This one hurts. I so wanted to love it but I just didnt. I had the Fairfax. I thought the soft brioche bun with the extremely soft eggs made for squishy texture that just wasnt all the different. Inside, its small, pretty raw, and no frills which fits the location. Service was excellent. Everyone there is really friendly and knows how to use happiness words. So, Id possibly try again but try something different.

If you are looking for a wonderful dive with great (super affordable) food and a super friendly staff, then this is your place. If you have high maintenance friends that need to be at the newest, most pretentious places, dont take them here. They obviously wont get why this place is special and we eat here to avoid people like that.

Solid place for lunch or breakfast. Im here a few times a week. You can get a great meal plus coffee for around what youd spend at Waffle House. Thats just the food. Its a family owned business with super friendly owners, staff and regulars. Very unique décor and show posters on the walls.

Hidden gem! Came to Dallas for a honeymoon and were looking for a man size breakfast that didnt cost an arm and a leg. We found this mom-and-pop restaurant online with great reviews and checked it out for ourselves. We were not disappointed!!!! Great food great service friendly people!

Great breakfast/lunch spot for general diner food, but they also have some great Tex-Mex options. The food is ridiculously cheap ($4 to $7 for most things). It can get a little crowded from time to time, and difficult to find a table, but the wait usually isnt very long.

Favorite place of all time. Comfortable atmosphere and old school feel. Youll almost never leave with out striking up a conversation with a stranger. Eating at Goldrush is like eating with old friends, go back enough times and I promise you will be.

Sorry for not having a picture of the food, but it was too good and good-looking to not eat immediately. This place is awesome. And I hate to call it cheap, because the food is delicious, but $7.50 for some bomb migas? Yes. Please.

Good food, decent prices, ok coffee (none of the neighborhood diners seem to have good coffee), friendly service in a dreary but eclectic environment. Opening the blinds would help.

Consistently friendly service, and great food. The waffles cannot be beat. It does get pretty busy though, and there arent any tables meant for larger than four people.

Nothing special, friendly service but the food was like a basic greasy spoon. The waffles had an oddly savory taste.
