We were passing through craving barbecue lunch and came upon this restaurant. The menu selection seemed tempting and the place smelled good but beware. We were slow to be serviced though we showed up when the place was not too busy. We got our food and my daughters 4 ribs were cold? But not her sausage (2 small pieces) or anything else? This was not cool like it was set out and forgotten, this was fresh from the refrigerator cold! We waited for the waitress show up, then my husband got fed up and went to find her to address this issue. About 20 minutes later (when we were all about finished eating) she comes with a small plate of 2 ribs which she claimed were fresh from the grill. So where were my daughters original ribs from? No explanation, just a short insincere apology. The meal progressed like nothing had happened and the check came. I was shocked nothing was done to correct this terrible wrong. The food was pretty good otherwise, but not good enough to make me want to try again. There are more barbecue places around that look more promising. Such a disappointment with such potential.

We didnt like the vibe of this place. The only reason I gave this place 2 stars is because their hog fries were actually pretty good. The service is left to be desired though. She knew we needed refills but she just walked past us every time. Also, the food took forever to get to us. They also need to bump up the air conditioning it is way too hot in the place. Drinks are over priced. This place wasnt for us. If you want to go and have some drinks there is a bar in the back to go enjoy. Im giving this place a negative review because the service was bad, the food took forever to get to us, and stuff was over priced. Just wasnt impressed.

Worst service Ive ever had in a restaurant ,It took 52 minute to get 3 meals and another 7 for the easiest one a baked potato, at 12:20 they were out of onion rings,rice pilaf,and Dr.pepper.Ive been coming to Seguin for the last 30 years and will let everyone i know how horrible the service is!If I would have been on my lunch break i would have been fired for taking to long.Our waitress said it would take a little longer because they had a group of 8-10 people and i asked her is it going to be an hour and of course she said NO.Boy was i wrong

Preface: This place isnt going to blow you away at 2:30pm. If you want stellar, then pay 3x as much if you want. I came for a late lunch with my Fiance, which is usually kryptonite for mom and pop restaurants, but they were spot-on. The Buffalo Salad had fresh, cold ingredients, topped with hot and crispy buffalo chicken. The Cowboy Nachos had smoky brisket, tasty beans, and queso. None of it tasted pre-made or left over from the lunch rush. It was probably the cleanest Ma & Pa Ive been to in a while.

The food is so amazing... The waitress showed compassion for her job and for us... If you want a date night Id most definitely recommend going here... The chicken fried steak and onions were big enough to feed 2 people... I compliment the evening cook as well because whoever it was loves what they do... I will most definitely be coming back especially on a Friday to check out the all you can eat catfish...

Great service. Plenty of napkins, waitress kept our glasses full and she checked on us several times. Well done. My wife and I had the Chicken fried steak and it was delicious. Fries were excellent and even the TX toast was good. We now have a favorite spot to go to when in Sequin. Looking forward to trying out their other food. Keep up the good work!

Food was fantastic as usual but when I placed my order the waitress told me....."We are busy so its gonna take a while". Staff was overwhelmed and I heard her tell the next table..."we are so busy, this is going to take a while" I also saw two groups leave because Noone came to get them seated !

Everything was decent but nothing was really great... The Waiting time was long... There seemed to be only 1 waitress that worked there when I visited that had to work her ass off...she did a good job tho! But she would have needed at least another waitress in her team.

We ordered the fried catfish and it was excellent. The tea was very good. But we sat close to the rest rooms and they were rough. However service was good, food was great and she gave us a great coupon on the way out for a steak dinner upon return.

I ordered The Houston steak and my boyfriend ordered the chicken fried steak. Delicious. We also had the cowboy brisket nachos. The nachos were Very skimpy on the brisket but still good.
