HORRIBLE SERVICE! Downright rude, unprofessional and hostile wait staff if you question their service. It seemed during our visit that the entire restaurant, from wait staff to cooks, was run by high school kids. Where to begin? The Wait Staff: Spent more time socializing with each other and their friends who were at the restaurant than time spent serving guests. Waiter only visited our table once after bringing us water and taking our order. 20 minutes after we had ordered a hamburger and fried shrimp, we waved him down (he was actually counting his tips at the register with his back to us the entire time, one of his friends had to tell him to turn around). We asked where our food was and if he could go back to check (he never left the register for the 20 minutes after we had ordered (much less COME TO OUR TABLE). He smarted off in the most pretentious attitude and facial expression (in a tone that made it seemed we were inconveniencing him) for us to hold on. A waitress passing by, who had no involvement with our table, snidely commented and I quote, "It is coming! Do you want your food un-cooked or do you want it now?". Two other waitresses went to the back and lo and behold all of our food was ready and luke warm. Our waitor NEVER WENT TO THE KITCHEN TO CHECK until we brought the wait time to his attention. I have never been somewhere where the wait staff, our waitor + 2 other waitresses, verbally smarted off to comments that werent even directed to them when we inquired about our food. This does not include the 6-7 "youths" who were aimlessly walking around the restaurant chit chatting with each other on what time they got off, what party they went to, or what their plans were for tonight. One such youth who was an employee there, had shorts around his ankles, his drawers some times exposed, and an oversized T-shirt indicative of gang culture. Food: The Moondog burger was okay, sweet potato fries were good. Prepare to pay out the rear for mediocre food if you arent ordering a burger or sandwich. You could not pay me to return to this shack.

I didnt put a 0 because that wasnt an option.I worked at this place for a year and a half I stayed because of the bond I built with my co workers .However I feel the need to be honest with the public about what really goes on there as far as the food and owner (Robin) goes.First of all they only pass inspection because they are personal friends with the health inspecter That kitchen is disgusting. At any given time you will find food improperly stored, the coolers have dead flies and yes sometime maggots in them.Noone there gas a food handlers card. They treat employees so bad they can"t keep workers so they have to settle for whoever is desperate enough to work for them. They offer grouper on the menu, and what u really get is Rockfish or if your lucky Swai. The food that is served on the line is NOT temperature appropriate thus causing beans, queso, and soups to sour and spoil. We cooks arent allowed to throw any of it away. They make us serve it anyway. And the sad thong is even after helping the owner rob the public and deceive them in every way possible, she tries to rob us employees of our hours on the time clock.(She was a book keeper before this estanlishmemt, and has learned how to manipulate our time sheets. Her new manager has called her on it several times, and still this behavior comtinues. So be aware IF you are so brave as to work there DOCUMENT YOUR HOURS !!! If you eat there, dont eat or order the seafood as you will NEVER get what you are paying for.Stick to the nachos, burgers, and salads Have a blessed day

The appetizer and my food as decent, but my husbands food was awful and the service left some to be desired. We got the appetizer portion of crab cakes, they came out fast and they were yummy! I ordered the oyster po boy, it was good aside from the thick and starchy hoggy roll. It was like eating a giant slab of white bread, it wasnt toasted or steamed, just a giant chunk of overwhelming bread that really hid the taste of the delicious oysters. I asked for some horseradish sauce and was brought a side dish sized cup with a tiny amount of it mixed with a massive glob of watery sour cream, it tasted like old milk with no kick to it or anything, needless to say I didnt end up using that. My husband got the brisket and sausage, it was delivered to the table with only brisket and we were told they were out of sausage. We wish he would have been told before the food came out because he would have ordered something else. The brisket was tough and full of gristle. The side of "grilled asparagus" was soggy and had no crunch, definitely was not grilled, and if it was at some point it was hours prior and must have been sitting in a steamer pot to keep warm. The presentation was absolutely terrible, it made it all look so unappetizing! Service was slow, we waited 20 minutes for the check, we immediately put our debit card in it and the we waited 25 minutes more for her to pick it up. Wont be going back was happy to leave.

Recently visited your establishment to celebrate 31 wedding anniversary with my family. Party of 7. Most racist experience ever by the greeting hostess. I was told it would be a 45 minute wait, No Problem, we were vacationing and in no hurry. We had a list made out with restaurants and eager to try the brisket nachos. We waited, and waited, and waited. Everyone that came in after us was immediately seated. I made my way to the hostess and asked if I could see a menu so we could get an idea of what we wanted once we were sat down. She answered that they had no menus available. I stood by the front desk and a second hostess approached with a stack of approximately 8 menus in her arm and placed them on the front desk. I asked the same greeter I had asked before if I could see a menu then. She responded, No, Not Yet, and refused me a menu. I was polite, courteous, and professional. Just by her demeanor and attitude it was obvious to me and my family that this woman had some deep rooted issues. The only problem here was the color of my skin. I simply turned around gathered my family and enjoyed a pleasant evening in another establishment. They were happy to take my $250 and I was happy to let them have it. All I can say is that I hope you end up losing all your customers due to racism demonstrated by an ignorant staff member.

When we arrived we had a party of 9. We requested to be sat outside to enjoy the view but we were put in area that was still closed off but considered to be outside. When we asked if we could be moved further out to get the ocean view we were told the manager would NOT move tables together for big parties. We said we didnt mind being split up because we wanted to enjoy the view. The waitress had to double check with her manager for approval even though we agreed to being split up. They finally moved us a little further out. We still didnt get the area we wanted but we didnt complain. When our food arrived we received the wrong side item, and when we asked the waitress to correct the issue, she seemed to not believe it was her error. We didnt get all the items we requested but when we got the bill we were charged for each item we did not receive. Right before the end of our meal we noticed another family being of a white race were accommodated with no problems. Same size in family, same area we requested; race was only difference. Do I recommend the food? No. I recommend Freds Fish or Long John Silvers before I recommend this place for taste... service... if you are light colored you might receive great service.
