Love this place. They have a very full menu of both classics and of house specialties...definitely something for everyone. The staff is very friendly and professional. Im not sure why one reviewer had bad coffee, maybe they just had an off day. Im a snob about my black coffee and I thought theirs was quite pleasant...had three cups. The eggs Benedict was outstanding, perfectly poached eggs and an excellent hollandaise sauce. Another reviewer commented that they where expensive. Everything was under 10 bucks. The eggs Benedict was 9.99 which is a good price. Nothing on the menu was overpriced in my opinion. If you dont want to pay 8 or 9 bucks for good cookin then maybe you should hit McDonalds. We will definitely be going back. Highly recommended.

Very disappointed experience ever, went today for the very first time and was ignored. The place was busy and we understood we were a party of 5 people and it would take a while to be sited, the hostess told us 15 minutes it was 35 minutes and we still was not seated. The host was given options that it was okay for us to be seated separate table since we were two families she totally ignore the suggestion and continue to put parties of two to go through. We finally left when a couple just arrived and it was a party of two and waited less then a minute when they got seated. By that time we were Waiting 40 minutes.

My family has visited the establishment several times. Food is not bad although a little pricey on some things. The coffee is really bad, we sent ours back, for 2.50 a cup I would expect something a lot better. The service is why I usually go somewhere else. The staff often times seem bothered when tasked with something, the owner acted offended that I sent the coffee back and continued the rest of the service with a bit of attitude. So, how much extra is it for good service?

Kind of pricey for their small food portions. Atmosphere is nice. Biscuits are to die for. Vast menu of breakfast and lunch plates. Coffee was made too dark, but they did have Caramel Macchiato creamer which kind of offset it. Seems more like a place for adults, kids menu is very small and they do not have high chairs. Most tables/ booths only accomodate 4 guests; they do have 3 tables that seat 6.

This is a fantastic breakfast spot that deserves to be your go to for a nice fresh breakfast. The service is friendly and the food is plentiful. Kids love the pancakes and I love the chicken fried steak with eggs. The portions are generous and the food is hot and fresh. Support our local breakfast spot right in our neighborhood! Stop reading and go get some grub!

You did a horrible job on Gina Haddens cake for her daughters graduation and charged her $200.00. The cake looked NOTHING like the picture, you couldnt eat it at all. There was no frosting on it. The fondont was hard as a rock. You wont return Ginas text messages or calls. You need to refund her back the money for this cake.

This is a wonderful place with great food, amazing service, and a quiet intimate atmosphere. What i like about the food is that it is impeccably prepared and seasoned perfectly every time. This is not a place to excite you, it is a place to relax you and quiet your soul. My favorite in KC.

Had Sunday breakfast here and was amazing. Yes they were busy with the church crowd but service was speedy and food was hot and fresh and very flavorful. Even the salsa was homemade and tasted great (not much heat but amazing flavor to it) for sure a place to try!

We went here on a Sunday right before noon. Our waitress was kind of slow. People who ordered after us got their food before us, but when we finally got the food, it was AMAZING. Will definitely be coming back.

Very home-town feel. Most of the wait staff is young high school/college aged kids but all very respectful and attentive. Food is good and menu is vast enough to have a lot of options even for a picky eater.
