitely continue to go there.

Oustanding service and food as well as decor. Sergio....bartend, pro, extremely knowledgeable, perfectionist, people person. Draft dos equis, nice and cold. Frozen margaritas, nice top shelf. Chicken poblano sauce excellent. Fajita nachos excellent, good tasty jalapenos. Salsa good but nothing special. Will def go back.

New restaurant and just had to try it out. This place didnt disappoint. We had barbacoa tacos= good, fajita taco plate = good, bean and cheese nachos= good, tostada compuesta= good. Restaurant and bathroom were very nice and clean. Waitress was good but seemed busy and/ or short staffed. Definitely will return.

Service was good. They also have a bar there. Food was subpar. Rice was disgusting tortillas were not homemade guac was from a bag. Also ordered sopapillas and they were basically a flour tortilla with c cinnamon and sugar didnt even have its own dough or the correct shape it was literally a flour tortilla cut in four

not good. I ordered cheese enchiladas and they were served with chili meat sauce on top. Beans were bland. Rice stuck together. Acoustics are very bad, can hardly hear one another talk. Tea was not refilled. Will try it one more time to see if there are improvements.

One of the worst experiences that Ive had in a long time! Went as a group after work and had horrible service, OVERPRICED tiny $12 margaritas and AWFUL management customer service. I definitely do not recommend wasting your time or money in this establishment.

Thats only because they dont have a negative star. The food is over priced for certain items on menu and the taste is bland. I couldnt eat it. This is the first time I sat to eat, paid for the meal and had to go somewhere else to eat dinner.

Very nice decor. Food wasnt what I was expecting, but it was good. Our waitress wasnt very exceptional. Also, this is the first place that has ever charged for a refill. the missing stars is for charging for refill of soda and waitress

Amazing service even though we showed up right before closing. Good food. Best service weve had in San Antonio. He was right on top of refills and went above and beyond offering different salsas, keeping those topped off and chips.

Excellent food and service. Prices are decent for the good sized portions and high quality of food served. As should be expected at a real restaurant its bussy @ lunch and dinner so expect a wait if going during those times.

I really want to like this restaurant, but its just ok. The food is bland and needs more seasoning. The alcohol is good. The breakfast tacos are good. But theyre always cold when I get them to the drive thru.

We waited 15 minutes to be seated..not bad, we waited an hour for our food. When we did get our food, it was cold, not warm but cold. I believe it was pricey for the quality. First and last visit.
