Okay, so I WAS gonna rate this place a 3 star only to be generous because we had an awesome waitress named Betty or Betsy (sorry I couldnt read the handwriting on the bill). We ordered the Pu-Pu platter which was great. Very yummy. I ordered the Sweet and Sour Chicken and a side of Fried Rice. The Sweet and Sour Chicken was good. The "fried rice" was not fried rice it was white rice with some pepper in it and some veggies, not impressed. Hubby had the Sesame Shrimp with a side of white rice. This is where things take a turn for the worse. His food was NASTY! The sauce was gross. Too many veggies on the plate. That shrimp was the WORST! If you like the taste of dirty butthole than the Sesame Shrimp is just right for you. That shrimp was awful. My hubby asked me to take a bite and see for myself and I was literally ready to spit my food out in front of everyone but I was a trying not to make a scene in front of other customers. I was shaking my head and saying under my breath to my husband "absolutely not..this is disgusting.." My poor husband ate that and he didnt say anything because he didnt wanna ruin the night. I told him next time to speak up it wont upset me. So we are on our way to Home Depot and he says he is going to vomit and needs to pull over. I no its bad when he says he is going to throw up because he has an iron stomach. He did just that, threw up on the side of the road. NOT GOOD! The food made my husband sick and made me nauseous! I would NOT recommend eating here. The service was great, the food was gross. Sad too because I wanted to give a little bit of a higher rating because our waitress was great. JUST SAY NO TO THIS PLACE. NOT CHINESE FOOD AT ALL. A waste of money.

We were frequent diners there before the renovation. I was excited they had reopened, so I called in an order tonight. The food was swimming in layers of grease and their orange chicken had the same nasty sauce they drowned the beeF and broccoli in. I was so appalled, I took the beef and broccoli back. The lady in the front made the same face of disgust I had and admitted they have new cooks and are also under new ownership. I wished them the best, but will NOT be going back. To top it all off, they raised the prices, lessened the portions on a product that is not quality food. Never. Again.

We enjoyed the food and the service very much. Had the Dinner for 2, chose Mongolian Beef and Beef Chop Suey, included egg-rolls, crab rangoon & soup (we chose hot & sour). Price was more than reasonable with enough food for (4) meals! The waiter was very knowledgeable, prompt and courteous. The food was tasty and fast. Atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. Would highly recommend Dragon Place if youre looking for something above and beyond the typical oriental "food trough" buffets.

Absolutely terrible. I asked for generals chicken and lo mein for a quick takeout (Im traveling) and she never gave me my lo mein and told me the amount charged was only for the "fried rice" which was really steamed rice with carrots and peas and the "generals chicken" which I later found out wasnt chicken at all, but pork! Also, the egg roll that came with it had sea food in it which she did not tell me. Terrible and I LOVE Chinese and oriental food but this place is a bust.

We are on vacation visiting my mother-in-law and neice for high school graduation. This the first Ive eaten here. The food overall tasted bland for me. I asked for fried rice with my meal and it seems the "fried rice" was steamed rice with vegetables added. My daughter asked for sweet tea only to be told the dont have sweet tea. My mother thinks its pretty good and I guess for a small town like Seguin that might be the norm but I dont.

Only tried this place one. I ordered the Kung Pow Chicken with steamed white rice and egg rolls. The rice was good, the egg rolls were excellent, but the Kung Pow Chicken was not very Kung Pow-y. In fact, it was rather bland. I will give this place another try someday but I wont order that dish again until they add some flavor to it. Try the Kung Pow Scallops at P.F. Changs if you ever get a chance! Now, thats flavor!

This was our first visit to Dragon Place and we were very disappointed. The egg rolls and the shrimp were swimming in grease. The fried rice with all the vegetbles and meats did not have a taste that really appealed to me. The Decor was nice, like most places like this. The one thing that was excellent was the waitress we had. She was responsive to our needs and is a credit to the restrauant.

Ordered 3 seperate dishes. Sesame chicken, chicken lomein & happy house (?). All the dishes were sickly sweet. There was no savory flavor. If the dishes had traditional american-chinese flavors this would have been a great place. Due to the sweetness of the dishes we will not be trying this place again. For the price it wasnt worth it.

25 years ago they had excellent food. Now I have giving it about a 5th & last chance over the last several years. Went today after about a year "just to see" and am very disappointed. Horrible taste, totally dry, and not even an egg roll for $10.00 something during lunch. Sorry DP, time to close the doors IMO.

The food was fantastic and the server that serviced the table was wonderful. She helped us pick out our meals with excellent results. Will come back again! The Happy Family dish was fantastic! Highly recommend the Won Ton soup, and the Pu Pu platter!

The best Chinese food! Chicken and black bean is my favorite. The egg rolls are handmade and delicious! I love that they dont put a bunch of soy sauce is the fried rice and I can ask for my dish with no msg!

The food is great again! The restaurant is lovely. They closed for a few months to upgrade kitchen and throughly clean. Original owners are back. They are sweet and welcoming! Love it!
