Worst experience ever! Pulled into the parking lot to early. One guy came out all rude shaking his head saying we needed to go back into the road and pay like everyone else. We said weve never been here before we didnt know. Went back up to the road to pay, paid- I asked the guy were we should go cause the other guy yelled at us for being the the wrong place. This guy started saying well you should have followed the signs and did it like everyone else the first time. ( let me just tell you there is no sign directing you). A few more words were said and we asked for our money back and went to Joes Marina!!! Same price with twice the goodies and the guy was super sweet right when we pulled up. And yes my husband did say that BECAUSE you or your employee insulted me when I nicely asked if he could be more specific on where we should park because the other guy had just yelled at us for doing it wrong. And many places you park and then go up to pay. We werent trying to get away with not paying. We were nice even after the first person was rude. My husband had it when the second guy was rude to me.

We had a group of ten people and a boat. They wouldnt let us sit at the restaurant and drink or buy food while others went out on the boat. (it wasnt even busy). We offered to spend a lot of money there (obviously with ten people thats pretty easy to do) and they still said no because we brought our dogs. We then offered to pull out lawn chairs off the patio so our dogs could stay and they also said no. So we went out on the boat.. which broke down. We got it back to the dock and they didnt ask to help or if we were okay. It took us a while to get the boat back on the trailer and the owner paced around our cars waiting to yell at us.

If youre looking for a five star restaurant this isnt for you. But if you want great American hot food with cold drinks and an amazing view right on the lake... This is for you! The fries are the best btw. Staff was friendly as well. Also... We have come down here since the cafe opened and never once has anyone told us we werent welcome without a boat-lying on reviews is not cool dude.

Closest boat coming from San Antonio $15 is a bit steep (considering the parking and road and ramp are closer to unusable rather then usable) but it beats the other public boat ramp Avalon county park a complete shithole and still $15 to launch.warning Avalon is not a state park your Texas parks pass is no good there.

Great place to launch your boat or have dinner after a day on the water. Ive been bringing my family here for 20+ years and the owners and staff are alway friendly and helpful. As always I find being respectful and responsible go a long way to having a good experience anywhere you go.

Its a little expensive to launch your boat, but its a good ramp at a good angle with plenty of room to maneuver. No a/c in the restaurant and it gets pretty damn hot in there. However, there are outside tables with good shade. I dont know about the food, I havent eaten there in years.

My son was storing his boat over there and passed away on 6-2016 I went to go talk to him about what Craig owed for storage so I could get it and he told me it wasnt mine. It was his boat ... So he is trying to steal one and only thing I have left of my son

Best place in Medina Lake for cold beer and great food. You can dock your boat right at the marina to go eat and take a break from the heat. The owners, Chris and Debbie, make everyone feel welcome and at home.
