As others have mentioned, this place is definitely unassuming as it sits in the corner of a strip mall, but the folks on the inside made the cautious walk through the front door worth it. From one of the owners down to the locals stopping by for a drink, everyone made me feel welcome. I arrived shortly after five and there were just a couple people at the bar. They had four beers on tap and my favorite ended up being the Saint Arnold Elissa. I wasnt sitting at the bar more than 5 minutes when Cook, one of the owners, asked my name and started talking with me like I was a regular. The menu is small, but offers a blend of Asian and American options. I was torn between the Vietnamese eggrolls and potstickers as an appetizer and was talked into the eggrolls by Cook. She makes them by hand and offered me a spicy dipping sauce to go with them. They came out crisp and hot and were delicious. The dipping sauce had just enough kick to make my taste buds dance. Overall it was a great start. After another 45 minutes of sipping Elissa and talking with some regulars, I was torn again between a banh mi sandwich that is always on the menu and the daily special of smothered pork chop with rice and green beans for dinner. I went with the daily special and it was a great choice. The pork chop was very tender and the mushroom ladened gravy was tasty. The rice was cooked to perfection and the green beans tasted like my Mom made them. They sold out of the daily special while I was there as just about every regular that came in either ate a plate there or took one to go. Side note on the regulars, Ive been in plenty of "dive" or "townie" bars, but this one was the closest to Cheers that Ive seen. The bartender and Cook knew everyones name and all of the regulars knew each other as well. The atmosphere was great. A real, authentic neighborhood bar is always a great find in my book.

This is my watering hole as I live 5 minutes away from this establishment. I remember the first time I finally venture into this place as it looks like a shady bar given the location looks a bit run down. But once youre inside, you can feel the divey / neighborhood bar feel to it. I have been here for many occasions but this bar is definitely known for their steak night and the karaoke nights. The karaoke is pretty much every weekend starting Thursday, which is also their steak night. For $12, you get a nice ribeye and a baked potato. The toppings for the baked potato is on the side as it will be used from a communion bowl. This bar is definitely known for the karaoke because the back area of the bar has a great stage setup along with TV monitors for the lyric display. The drink price is really good and they would have specials every day of the week. One of their special shot is called Lap Dance, its definitely a good shot for men and women alike. What I like about this place is that the crowd is very diverse for a suburb neighborhood bar. You have a great mixed of various age, gender, and race where everyone are just here to have a good time. The bartenders are great gals too and the owner, Adam, a good man to know in this life time. They also have a giant Jenga right at the front door area and people are welcome to play it. Of course, it would cause some noise that would scare the bar crowd from time to time. Theres also a front patio for smokers to smoke and drink. If you live anywhere 5 to 10 minutes from this place, you should definitely come and check out this bar and possibly make this your new watering hole because this is definitely a hidden gem in the suburbia Houston.

I recently moved in the Houston area, my buddies brought me here one night and whether I feel like having a beer or just drinking a coke this place has always made me feel welcomed. As mentioned there is karaoke, beer, alcohol, and food. Their vietnamese rolls are great as well as their steak on steak night(Thursday nights) Ive tried other items on their menu and they are all pretty good. Definitely a great place to sit back and relax. The owner frequently has cheap beer nights on football game nights. As others have mentioned the place is just plain friendly. You can also look them up on Facebook as they post specials and events quite frequently.

Parking is shared with other businesses in that shopping strip, so it can be challenging to park. Aesthetically it isnt very appealing from the outside, but that shouldnt deter you. Once inside its not a huge improvement, but that doesnt stop the good times. Service is amazing, responsive, friendly, and patient. Prices are very affordable for food items. I dont drink so I cant tell you anything drink related. Their karaoke DJ is friendly and has a very large selection of songs, both new and older. Its a hole in the wall feel, but in the best possible way. Stop by, Im sure youll enjoy it. If you dont, Im sorry to hear that.

When my friends told me about this place they said it was a dive bar. I totally agree, but I think it is a well hidden gem. It is on the southwest corner of Briar Forest and Kirkwood in a place you would never expect. The only markings of the bar are on the shopping center sign and right above the door. If you arent looking you could miss it. It sits nested right next to a laundry mat. There isnt a lot of parking. If you are going with friends I suggest you carpool. On the inside youll find dart boards, karaoke, and a giant Jenga set. I havent tried the food yet, but I am sure to next time I go. It was a great time!

I went on a Thursday for the steak and potato deal. Music was a little too loud, but other than that the general vibe was very friendly. Total check for two steak and potato dinners with some extra toppings, two beers, and a split serving of bacon cheese fries came out around $50 including tip. Steak was surprisingly good, I didnt go in with high expectations but it was still tasty. The furniture was a bit old and the couches maybe a bit suspect (I wouldnt sit in them and Im not a picky person in general) and parking options are pretty bad as the lot for the strip mall is pretty small.

Always a good time at Three Sheets Bar & Grill. I usually come here on Thursday night for their steak night. $12 buys you a ribeye with fully loaded baked potatoes. At around 9:30 pm or later, they also have karaoke night. The owner, his wife, and all the staff working here are friendly people. This is the epitome of a neighborhood bar where everybody knows your name.

Fun laid-back crowd and excellent karaoke nights, I understand its one of the top 10 karaoke bars in Houston voted by the Houston Press. The Good the Bad and the Ugly all welcome here..lol, The bartender owner is super cool and always welcoming and willing to chat with you. One of those bars that you always go back too.

been coming here for 3-4 months now, i came because i was told the bar food would be good, the atmosphere was better. W-F Karaoke the only thing thing they always run out of is Michelob Ultra. Prices are descent, staff is A+++ imo. Cute girls plenty of those. Casual setting.
