At first, we liked the food at Pavani express. Some items like Idly, Vegetable Biryani were really good. That prompted us to go to this place the second time. This is when we found a huge problem. We ordered Rava Masala Dosa, Pesarattu to eat at the restaurant and ordered Vegetable Fired Rice and Gobi Manchuria TO GO. First of all, this time none of the items were that good, but much much bigger and disgusting thing was that we found a cockroach in the Vegetable Fried Rice that we ordered to go and opened at home. We were absolutely disgusted, particularly imagining the food that we ate there couple of times already. We read some other persons review about finding a cockroach in the food at this place, but thought it was fake seeing the 4+ rating in the google. Now after having first hand experience of finding a cockroach our self, we feel really stupid and foolish to have ignored that review. We warn anyone, food might be tasty sometimes, but only if you are willing to eat cockroaches too.

I had a horrible experience at this restaurant today. I ordered Uthapam and while I was eating, I found a cockroach in the sambhar!!! It was so shocking !! I decided to immediately report it to the waiter.. The waiter did not accept his mistake and said its pretty normal to find cockroach in food!!!Asked me to stop making a scene.. Hotel manager was not present at that time... Meanwhile I was asked not to come to the restaurant if I cannot tolerate cockroaches in food... It was unbelievable to hear this after someone has been served u food with cockroach .. I would not recommend anyone to go to Pavani express as it is one of the most unhygienic Indian restaurant.. Their kitchen is also dirty and staff is very rude... Swear never to go to this place again.. Very bad experience

Ultra dirty place. Reminded me of irani galli cafe in hyd. Lo mein for hot and spicy noodles. Gobi manchuria was over filled with onion garnishing. And the chunks were too big. Finally the vada. Was ok. Taste of all the above was ok. I would have given 3 starts if the place was a bit tidy.

If you consider food taste and food options, this is a must go place. But this place lacks bit about amenities and sitting arrangements. But when you compare this other chat restaurant India Chat, this one is far better for options on menu and obviously taste.

Liked the food. Tried the Andhra Spicy Dosa and was alright. Saag Paneer was really good. The quantity is good too. The service is exceptionally quick. It is more like a home setup with friendly staff member. Definitely will go there next time.
