It can be hard to find a bar in a good location with a respectable beer selection sometimes. While The Ginger Man certainly isnt the mecca of craft beer selection, it has a decent selection. Beers range from anywhere between $6-$8 a pint, so if youre not careful, you could run up quite the tab (been there). If you know whats good for you, pass on the eats and just drink beer. Inside, youll find a great long bar with an array of tables for an easy amount of with a patio outside thats great for a summer evening. Pretty swell spot to throw one back.

Food was disgusting and overpriced. Then even though they werent supposed to charge my card (and I was reluctant to give it) they did anyway and right after asked me to pay! Fraud comes to mind with this business and the only reason I am happy I went is so that I never have to go again. You can never find parking, and the inside is crowded on top of all the other problems. Bottom line, its nothing more than a crappy tourist trap.

This place is so "Shops of Legacy" (as in ZERO personality). Hell, even the juke box sucks. Its hard to believe that this place has any relation whatsoever to the GMan off McKinney or the one in Austin. This place is the equivalent of fake breasts. Looks great from a distance but when you get right up close and personal... an incredible disappointment.

Waitstaff thought our IDs were fake and gave us an impromptu "quiz" on them. When I inquired why we were having an exam based on information on our IDs I received a very rude, passive aggressive, and nuanced reply. No one is our group was anywhere near underage nor look like it. I came to have a beer not play games with some rude waiter.

As pubby as you can get in the manufactured development known as Shops at Legacy. Still, its the same chain as the ones in Manhattan, Austin, and Dallas, so that means - amazing beer selection, especially on tap, and a knack for creating intimate spaces in a small environment for a couple to a small group of people.

This place is very small and narrow (there is really one row of seats and one row of bar area), not really good if you want to go with few people for happy hour. Also, they only have beer so if you drink anything other than beer and want more space to hang out with friends this is not the place.

They werent supposed to charge my card but they tried to anyway. I just got a call from visa fraud prevention saying that they attempted to charge my card 2 times after I paid in cash. Then I come here and the first review says the same thing. DO NOT GO HERE AND GIVE THEM YOUR CARD INFO!!!!

The Ginger Man in the Shops of Legacy is the place to stop and get a pint of beer - a great pub and a long standing Dallas tradition. Try the root beer - they have an entire walk of taps to choose from. Hang out in the library or in the patio.

In this manufactured shopping center, Shops at Legacy, its the closest thing youll find to an authentic spot. Nothing close to their main uptown location, though. Good, but service was so-so, and two of the beers I asked for were out.

Great little pub. Brought a friend from CA here when he was in town. Had a great time. Brought a friend from Fort Worth over here. Still had a great time. The board with Cheese, apples, hummus, was AWESOME. 5/5 would go back.

Cool spot. Located in a great place to walk around so you can enjoy yourself before or after some drinks. In Ginger Man there are so many good spots to sit its hard to pick. A fantastic selection of beer and friendly people.

I LOVE the Ginger Man. It is all about the good craft brews. It has a nice atmosphere and is quite pleasant. I wish it were bigger. Its long and narrow, which can be a little annoying when it gets busy and crowded.

Great spot. Love the indoors and outdoors here. Good beer list, although not the most expansive. Limited food menu, especially if you are vegetarian. A go to place for the weekend within the Frisco/Plano area.

I love the No Smoking signs on your tables while you simultaneously provide ashtrays. Oh how i love the smell of cigarette smoke blowing back in my face. Its a real crowd favorite....

First time at the Ginger Man in Plano. It is a bit small indoors but they have a good outdoor seating area to hang out with friends. Probably my favorite bar in the area.
