As a former employee, Id like everyone to know what theyre getting when you go to this place. There is literally nothing fresh about this place. The closest thing to fresh you get is the sandwiches which are still are anything but. I personally watched on multiple occasions as various things (bread, lemons, toppings, soups) were thrown away in bulk because entire boxes would sit and mold in water on the floor. Every single desert comes premade in huge tubs (one of which I had to dig out of the trash and use despite being open to "avoid losing profit") and along with the fruit, would freezer burn because the management would allow the freezer to warm up and recool. Theres no lemons in the "fresh made" boxed corporate lemonade, the eggs come in bags, customers have found metal in their food and were told not to tell, and the conditions behind the veil of the counter should definitely be questioned. Besides health concerns, I have never personally seen any workplace so poorly run and detrimental to its employees. If you come here looking for a job, with exception to the newer managers, excpect to be verbally abused, overworked, uncompensated, belittled, and degraded by certain managers. I hope no one ever eats here again out of genuine concern.

I come here a lot for informal business meetings. Its a casual informal place. Love the chicken paninis. Try and avoid the lunch hours - there can be a bit of a wait at that time. Free wifi is good. Generally clean, and we can usually find a table that has been cleaned, although at lunch times, I see people trying to find an open table only to find it has been left in a mess by the previous customer (no fault of CB) and the staff just havent got around to it yet. They may need to have the staff members who bring out your food just eyeball the empty tables and check for any cleaning, then call over a busser.

This place is a joke. Food is cheap processed food and expensive. Got a muffin that was frozen and still had ice in the middle. If you eat here, you have no taste for good food. The servers will run over you and they clean the tables with a dirty stinky rag. I would not like my worst enemy eat here. The place was nasty, the drink area did not have tongs for the lemons, it was nasty dirty, and the floor looked like it had not been cleaned in weeks. As much as I hate the Wafflr House, it would be a great update in quality and taste to eat there instead of Corner Bakery. Please dont waste your time!!

Went this morning for World Smile Day, where they were giving out 2 smile mugs per person. Web site states they open at 7am, we got there at 7am and all the mugs were gone. Was told they open at 6:30am. Very poor to have hours on your website that are not correct. And to make matters worst, they had 2 mugs just sitting on the counter. I asked about those and she said that they are for someone else. Put them behind the counter, if this is true. Dont just have them sitting there. It will be a long time until I go back to Corner Bakery. This promotion was handled very poorly.

Ordered to go and made the cashier Alexis aware I would be sitting on the patio waiting for order. She never let me know whether the order was ready and finally after about 25 minutes I asked about it and a young man stated she never told him I was waiting on the order. I noticed several times she was texting on her phone in between serving customers, doesnt seem like shes very interested in helping others. What happen to the good old days when people helped others because they loved what they doing and not just for a pay check?

HORRIBLE SERVICE! Waited over a hour and 10 minutes for a chicken sandwich and I NEVER received it! Spoke with manager who was rude and did not care that I had been waiting over an hour. If "short staffed" please let your customers know that wait times are over an hour and have them decide if their schedules allow, before ordering. Others around me were also waiting over an hour and getting frustrated. Many tables were open and it was not packed with people. WILL NEVER RETURN. Disappointed in their service.

My family went here for the first time for lunch. It was a big disappointment. The staff was a bunch of high school girls, who looked put off by having to serve us. The tables were dirty, the wait was ridiculous, and the cost of the food ($50 for a family of 4, including a toddler) was just sad. The food was poorly prepared and certainly didnt taste worth what we paid for. Do Not take your family here. There are plenty of other places in the square to go.

Ive been to this Corner Bakery on three seperate occasions and have been impressed every time. The facility is always clean and well stocked. The staff more knowledgeable of the menu items than most places I frequent. The managing staff is obviously on top of things and has plenty of experience. The food is phenominal as well. Salads and sandwiches with quality ingredients and made with speed and intensity.

Very good food and service. Fell in love with their oatmeal but now everytime I go they "have run out." I go earlier and earlier. I guess I need to pitch a tent and camp out and maybe if Im first in line I can get some patmeal.

I liked the people and the food and atmosphere. The only problem is their wait is long and they forgot to put the caramel in my bag for the banana pancakes, and the caramel was the only reason I got those.

I ordered a cappuccino and a latte, and it took this girl nearly 20 minutes to get them out, and even then, they werent very good. The food looked good, but I hate to think how long it would take.

The food is ok: pretty much what youd expect from any Corner Bakery but its often rushed and thus sub-par. What makes this location less than stellar is the fact that its always overly crowded.

The food is typically good, but kitchen was ridiculously slow. If youre in a hurry, avoid this place... I waited 45 for warmish food. I doubt Ill ever return to the Southlake location.

Rating as a vegetarian. The toasted bagel that I got was days old and over toasted. Not enough vegetarian options. The staff are young kids.
