Im a HEB fan and was excited to try this restaurant, but my recent visit was the first time Ive been disappointed by an HEB establishment/product. Walked in around 1PM. No one in line ahead of us. Only employee near the cash registers was a girl at the blackboard writing specials. She didnt acknowledge us for several minutes. She even turned around toward us, worked on her marker, then turned back to the blackboard without saying a word. Unusually poor customer service for HEB. Usually HEB employees are quick to stop what theyre doing to do anything to make the customer happy. When she finally realized we werent going away, she took our order (cant say she seemed too enthused to have to deal with us). Nevertheless, this is HEB so the product must be good, right? We ordered the brisket and pulled pork with beans, mac & cheese and potato salad. Brisket was a little dry, but as good as Bill Miller (in other words: No better than any other BBQ place). Pulled pork was unlike anything Id seen before and not in a good way. It was very very soupy and didnt taste very good. They might have been trying for NC pulled pork (vinegar based sauce), but Ive eaten pulled pork in NC many times and never seen anything like this. The beans, mac & cheese and potato salad were pretty good, but again if you already have your favorite BBQ place then I recommend that one. Also, although the place looks clean, we had several flies buzzing us the whole time we were there. On a good note, my daughter raves about the salads and it looks like a good place to have a beer or two.

It just so happens I was working close by to this establishment. I went in to try it and there was one of the managers on duty out there being helpful. In my experience wont be in there people were quick to help and answer. He even let me try a sample of the ribs before I chose to buy them. I definitely love the barbecue. I definitely think it is better than Bill Millers cuz I am not a fan of Bill Millers chop sandwiches that taste so Bland. This one actually had flavoring. And the ribs I was to die for. I went in there a second time to see how it was without the manager being around. The staff was a little bit slower and not quick to respond. But the food still tasted just as good and it did seem like my food took a little bit longer than last time to get. But I would recommend this place for the quality of food. The staff on the other hand is why I will not give it 5 stars. The place each time I went was very clean. I definitely will go back here for the food

You would expect better food from HEB. Only eat there following a game when were desperate to eat quick kids home to bed. The artisan pizzas are good, otherwise I am still hopeful that something on the menu will be good. Fourth trip and disappointed every time. I suggest you stay away from the Caesar dressing its really sad and I have never seen one that color. The blackened chicken is nowhere near a blackened chicken flavor. You probably wont be able to stomach the Korean pork sliders. HEB has better pastas in the frozen section. The little culinary corner where they hand out samples should be giving advice to the restaurant I dont know if its contracted or what the story is but the food is just substandard.

Horrible. First I told the lady taking my order I wanted to eat here, they still packaged my food to go. We waited over 10 minutes for our food to come and when it did it wasnt fresh at all. I dont mind waiting for fresh hot food but when you wait over 10 minutes for your food and it comes not fresh its disappointing. I loved eating here when the restaurant first opened i also got fresh hot food, but lately the last couple of times has been horrible food wise. On the other hand the staff was pretty nice. It still doesnt make up for the horrible food.

We live down the street, and we visit Oaks Crossing at least once a week. Its got a family friendly vibe, a great little lawn for kids to play on, live music a few times a week, and DELICIOUS food. My favorites are the chicken nachos and the calamari, but they offer seasonal menu changes, too, like hatch chili pepper entrees when theyre in season. The staff is always friendly and the prices are good - plus, you can get your groceries after your meal! We love Oaks Crossing!

For being part of HEB i feel they are very meager with their portions. HEB being the giant grocery store it is, you might expect to get something much heartier but the Sandwiches taste as if Im eating solely bread and lettuce. For the money and quality I believe there are much better meals to be found in the actual grocery store that are already pre made.

Really good food, beer, and a fun place to hang out with friends and kids. There is a nice patio outside to let the kids play while we enjoyed the live music. I was not expecting this restaurant to be a gem since is it connected to the HEB. The craft beer selection was also a pleasant surprise.

Outstanding alternative to all the burger, pizza & taco joints in this area of Stone Oak. Very well prepared variety of items fresh off the HEB shelves, comfortable atmosphere with self serve advantage and huge seating area, never waiting for a table. Glad my neighbor recommended tying this place

We usually call and order carry out or Ill order while shopping to take home because I dont want to cook what I just bought. Food is pretty good, friendly staff and interesting drink selection. Plus its totally convenient to eat then pick up a few things at HEB without the kids being hangry.

Very loud music! Could not hear conversation across table. Asked to have music turned down and manager refused saying another customer asked music to be turned up. I guess we did not rate. Food was good. But loud music took away from Birthday lunch for 82 year old mom with grandkids.

Kids eat free on Thursdays. Even when kids dont eat free, its super cheap and hefty portions for the kids meals!! Like $2-3 for a huge plate of Alfredo pasta or spaghetti. Great decor. Clean. Fun atmosphere and outdoor patio area with turf for the kids to run around on.

Good food... Strange to say, "Lets go to the grocery store for dinner..." but its a nice little place and they have live music on the weekends. Good small craft beer selection, and they have a full bar as well.

Decent to great food, great variety, and reasonable prices. Texas BBQ (best baked beans Ive had because they had shredded brisket in them), great potato fries, Korean BBQ fishes, fried calamari, sandwiches, etc.

Love this place. Extremely reasonable prices & excellent food. Love the TX craft beer selection on tap. Good place to catch a game or some live music on the weekends.
