Let me begin by saying that I have been going to the other Longhorn cafe in Leon Springs for years. So, when this location opened, I was excited. But, after many visits, I realize that this location has problems. 1. The service has never been good. They have gotten a little more efficient as time has gone on, you dont have to wait forever to get your food now, but not super friendly. 2. The quality of the food is not up to par with the other location. For example, the nachos we got yesterday had frozen shredded lettuce on them and poorly seasoned meat. After asking for jalapenos, they gave us about four or five slices. The kids hamburger is literally a thin meat patty on a bun... No lettuce, pickle, tomatoes, etc. I mean, even McDonalds kids burger comes with some pickles and onions. Totally not worth almost 5 bucks. 3. There is a sign that says Ranch 25¢ Ranch 25¢ Ranch 25¢ Ranch 25¢ Ranch 25¢ Ranch 25¢. Literally 6 times on one sign. We get it. You are charging us for ranch dipping sauce. Point taken. But, this sign comes across rude and sarcastic to me. The best part is that if you get ranch, it is a small cup that measures about 1/4 cup, and they fill it about 1/3 full. Seriously? For 25¢ you cant even fill it up? 4. After being so cheap with the ranch, they actually expect a tip. A tip? You want me to come up to you to order, get my own utensils, fill my own drink, come up to the counter to get my tray of food, and pay for ranch, and then you want a tip??? May I ask for what? I decided Ill frequent this eatery less. Im super excited that we are getting some other restaurants opening up along 46 that will be convenient to try out!

A good dine-in or to-go restaurant with a mix of southern and Texan country fried steaks, burgers, fries, fried pickles, fried okra, etc. The food is average to good tasting. The portions are big. We recommend the country fried steak or country fried chicken for the biggest portions on the menu. It feeds me and my two young kids. The gravy is good. The meat is sometimes overcooked. The kids always enjoy the fries and corn on the cob. The fried okra is neither bad nor great. The fried pickles are a tad salty. The burgers are always good. Definitely a family-friendly restaurant. Even though its family-friendly, I dont recall there being a changing table in the restrooms. Theres a playground out back and plenty of tables and seating throughout. Theres a second floor for bigger parties. The entrance may be a tad confusing.

Wow! Come Hungry or with someone to share. Great comfort food and a lot of it. The batter for the Chicken Fried Steak Sandwich and the Fried Chicken Sandwich was a great combination of flavor and crunch without being hard. The Half and Half of fries and onion rings is the best of both in one basket. I appreciated being able to have both without having two orders. They have a great outdoor area and an upper level eating area as well. Highly recommended for a fun atmosphere and great comfort food!

At Lunch there and they had 2 people with the same name, they thought they got my order wrong so quickly got it out to me. Turns out my order came out for the second time and they apologized for the mistake and boxed that order up to go. I ended up getting a free order! This is not the first time the customer service has been A+. They fit in well with the general good nature of people in Boerne and will thrive with this great mentality. Good food, good price and GREAT service!

On 02/27/2016 ordered food at 1250 pm and after watching orders get? picked up that was placed after ours asked for the manager to complain all they said was sorry but were busy. So after 45 minutes goes by finally get our order and its wrong plus the food was only luke warm sat and listen to other people complain because of the wait for orders and being wrong. So all I can say is if they look busy DONT STOP! !!!

Great choice for National Onion Rings Day yesterday! (They were delicious!) And while I normally get their amazing fried fish sandwich, last night I got the grilled chicken salad. The sweet cashier was happy to replace the iceberg for romaine for me (which I SO appreciate). My teenager always enjoys the club sandwich. And my little always gets their chicken strips. Everyone always leaves full and happy.

The food was good. Staff could have been friendlier. Issue we had. Other dining customers could not control their children. Difficult to have a lunch meeting with screaming and running children around. Especially with signs posted asking parents not to allow their children to run on deck area. Sadly due to no fault of their own, we will not be back.

One of the best places to eat in Boerne in my opinion. Lots of variety, great atmosphere, and friendly staff. Has a large patio with a little playground area that is great for kids plus a few video games for the teens. Expect to see all the local little league teams and parents here on weekends after the big game.

Went here today after church like we do every Sunday. The line was long to order with just one cashier working! Then they didnt have any glasses for drinks and we were giving a small styrofoam cup to use. Took over 20 minutes to get our cheeseburgers. Food was good, but I dont know what was going on today.

Drove in from San Antonio to see a film at the Boerne Starplex AMC. Food was very good. Kids enjoyed playing in the outside area. I was a bit disappointed that they didnt have more of a Playset for the kids to play on like many of the outdoor dining/family places in the area.

This place is one of the best places to get burgers or chicken sandwiches in Boerne Texas. What I like about this restaurant is the country feel and ranch style building. This is a must go for everyone who is new to Texas for visiting Texas for the first time.

This is an excellent big-burger/other popular American foods sit down restaurant. They have indoor & outdoor seating. Pricing is very fair for quality and portion. They also have excellent tableside entertainment on weekends.

NOT fast food. But the burgers are 5* compared to any fast food joint. Sweet potato fries are 4/5, only because they never cook them perfect every time. Even when they arent cooked right, theyre still good.

Longhorn has very good burgers. The atmosphere is cool and laid back and they are usually pretty fast getting food out. Prices are very reasonable. We love to eat here when were in Boerne.
